He put the railing up and right after he did that the bottom part of the railing fall off, he didn’t put any braces in between the rail.  The weight in the middle made it pull away from the column. He never finished painting either.  I’ve tried getting him to finish the work and he hasn’t shown up.

Thomas previously did some caulking and grout work for me in the past. At the time, he advised me that he also did carpentry and woodwork. He replaced the handrail on the back porch steps that had rusted out with a new wood rail. Thomas is professional, courteous, on-time, and very skilled. I intend on having him repair/replace some fencing around the yard. Pricing is fair and reasonable. I highly recommend.

He had by far the least expensive quote and great quality of work. He communicated well, and kept me updated at every step of the way. Provided all of the materials, completed the work promptly and cleaned up well. Would definitely hire again!!

Wonderful!! OM&T first sends out a rep to assess what your needs are. They have a variety of skilled workers who work for them. So they don’t send an electrician or plumber to replace deck boards. Once your needs are assessed and how many workers it will take to complete the job he will send an estimate. I have been very satisfied with the prices - the quality of work and the workers. My various jobs averaged about $450 each. The latest for cutting up the hot tub and hauling it off took 2 workers 2 hours for $480.

AWill I Am Painting Contractor LLC
Mr. Will and his entire crew were phenomenal. We did our homework before choosing a painting contractor, and we are so very glad that we chose Mr. Will! Before painting the exterior of our home, he and his crew worked meticulously to prepare the house for painting. They power washed, sanded, caulked, replace rotting boards, and corrected other insulation issues. What truly amazed (and pleased) me as a homeowner was how the crew completely cleaned up at the end of every day. The job took probably a solid 5/6 days to complete (the prep work taking most of the time) and, on each of those days, his crew was so diligent about cleaning up and organizing their equipment so as to be minimally disruptive. The painting job was also of the highest quality- you can tell the Mr. Will and his crew have their system down pat and do not cut corners. Mr. Will and his crew completely repainted the exterior of the home, the trim, railings, porch, and the piers. Since we had the house painted, we've had complete strangers (as well as neighbors) walk by our home and compliment us on the work. Finally, Mr. Will worked tirelessly to make sure that every single item we were concerned about was addressed along the way. He kept saying that he would not leave until we were completely satisfied. Mr. Will- we are completely satisfied! Thank you for taking such good care of our home.

AKerner Construction & Renovation LLC
Mr. Kerner was very professional, courteous, and so was any helper he brought in with him. He did a wonderful job, was meticulous and did not cut corners.  He stayed long hours, making sure to fulfill deadlines,  cleaned up the work area when the job was finished.  His work is impressive, strong structures, careful details.  After he was done, he even was conscientious to the point of organizing the wood leftovers that would be picked up for discard by  the main contractor crew (which operate the trailer and remove the debris from the jobsite), to make it easier for them and to make the yard less cluttered for us.  Even when the contractor forgot to give him some essential information, that affected the angle in which the staircase needed to be done (to leave room for installation of a medical lift to be coming later on), causing him to have to dismantle part of the structure and rebuild it, Mr. Kerner never manifested discontentment, keeping to himself any frustration that anyone would feel in his place, having to undo and redo part of his work - which is no ta  common quality I have found with contractors, usually very vocal and not too careful about it - He was always mindful of his language, which was  very considerate and respectful, and I would, and will, consider him for any job we may need done in the future.

AWill I Am Painting Contractor LLC
I contacted Will I Am for a quote for some work I needed completed within a week.  He gave me an estimate of the cost after seeing what I needed to have done.  The price seemed reasonable so I hired them when he assured me he would have the work done by my deadline.  They did an outstanding job.  I appreciate them so much getting the work done for me timely.  My house looks so refreshed and nice.  Just in time for spring. I will definitely call them for any work I need around my house in the future.

The 2 men who repaired our deck, fixed the laundry area doorway and hung my heavy art pieces on porch came in Nov. or Dec 2015. They were both knowledgeable, professional and fast workers. One of them had to go buy the porch railing board and the bolts needed to install the two art pieces. They were not comfortable removing the two huge pieces of mirror that were glued behind my bar area and were honest enough to tell me that. They called Barry Hymel, the man who initially came out and gave me an estimate for all the work, for advice and assistance. Barry came back to house to look at the issue, and recommended that his drywall man come fix the wall behind the bar. I had done some research on the best way to remove mirror that large, and my husband and I took a couple of days and taped the entire mirror surface with duct tape. Barry actually returned with the dry wall man and helped remove the mirrors. We all held our breath as it was pried away from the sheetrock and hauled out... none of it broke - I was impressed!! The sheetrock and a section of our ceiling (popcorn!) was repaired to perfection! I am calling them again if I need more work done!

The office was not an  easy job because the sub floor was so badly sloped. Chris worked very hard to level the floor before he laid  the tiles. He did a fantastic job. He also had to remove a bookcase which was attached to the wall. He put the bookcase back together and replaced it. The room is beautiful. Chris also did a wonderful job on the porch railing. He is very skilled at carpentry. My front porch is no longer embarrassing. He also paints beautifully. He repaired the kitchen ceiling after one of the light fixtures just fell late one evening. This summer we contracted with Chris to pull up the carpet in a bedroom and lay down a laminate floor. He also painted the walls  and the woodwork. Once again I was very pleased with the results. He also finished on time, which was very important. Chris is also very honest. I feel comfortable leaving my key for him when I can't be home. He is very skilled and very reasonable.   I recommend him wholeheartedly. You will not be sorry. He makes renovation as easy as possible.

I was in a rush to have the job completed (to meet compliance with my insurance provider. Jeff found an opening in his schedule and came over and completed the job in one long afternoon (just days after I first contacted him). The job was very well done, and he cleaned up after finishing. I couldn't be more satisfied.

Recent Review: I rarely write reviews for anything. Have hired before using Angie's List. The last contractor did a good job but the service was terrible and price too high. NOT SO WITH CARY! This guy is amazing. He responds to your first email, shows up for the walk through, gives a great contract and spells out what he will do for what price and when he will start and, amazingly, actually shows up when he says he will and does the work he says he is going to do and does it fantastically well. Let's you know when he is coming and going, doesn't leave a mess. The cynic in me wonders why his license has not been revoked. After the deck and new railing (it looks fantastic) he came back for a bunch of piddly jobs -- painting, touch up, ceilings, some electrical and, once again, showed up on time, did the work and finished on time. Hire this guy. I have lived here for 12 years and he is by far the best person I have had work on my house.
