Recent Review: Our project was a complete gutting and remodelling of our kitchen and one bathroom, converting an existing bedroom into two bathrooms, and upgrading the entire house's electrical system. We got proposals from three companies and selected Pegasus because their proposal was the most detailed, the price was very competitive, and we felt comfortable with Geoff. We had to fit the remodeled kitchen into the existing footprint, which imposed some "interesting" constraints on the design. Jane came up with a wonderful design which we love. Schedule: Pegasus kept very close to the original schedule for the planned work, which was great, and they constantly kept us updated on schedule changes.  Resolviing the punchlist ended up taking more time than we expected, but it didn't affect the livability of our house at all. Change orders: Pegasus was extremely accomodating about change orders and priced them fairly.       Workmanship and workers: In general the workmanship was very good, with a few exceptions noted below.  Mike was a pleasure to work with, very professional, organized, and competant.  The other workers were also great, their work was high quality and needed a minimal amount redone.  Work seemed well organized and the house was left in a livable condition every night.      Communications: Overall communication was good; occasionally there were issues with miscommunication or lapses in communication, but these were always easily resolved to our satisfaction.    The good and the bad: Pegasus acheived the most important things to us - on time and on budget. They are honest and great to work with, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Along the way a few things could have been done better (the laundry closet doors didn't open widely enough), some work was performed in an order that led to re-work for fix small problems, and we might haved slightly moved some things had we been consulted before they were installed.  Our biggest issue was with our kitchen floor.  Some combination of our materials choice, quality of installation, and preparation of the subfloor, left us unhappy with the floor.  Due to some unusual circumstances, even though Pegasus offered to do so, we decided not to redo the floor. Nevertheless, Pegasus resolved the situation to our satisfaction. Pegasus' great plus is that they wanted us to be happy and they willing to change stuff until we loved it.

Recent Review: When Scott came to see give the estimate, I was impressed with how he took his time to listen to the work that I needed to have done. He also explained to me what he and his crew would do with each aspect of the job. Scott told me that his rate was $50 per hour for each person. I received a complete itemized estimate of each job and I thought his prices were fair. I asked Scott for names of referrals for people who have had tile work done by him and also drywall work done by him. He supplied these names and phone numbers and I contacted these referrals. The referrals that I contacted were so happy with the work, one person wanted me to see her home or send me photos , so I knew I had chosen the right person. It was so refreshing to work with Scott and his crew. Scott always kept me informed on when they would arrive and when they were returning and he kept to that schedule. They even came on a Saturday. I am so satisfied with the quality of the workmanship in every aspect of this job. Most days, I was home during the day while the work was being done and I felt very comfortable with all of the guys that Scott had working with him. Scott would inspect the work when they finished for the day. While working on the water-stained wall in the master bedroom a mold issue was discovered. This involved more work, more time and more materials for Scott. I had even offered to pay him more money for that job but he told me he was not going to change the bill. I was doing a kitchen rennovation - I had new granite installed and an off white sub-way tile backsplash installed. I had asked Scott's crew to clean, sand and paint all of my dark oak kitchen cabinets an off-white color. Once the granite was installed, I was having second thoughts and I was wondering how the off-white painted cabinets would contrast to the granite and backsplash. I did not mention this to Scott. When the crew arrived, I went out all day and when I returned home later that afternoon, they told me that they did not want to start painting the cabinets because they just didn't. think that light color cabinets would compliment the granite and my 20 year old oak cabinets were a perfect match and contrast. They told me what to get to clean them, and they look wonderful. I was very happy that they had that suggestion. When the job was finished, Scott reminded me that if anything comes up, just t call him. There is a one year warranty on all of the work. This has been my best home improvement project ever. Reviews for Kitchen Remodeling in Danvers

The provider wasn't a match; we had a design idea already in mind, the company was more focused on the design as opposed to the construction.

AG.M. Roth Design Remodeling, Inc
We were surprised to find our cost expectations for a kitchen remodel were a little on the low side, but since we had no previous design and build experience, we chose G.M. Roth because they could handle the job from start to finish. They took that pressure off of us and they delivered a beautiful result. Sharon Sargent, the designer, helped us make the best use of our space. Together we came up with a floor plan and made the selections for the cabinets, countertops and tile as well as all the other supporting decisions like lights, faucet, ceiling fan, and switches. She always made herself available to meet us at store locations to look over tile or offer to come with us to look at flooring and lights. We did not agree on every design decision but the result was ultimately a joint effort. We wouldn't have the kichen we have now without her input and experience. The Senior Project Manager, Jim Lambert, met with us and took us through the construction process, what the daily routine would be, when the contractors would be there, how they would perform the work and the precautions they would take to insure no collateral damage would occur. The Project Manager, Nick Penella, was the guy who handled the day-to-day, was there to meet the other contractors, did the carpentry and helped us through the post construction punch list. He was the first to arrive and the last to leave. Was always available to answer my questions by phone or text. Always made sure we were happy with the work. There was some additional work required on the plumbing since the house was not up to current code. He was great, making some excellent suggestions regarding placement of our water filtration system and duct work for the range hood, freeing up even more cabinet space. The electrician wired new boxes and outlets and ran a new line into the electrical box downstairs. The painter squeezed us into his busy schedule before having to take a work trip up north. The floor installer was amazing, measuring the kitchen, cutting the floor back at the office and then coming back a short time later to lay out the one piece floor which fit - perfectly. The only contractor-related issue we had was related to the tile install. They have since come back twice to help remedy the problem. It isn't completely resolved yet, but they honestly are working with me to correct it and I feel fairly confident they will. One cabinet was damaged during shipping and though we had to put some of the contractors on hold, we were still able to complete the job on the day they we agreed upon. There were a couple of punch list items that were taken care of by Nick afterwards but weren't a big deal. Downsides? They only allowed us a $10K max on a credit card. we were unable to use any existing contractors (had we wanted the option), they didn't hold to in-person weekly meetings which was specified in the contract (but they were always available to answer questions), we weren't notified when PM was pulled nor introduced to the new one, and they never reached out to us. Perfect? No, but professional, clean, courteous and we love the results. Would I recommend G.M Roth? Absolutely. I love our new kitchen, even the pictures don't do it justice. No company is perfect, and it is partially the client's responsibility to make sure they are heard.

AMDA Painting and Handymen
Marcelo was very professional and made my kitchen look like new with very little investment. Very satisfied with the detailed and clean work. After that we already had him coming to help us with smaller projects, all went pretty well with schedule, costs and materials involved. Highly recommend!!

AE. Greaves construction
The work was done quickly and of high quality. The work crew left the work area clean at the end of each day allowing us to use the kitchen area at night. Ed was very professional and went over all aspects of what the job entailed and made very useful suggestions, things we had not thought of. I was very satisfied how things progressed and kept to the schedule. Questions I had were promptly answered and any issues I had were taken care of in a timely manner. It was pleasant experience and I would not hesitate to have Ed do any other work I might have.

I hired them to remove an old illegal in-law kitchen in the home, remove the plumbing, and then remodel the main kitchen in the home. Everything went as expected! They did a good job and I am content with the final outcome of the project and will definitely consider them for any upcoming projects.

ABauman Remodeling
My wife and I decided to do a major kitchen renovation which consisted of joining two rooms. We had many contractors come to look at our job and we discussed the look we wanted and a load bearing wall being removed. All the contractors agreed that it was impossible to join the two rooms to obtain the look we wanted except for Mike Bauman . Mike assured us that his team would be able to hide a beam (lvl) above the ceiling and lay out the kitchen to make it more functional. His meticulous approach to the job and craftsmanship was apparent immediately. His foreman Chris worked tirelessly with my wife and I with insight and knowledge of construction to add custom touches to the final product. After hearing so many horror stories about renovations that went bad, I felt fortunate that we hired Bauman remodeling. I felt that Mike in the crew were passionate about making sure the customer was happy and would always be available to answer our never ending e-mails and phone calls. At the end the kitchen came out amazing and on budget . I would highly recommend Bauman construction and would not hesitate to hire them again .
