Recent Review: This was my first remodel and although I did my hw before starting project, I still learned a lot. I chose this company because I trusted them to work in my home without residential supervision and I expected high quality work. Strengths: trustworthy, skilled, professional, craftsmen, customer satisfaction, end result is beautiful kitchen and bathroom remodel Areas for Growth: communication and realistic timeline Overall rating would have been an A, except for a couple of communication issues.
Recent Review: Overall experience was outstanding. Louisville Cabinets and Countertops completely gutted the entire bath, provided a picture perfect look while still offering a very reasonable price with excellent workmanship. Also remodeled kitchen with all new cabinets, granite countertops and sink. The quality of the products, service and work performed exceeded my expectations. The owner, Tim Montgomery , was very easy to work with. He listened as well as offering some great suggestions. he was quite experienced and knowledgeable. The company is very professional, provides excellent quality and service at an affordable price.
Hunters provided excellent service ! Owner Robert, Bob, (not sure!) was very professional and went about and beyond. Very pleased with his work. He painted and distressed my kitchen cabinets and I have gotten so many compliments on them! One time he came to do some work when my 15-year-old daughter was home. I was a little nervous about having workers in the house but she said he was so kind and polite with her. That means more to me than anything. I am hiring this company to come back in the fall to install a complete bathroom in my basement. Would recommend to anyone.

BLouisville Handyman & Remodeling
I spoke with the owner at a home remodeling and lawn/gardening show. I had noted their presence at several shows, which to me was a good sign of the company's potential for good work. i spoke with the owner over lunch at the show and had intended to explore further the 3 projects I had in mind, bathroom remodel, kitchen remodel, and construction of a 2000 sq ft shop/garage/storage building. However, after discussion, I felt that the building construction might be beyond the scope of this contractor, so I decided to look elsewhere. It wasn't anything that the owner said or didn't say, just a feeling on my part. In the future, if I have need of a contractor for a remodeling project, I will certainly give Louisville Handyman Inc. another look.

Had the representative in our home to give an estimate. He was very nice and had some good ideas about how to maximize our limited space. He gave us a card and asked us to come visit their showroom. Went to Oxmoor Mall location and could not find showroom. Asked information was told they had left the mall. The rep did not even tell us they were no longer at that location. Went later to the Jefferson Mall location and were not even asked by employee if we needed any help. We had enough of the bad customer service and decided to look elsewhere. Never received a follow-up phone call.

ANew England Home Renovations LLC
,I bought a home on the east side of Providence Last August. It's a great home, But after 60 Years with the same owner it definitely needed some major remodeling. Richard had previously completed some painting, electrical, and roofing work on the house...So i was excited to get started with him. I cannot stress enough how great his team is, he used Licensed plumbers and Electricians...a professional tile guy...and for the cabinet installation and general remodeling I was lucky enough to get his Father-in-Law Bill. A former boat builder and all around great guy. All of the guys that worked on the job were professional, polite and conscientious. I had remodeled a Kitchen in a previous home...and every aspect of this job ...electrical, plumbing, flooring and cabinetry installation beat my previous remodeling experience hands down. Old homes always have their surprises, Richard's team addressed every one of these without any changes to the original estimate. Working with Richard is a joy, he is responsive and professional and personally makes sure every aspect of the job goes well. I had some difficulties with the Cabinet Supplier, and Richard helped me resolve all these issues satisfactorily. If Angies list allowed A+'s Richard would get one in every category.

CScott Slaughter Home Construction
The contractor was recommended by two individuals but I think that he is more experienced with new construction than remodeling. His price was high in that he included a "developers" fee on top of labor that he did himself, so I felt like I got a little reamed. My house has plaster walls and he tried to treat them as drywall and the drywall job he did was pretty shabby. I had to have another person come in and repair the wall and ceilings where he removed a wall because he couldn't ever get it to look right. When I asked him to fix it he simply said that was the best he could do. He was a nice enough guy, punctual but the job started on March 17 and was not finished until May. His subcontractor for the brick work left a mess in the back yard, tried to dump leftover concrete down a hole in my yard and we had to call him to come back and clean it up. The counter top in the kitchen slopes to the corner and water will stand in the corner behind the canisters if I am not careful. It looks like there is maybe mold growing in the grout because of the slope of the countertop. He removed some tile in the bathroom floor between the door and the hallway and never did come back to repair it even though we called. He installed wood windows in the kitchen and the sliding glass doors that had to be painted. He claimed he told me that I could have gotten prefinished windows and doors but I certainly do not recall that. I had to hire a painter to come and paint those and it was a pain. I had told him I would do the painting but did not expect to have to primer and paint the windows and doors. He did not treat the new brick that was installed on the back of the house, claiming that it would need to cure for a few months before sealing and has never gotten back to it.

AThe Carpenter's Son
It went according to their plans. The workers did their duties without interruptions and in a timely manner. Some were scheduled at different times according to their expertise etc. electrician, cabinet builder, etc. Steve was on top of what was being done at all times..The remodeling was to take three week and they finished early. They did an excellent job!
