Recent Review: This review should probably be three separate reviews, but I think it shows my trust in Vernon using him multiple times. He came out to give me a quote on a new gas water heater and relocating it about 8 feet over in the basement. The price was reasonable and he provided me the water heater information so I could see it's reviews beforehand. While installing my water heater, my tenant called and said the AC was not working. So, after completing the install and his other stops that day, Vernon went over later that day to take a look. The repair required a new part, so a few days later he repaired the AC and I had him replace a leaking pressure valve while he was there. About a month later, a house I renovated needed some repair work on a leaky drain before settlement (he was not the initial installer). Vernon went into that crawlspace and repaired the pipe and provided the appropriate documentation so we could get to settlement in time. I had Hamilton Plumbing and HVAC do work at my home, my rental, and then my house flip. I plan to have Vernon come back to run a gas line when I install a gas fireplace and again when I do my basement bathroom.

Recent Review: The provider was on time for both the estimate and the actual installation.  At one point between the two, it looked as if we might have to postpone because of an unrelated issue.  Jim was very willing to work with us...though we ended up actually being able to go on the scheduled date.  Both installers were pleasant, efficient, and very knowledgeable.  They installed both lines and inserts, cleaned up the area, and did all in record time!

Recent Review: They were a very good company. Their price was very fair and was the amount they estimated in the beginning. So far everything is working just fine. The way they communicated was very well. It is kind of like a Mom and Pop shop where there is one person at a desk that dispatches the work out. I never had any trouble getting a hold of them. The quality of their work was really good and they were on time and I would give them an A grade for that. I would use them again in the future.

Reviews in Fallston to Repair Gas Line

AEhrhardt Brothers Quality Plumbing, Inc
I was replacing electric stove to gas range. Hence needed a new gas line to the kitchen. Mike came in, installed the new gas line to the kitchen. Cleared all the inspections necessary. And hooked the new gas range. The service was good and satisfactory.

APATARINI PLUMBING
Paul installed the water and waste lines for a sink and a washing machine for us and also the gas lines for a gas fireplace and grill. He was quick, efficient, very clean with the work area, and incredibly pleasant to work with. He always arrived promptly and his prices were very good. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would highly recommend him.

We decided to take advantage of free gas line installation from BGE, so we got the multiple estimates from different vendors. PlumbCrazy gave us a fair price, with an itemized estimate, so we could request the work based on our budget. First, they ran the gas line from the meter location and installed the manifold in preparation for inspection from BGE. The plumber was on time and requested the BGE inspection. The test revealed some imperfection in the gas line installation, so PlumbCrazy sent the technician back out directly. After their repairs, we passed the final inspection from the BGE. Then, BGE installed the gas meter line. That done, we got our first gas appliance, a gas stove, and called the company to run the gas line from the manifold and install the stove. Steve kept his original estimate and did great work. I really love working with them. They were nice, on time, and very responsible about their work.

AMcAllister Plumbing Inc
I can't praise this company enough. After purchasing an auctioned property I quickly learned that getting the gas turned on was going to be my biggest and most expensive obstacle. I spent days contacting and meeting with every local plumbing company I could find on the internet. Every company told me that the process would take several weeks and it would cost me well over a thousand dollars. In a last ditch effort I returned to google in the hopes that I could find someone who could help me. After posting a brief description on the McAllister Plumbing homepage I received a call from a gentlemen named Shawn. Shawn couldn't of been more knowledgeable of the service I was requesting and immediately quoted me a price that was almost half of what every other plumbing company quoted me. He then forwarded me to a lady named Terri who updated me on every step throughout the process. Shawn and Terri take the phrase well-oiled machine to a whole new level. They turned what I initially thought was going to be my biggest and most expensive obstacle into a piece of cake. I challenge anyone out there to find a more competent company. McAllister Plumbing is the only company you need to know when it comes to plumbing.

Ken Griffin Plumbing did an excellent job with our gas line. They even helped us resolve some of the problems we were experiencing with BGE. They are extremely knowledgeable, patient and reasonably priced.

He was fantastic and very honest.  Instead of charging me an arm and a leg and promising that he could do something he could not, he explained the situation to me and advised me of what to do.

ALen The Plumber
We had a gas leak & the gas company showed up to turn off the gas.  We called another plumber (who supposedly had a 24-hour service) and waited 7 hours with no heat or hot water before calling Len the Plumber.  They had a guy there within the hour.  He checked out the gas line and said he needed to order parts (it's an old iron line and it was 6 pm by the time he got there).  Because there was no coupling nearby, he mentioned a large section of pipe would have to be removed (the guy from BGE warned me of this, so it was no surprise).  He drew up the estimate, which I approved immediately and said he'd be back in the morning.  At 7 a.m. the dispatcher called and said 2 other plumbers would be sent over because our guy had to go on another emergency call.  I've since forgotten their names, but they were both courteous, professional and prompt.  We went over the gas line situation, I told them we had just bought the house and mentioned there was some other work that needed to be done.  They gave me all the time and attention I wanted as I showed them all of the other things that needed to be fixed (but wasn't expecting to get a plumber to do it for a few weeks).  While one worked on the gas line repair, the other drew up another estimate for all the work.  I approved the estimate and left them to do the work.  They worked smartly, disassembling the pipes while they were there; getting the supplies they needed (and the new sink) while they were out on lunch.  By the end of the day all the work was done; an orderly array of new lines, valves and vents replaced the hodge-podge of pipes that had been there before.  They did great work and drew me up an estimate for replacing the water heater (which is old and probably on it's last legs).  In retrospect, I thought they were a little on the high side regarding price, but the promptness of the service and the quality of their work made it worth it. To me, paying a little more for a job done right (and having a rapid response when you don't have any heat) is a no brainer.

I needed a new gas line run from the gas manifold to my new gas dryer. They ran about 30 feet of corrugated gas line to the dryer and attached the corrugated line to black steel gas pipe with a shut off valve to the dryer. They tested the line for leaks and and and even labeled the rest of the gas lines by the gas manifold by what they went to in the basement. I thought it was really nice of them to do that. It was a small gesture but the details are the things you remember about a great service provider!
