Harwood Central AC System Installation

Mark provided a check and tune-up of my central AC unit. He took time to explain what he was doing and why, provided tips on ways to keep the unit running smoothly, and was very thorough. In addition, Mark was very polite and professional. I would happily use his company again for any HVAC needs.

Clean Air convinced me that it was cheaper to replace my 19 year-old central air conditioner and furnace on the same day (one home visit by one two-man crew). The combined price of a new Carrier air conditioner and Carrier furnace was cheaper than the quotes I received from other companies for just the air conditioner. By registering their products, Carrier gives a 10 year warranty on parts. Clean Air gives a one year warranty on parts and labor. The Clean Air team wrote a detailed proposal, removed the old equipment, and installed the new furnace and A/C meticulously (including cleanup). I'm enjoying the new A/C while it swelters outside. By the way, the price included 2 new digital Honeywell thermostats.

He did a check and it didn't need anything, so I am hoping he was right. The HVAC was put in about 8 years ago so I figured it may need something adjusted. I was at work so my daughter was at home and let him in. He called me afterward to say all was well..

Debbie and Ron were really great to work with. They gave us a prompt estimate that was significantly lower than the others we got. The install was done professionally and efficiently. They obviously have lots of experience, know their business, and do it very well. We will definitely go to them for our future HVAC needs.

The entire process was a great experience through AQuality Heating and Air Conditioning. Sean, the Sales Representative was very knowledgeable in explaining the benefits of the Trane System, the financing program, and what is included in the installation. He provided a very competitive price for the complete installation and explained any applicable rebates. Sean and the technicians, Paul and James arrived on the scheduled date and time. They were very courteous and took the time to cover the floor and stairs to prevent any damage. Paul and James worked efficiently throughout the day. Their workmanship is very professional and of high quality. They tested the system for proper operation, explained how to use it, and cleaned up the area. I am extremely satisfied with AQuality Heating and Air Conditioning and the Trane Heating/AC. I feel this company and its employees understand the importance of providing excellent customer service, excellent installation, and offering competitive pricing. I will definitely recommend this company to my friends and relatives.

It was time to replace the old air conditioner system which was leaking refrigerant and wasn't worth sinking more money into. This was a difficult job to do. I had one other contractor who passed on it because of how the air handler unit was installed in the attic. It's a very tight spot and hard to get to because you have to climb into an opening, through the ceiling above the stairs (100 year old house). Air P & H Solutions was very pleasant and professional to work with (I worked with the owner, Alan) and offered a price that was about $700 less than the other quote I got (after BGE rebate & Angie's List coupon) for a similar system (from a contractor with an excellent Angie's List reputation). The cost would have been less if it was a more "standard" install. Mike, John, & Bobby were the techs who did the install and they did an excellent job. The system is much quieter and much more efficient than the old one. I've used Air P & H Solutions before and I highly recommend using their services.

I usually don't get too excited about contractors and rarely take the time to write reviews; but I'm making an exception for Crown Appliance Company's Jeff and Malcolm. During the peak of the 2012 scorching summer heat, my parents' air conditioning went up. My parents met with several contractors, choosing not to continue with the large company that they have dealt with for many years. Unfamiliar with Crown Appliance, I have to admit I was a bit skeptical at first. However, Jeff and Malcolm were extremely knowledgeable, listened to what my parents needs were and made excellent recommendations. Unlike their competitors, the guys from Crown didn't push over-priced equipment that they didn't need. They were always prompt, conscientious and dependable, installing the equipment quickly during a time when other companies were swamped and couldn't get the job done for several more weeks. Last week when my parents were away their furnace wasn't running. I contacted Crown Appliance Co. and had the opportunity to deal with Jeff and Malcolm myself. I now understand how they gained my parents respect and their business. I called Crown just before they closed on Thursday evening. Jeff and Malcolm came out first thing Friday morning. They quickly diagnosed the problem, acquired and installed the new part and charged a reasonable rate. In addition to being great technicians, Jeff and Malcolm are a real pleasure to deal with. They are professional, personable and very trustworthy. They will now have our entire family's business.

I came across Absolute Comfort Air in a rather accidental fashion, so I checked a good number of references before hiring them to replace my aging furnace and air conditioner. All I talked to spoke highly about the company owners, Edward and D.J. Garcia, praising them for competence, punctuality and reliability. Their price was the lowest of all the quotes I received (nearly 10% lower the next one). My experience with the company was a very positive one. They always answered or quickly returned my phone calls. They did everything they promised they will. The installation was not a simple one since the closet space for the HVAC equipment was very limited. The owners (they did the installation themselves with one other technician helping) came well-prepared did a very professional and quick job finishing everything in one day. I called them a few days later to complain about a minor issue (a duct patch). Edward came shortly after my call and fixed the problem. Overall - a very positive experience.

THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN WAS VERY POLITE AND FRIENDLY. HE DID A THOROUGH CHECK OF OUR GAS FURNACE AND THE CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONER. THE TECHNICIAN WORE BOOTIES OVER HIS BOOTS IN ORDER TO KEEP OUR HOUSE CLEAN WHICH I THOUGHT WAS VERY CONSIDERATE.
