Reviews in College Park to Install Outdoor Kitchen
BGreen Future Construction
8 week project turned into 6 months. Joey (salesman) was excellent and kept on top of the project...sadly, the company did not support him. Some delays due to materials problems beyond their control but many days / weeks where the materials were sitting in the driveway an no one would show up to work . Final product turned out well but it took lots of rework and much longer than expected to complete.

A Mr. Handyman of Northern Virginia - Arlington to Haymarket
Our toilet refused to fill by itself. Chris Call came and found what part was needed, got the right part and installed it. Thankfully, it works now! Chris was very professional and helpful in determining what was needed and offering suggestions.

ANicely Done Kitchens & Baths
Great! The NDK team was led by Kate Couchman, and she and they did a wonderful job. The kitchen and the butler's pantry adjacent to the kitchen were all remodeled, and all of the contributors to the effort were excellent. First, I think, is that the finished product looks like what you thought it should look like, or better, and it does - it looks a lot better. Second, was the price quoted accurate and/or did it change (that is, go up)j as work was being performed. And the answer is No - everything was done according to plan and at the agreed upon price. And third, did we get good value for our money? Absolutely! The custom cabinetry work, the installation of the cabinetry, the electrical work, the work on the backsplash, the plumbing work, the hardwood floor addition, and the management and logistics for this work were all perfection. If the question is asked, would we do it again, the answer is Yes. And further, are we happy with and proud of the way our kitchen looks as a result of the work that was done by NDK: Yes. And would we recommend NDK to our neighbors and friends: Yes!

AVirginia Kitchen & Bath
Summary: Virginia Kitchen and Bath was not the lowest price option based on estimates we received, but they did offer us the best value for the price. In the end, they completed the work well and rather quickly, including returning to address small issues once we lived with the new changes for a few days. We are happy with the results and are way too excited to use our new bathroom tomorrow! Detail: We had a leak inside our home that affected the master bathroom as well as the room below, which happened to be the kitchen. This means we had some coverage of costs from our home insurance provider. VKB was one of several companies we had out to look at the job and provide an estimate. They made the cut (down to 3 options) based on the written estimate we received and our initial impressions - responsiveness, attention to detail and demeanor of the representative - and that led us to a showroom visit. We'd opted to get estimates for additional work in the same rooms that was not covered by our insurance as well as some other rooms to potentially complete projects we were working toward, anyway. This landed the VKB project to a remodel of our master bath and repainting & reflooring of the kitchen. We worked with Burak for the initial estimate, design and contract signing. He had a great personal recall of what our home looked like when we visited the showroom. We never felt rushed to make choices, even when other customers came in behind us. Burak was very attentive to our preferences and was not afraid to make recommendations. VKB has some standard payment schedule information that is provided up front as well as a templated estimate process that they use. It should be noted that VKB does not provide paint, but did send us to a provider where we could have a discount. The payment schedule was nice to have for planning purposes. The templated estimate made it virtually impossible for VKB to meet the documentation requirements for the insurance company. This meant that justification for increasing the low-ball reimbursement we received from the adjustor could not be sufficiently provided and we're unlikely to recoup the additional costs for the covered work. On the plus side, their approach is to offer a full package that trumps whatever you had previously. I feel like this is what we got with the master bath! The team that came to our home was efficient and friendly. The work was led by Alejandro and our project manager was Sertac. They completed all (let's say 95%) of the work in about 9-10 days, including a Saturday, which was impressive. (So many companies will not do projects on Saturday!) We did wait an additional week or so for the shower door to be created/installed and then we asked them to return for a small punch list of corrections. We expected the shower door delay because we were told that up front. No surprise there! During execution, we had some minor scheduling issues that generally amount to miscommunication or lack thereof. The largest consequence was that we lost access to the kitchen earlier than we'd expected based on the plan laid out early on, causing us to purchase more restaurant meals than we'd planned for previously (and lost opportunity to use some groceries). We had a close call when all of our kitchen contents had been set outside for a couple of days and rain came up in the forecast. Alejandro and the team hustled to keep the work on track and spare ruining the displaced items in the process. Sertac was always attentive to our concerns and had a good attention to detail. He helped ensure some other parallel work we had going could be accommodated. Normally, we wouldn't have had multiple companies at the same time, but there was a scheduling hiccup that couldn't be avoided. This did not hamper VKB one bit. We will definitely consider VKB for future projects, possibly not bothering to go through the estimate process all over again!

AExpert Handyman & Remodeling
I hired them to remodel my basement. And then added the kitchen and the bathroom. Mr. Kabir was very professional and responsive to all if my requests. He was very professional and immediately took care any of my concerns. Good team, quality work, great price per quality.

GREAT! We went to the home show and talked to three different contractors. They all came out to the house and spent time talking to us about what we wanted. OHI rose to the top! Gary's years of experience, knowledge and easy going demeanor really made it an easy decision. With a job this size things cropped up but our weekly meeting with the project coordinator, Steve, kept us well informed. When things happened, they were always immediately addressed and resolved. The crew performing the work was quick, efficient and polite--they were always aware they were in our home and treated it with respect. I have already recommended OHI to several friends looking to have work done in their homes and will continue to do so.

AGraves Design & Remodeling Inc
We chose Graves because the estimate Tom provided was much more detailed and thorough than any other we received. Also, Tom came up with some innovated ideas that we had not thought of. The design ideas by Caroline were awesome and turned out great. Throughout the process, the communication with Graves was always easy and straightforward. There were no hidden fees or extra costs. The price they quoted was the price we paid. Doug Graves was on the job site daily and he took over some of the most detailed aspects of the project and completed them himself. They came back and completed all of the follow up items quickly and within the projected timeline. They are true professionals.

AMega Kitchen and Bath
Replaced kitchen cabinets, installed new appliances and quartz countertops with tile backsplash, tore down and rebuilt attached family room, added island to kitchen, replaced flooring with hardwood and upgraded electrical in both rooms, new lighting in family room, refinished wood floors in all downstairs rooms, upgraded electrical service to 200A, ran new circuit to garage. Work began immediately after Thanksgiving and most work completed and appliances installed Dec 23rd just in time for holidays. Work was done quickly, efficiently and professionally, trash constantly removed, foreman was always available and immediately responsive during this time. We were required to purchase new appliances ourselves which they installed, which we preferred. 1/3 payment required upfront, 1/3 when work started and the remainder when work was substantially completed and rooms livable (their definition). The contract allowed 10% of that final payment to be held back until all work listed and priced in the contract was completed. Although that seemed to be a lot to pay before work was completed, I correctly believed they could be trusted to complete the work quickly and properly. When mistakes were made which occasionally happened (e.g. a light wouldn't turn off and the range hood wouldn't vent), they returned immediately to correct the problem. All the contractors and subcontractors were professional, polite and helpful.

AKBR Kitchen & Bath
Armagan was a pleasure to work with from the estimate through the entire process. He was quite helpful in his suggestions and very professional in his work. KBR's quote was very competitive and their estimate on how long the work would take was easily the shortest of all the estimates we received. The work crew was led by Javier and they did a fine job and finished within the estimated time. We've enjoyed the kitchen for over two years now and we are still very pleased with the results. We had one problem with the installed faucet as it started to leak a ittle over a year after the remodeling was complete. We contacted KBR about it and within hours they had someone come out to the house and install a new faucet - superb customer service.

AMichael Nash Design Build & Homes
The remodel went very well. Everyone we dealt with at Michael Nash Design Build & homes were professional, talented and creative. The showroom is spectacular with so many choices, colors, textures and styles for every room in your home. The Project Manager and his crews were very experienced and meticulous in the reconfiguring of some of the space in our home. The kitchen was modernized with a beautiful stone backsplash and gorgeous cabinets, along with a wonderful island. The main floor bathroom was reconfigured to better utilize the space, which allowed us to enlarge existing storage and have a built-in pantry constructed. With the purchase of stackable washer and dryer, we were able to have an additional storage space created. Our master bathroom was completely reconfigured. They took an old and tired space and completely brought it back to life. It’s so beautiful. It is a very peaceful, elegant space. We also had a fabulous porcelain plank floor installed throughout the house. It looks like reclaimed wood in pale shades of grays and brown. Everyone compliments the unique and stylish look that flows through the house. The project ran smoothly and we were able to contact the appropriate individuals at Michael Nash when we had any questions or concerns. We were kept informed on the status of the progress throughout the entire project. I would recommend Michael Nash Design Build & homes to anyone who is looking to update, upgrade or remodel. I will definitely use them again.
