ABUTCH'S HEATING & SUPPLY
It's always in the middle of the summer when your air conditioner breaks down, the time of year when you need it most. I'm originally from Minnesota where we never had to use our air conditioner, so this weather seems crazy hot to me. We work on a farm and sweat through our shirts through the entire day. You have to have an air conditioner during the hot and humid summers of Kentucky. We gave Butch a call and he came out right away. As it turns out a widget was broken and he happened to have one on him! He just replaced the widget and the air conditioner was working again within twenty minutes! The air conditioner has been working great since then and if it breaks down again this summer, he will be the first one I call.

The tech arrived on time and performed the service check. He was professional and quick without taking shortcuts. He even found the batteries in the thermostat were weak and replaced them.

AChuck's Heating & Air Conditioning Inc
Installation went great. Chuck's team ran new plumbing from the HVAC system to the brand new Goodman condenser outside. The slab was leveled and properly placed outside. It looks great, and more importantly cools the house greatly! It's so great to have a new A/C installed by the best in the business.

The entire experience we well, they did their job very well replacing a thermostat for the air conditioner. I can't complain at all about the service, but the price was over the top.

AAir-Max Heating & Cooling, Inc
Air conditioner fried after a power surge. Keith came out and checked my unit in a lightening storm at 9:00 p.m. on a Saturday when everyone else I called told me it would be Monday before they would come. Could have repaired my old unit but for a little extra chose to get a new unit with a 10 year guarantee. It was installed and working in just a few hours on Monday. Good job!

I think that they were very professional and spent a lot of time with us. We had a lot of questions because we had never purchased a new air conditioner before and so they were here 4 hours with me just going over the different kinds of air conditioners and explaining to me and going through the house and doing the assessment of what we actually needed and going to be the most efficient for our house. They are very thorough.

We bought a service contract with them, and I like that they are prompt and organized. We had a problem with the humidifier and they found out that there was a recall on it, so they brought us a new one and installed it. We will continue to use their services in the future because we have a maintenance contract with them.
Recent Review: Great service...had another company out several times last year on a unit less than 3 years old. Mr. Oliver had us up and running within an hour and no problems since. Very nice and professional. He will now be my go to when I need HVAC service.
Recent Review: I bought a house recently and after the first month here I realized that the A/C seemed to run an awful lot and I couldn't figure out where the filter was to change it. I heard Hiller's radio ad and called them to come check my system out. When the techs arrived they were in two trucks which seemed like a lot for an initial check up but I found that one was a plumbing tech who tested my plumbing and cleaned out the hot water heater at no cost, this immediately gained kudos from me. I was also impressed that both gentlemen put on booties like you wear in an operating room so that they weren't tracking dirt into the house. The initial inspection took a bit over an hour and was very thorough, he looked at the A/C unit, the duct work, the crawl space, and each vent and return in the house. He then presented me with an itemized list of things that was grouped by the urgency with which they needed to be repaired/replaced. He was careful to explain why each thing was listed and what was absolutely needed versus what would be a good upgrade if were interested. I didn't have to make any decisions at that point but the comfort specialist (sales guy) came over shortly afterwards and we worked up a dollar amount for 4 different plans ranging from total overhaul to just enough to make it through the next summer or two. I have a friend out of state who does A/C work and I ran all of the options by him before committing, just to make sure that I wasn't being quoted some crazy sky-high price and he said that he was impressed with the price quoted for the full replacement that I opted for. We replaced the downstairs unit and duct work, installed an upstairs unit and duct work with new registers (couldn't use the existing since it was designed for a single system and came up through the walls), installed 2 new electronic programable thermostats, UV filters, and ozone generators all for $18,000. The crew took just under 5 days to do the whole job and exercised extreme care when moving equipment throughout the house to make sure they didn't damage any walls or belongings. I received two follow up visits and 2 follow up phone calls within the 10 days after the job was completed and haven't found any problems or flaws yet. Everything works exactly as they said it would. I definitely recommend trusting Hiller with your Heating and A/C work.

Recent Review: Terrible. Was told the job was only going to take a day and a half and it was at least six weeks. Many days they were complete no show when they said they would work. when they would arrive they would only work a few hours and then be gone several hours and we're completely insensitive to the customers time. They finally got our heat on around 1 in the morning. If they would have arrived on time that day it would have been finished before 5. Very, very frustrating to deal with. Installed the wrong furnace but then all I got was an apology. When I called American Standard about this and they found out, they threatened to remove the equipment that they had partially installed as retaliation. True, I saved money on the installation but it was probably the most aggravating professional contact I've ever had.
