Versailles Asphalt Shingle Roof Installation

Roof looks good, but damaged gutters in process and have not returned calls to have them fixed. One of the roof vents from my bathroom was completely covered over, and now vents in to my attic. Numerous migrant workers left without supervision, unable to answer questions about progress due to language barrier. Left nails and detritus around entire house, gutters clogged with trash. Charged another $200 more than promised estimate.

Superb! Personable, concerned, responsible! They protected the plantings around the house, preventing debris from crushing the shrubs and plants, they cleaned up every little thing, they worked so fast it was a blur, and they called to see if I was happy.

Came by the same day and repaired several roof shingles damaged by wind. Also measured the roof and gave esimate on roof replacement. Plan to use them to do the reroofing job sometime this year.

We needed to replace the roof of a late family members house before listing for sale. The roof needed replaced due to age and leaks. Mr. Howard provided a very reasonable estimate to remove several layers of old shingles and replace with new. The job was completed within the promised timeframe and at the agreed price.

They were paid, didn't finish the job, abandoned their trash trailer here for over 1 week, the roof leaks, and they aren't returning our calls.

A co-worker had recommended Bone Dry Roofing so I checked Angie's List and saw others had given great reviews as well.  I had several roof shingles that needed to be resealed so I decided to give them a call for an estimate.  We set an appointment for the next day and I liked his price so much that I had him do the job right then.  He did a fabulous job.  He was prompt, did the work quickly and professionally.   I highly recommend this company whether you have a big job or a small job.

Ken Evans at Odessa Roofing provided great price, service, punctuality, quality, and was very professional in all of my dealings. Would highly recommend him and his staff to anyone looking for roofing, remodeling done on there home here in Central KY.  Ken was honest in his dealings with me and I appreciated how easy it was to business with him.  His crew was in and out and done with my home in one business day.  They left no mess behind whatsoever around my entire property.  I was very pleased with the results on the shingle roof job done at my residence.  I would highly recommend Odessa to anyone. 

My roof received wind damage from a storm that year and I figured it would be a good time to replace the roof. I'd been wanting to go w/ a metal roof so I got three estimates.  Jody Shadbolt at Certified Roofing had the lowest bid. The first thing that went wrong was one of the workers slipped and slid down the roof damaging the vent pipe to the kitchen. They were not wearing harnesses and lanyards. The stack actually saved him from a nasty fall. I was told that the stack merely came loose and they just had to stick it back in. Later that day it was leaning. Next day they caulked it up and finished the roof. We had some strong winds about two weeks later and the foam inserts they used under the ridge cap blew out. They came back and caulked them in. Within a few weeks after that the stack started to lean again and leak inside the house when it rained along with two other spots. They also put a metal roof on my shed and some nails started to pop (supposed to be using screws) and a corner bent up from wind. I did some research on the roof mfg website and found multiple errors they made on the installation. They attempted again to repair the vent stack and apply vast amounts of caulk to stop the leaks. Two of the leaks stopped but the vent stack leak I had to fix myself by putting a cap on it. The stack had broken where it made a right turn into a rafter; and though they were able to finally get it to stop leaning, they couldn't get the joint to not leak. They also bent my gutter in the process of fixing the stack because they don't have a stand-off to keep their ladders from resting on the gutters. They did replace that section of gutter but it leaks at the joint. I finally filed a complaint w/ the BBB, because it got to were he wouldn't return my calls. Two days before the hearing Mr Shadbolt calls and wants to make things right. He came out and we went over some things. He sent a crew out to rectify some issues. They still didn't get it right. My roof is leaking again and though i tried to contact him; I received no response. In a way I hope this gets him out here; and in a way I hope it doesn't because it seems whenever they come out to fix something, it gets worse. Also, he promised a LIFETIME WARRANTY ON WORKMANSHIP-HA!
