Recent Review: The folks at Fashion Floors were extremely helpful and did a fantastic job. I called them out to do an estimate for vinyl flooring in my kitchen. I had already removed the old laminate flooring so the subfloor was showing. The gentleman who came to measure for the estimate let me know that due to the damaged places in the subfloor it would need to be replaced so it would actually be cheaper to put laminate flooring back down. I went by the store and they helped me pick out the perfect laminate and their prices were very reasonable. About a week later they were at the house installing the floor. They worked quickly and were very courteous. They even had someone deliver some quarter round from the store because I did not have enough on hand for the whole room. About two days later, I noticed that a small piece of quarter round was not attached to the wall. Guess they ran out of nails because it was a little piece right by the door. There was also a small gap between the nosing and the riser at the stairs. I called and they had someone come out within a few days and fixed both issues. I would definitely recommend Fashion Floors for any flooring needs!

Recent Review: They had done a paint job for me that was satisfactory. I hired them to lay laminate floor because they assured me they had experience with laminate flooring. The paint job was done quickly and satisfactorily so I hired them for the flooring job. They DID NOT know how to lay the floor, they could not even understand or follow the installation instructions that were included in the boxes of flooring. They left the job in a huff because I questioned the amount of scrap I found in their work area as well as the progress and their lack of knowledge. Their mistakes cost me an extra $ 150 in material as well as paying someone to RE DO the whole mess, which will be at least another $350. After two days of blunders they walked off leaving my refridgerator in the Living Room and my range in the laundry room! By the way, if you hire them to paint, the job might be done, but they smoke on the job dropping ashes all over the place!

Recent Review: We had major flooding in the area earlier in the year and my in-laws house had a lot of damage from it necessitating a claim to FEMA. Their subfloors needed to be pulled up and replaced and releveled. The contracter, who is a very nice guy, came in and gave a quote and agreed to do the work during a time that they would be out of town on vacation for an extended period of time. I only live a few miles down the road, so we kept an eye on the progress. It all started out well, they got started when they said they would. We had another major rain storm shortly after they got the floors pulled up and he called me to come over and see some additional problems that they found with the rain, all good, their quote for the additional work was reasonable. However, it was on putting everything back that we began to have problems. Their installation of the laminate flooring was terrible. When they finished and I went over to check it out, I pointed out a major and very obvious installation problem in the middle of the floor and said they needed to fix that which was met with a very snide and rude comment by one of his workers. On further examination of the flooring, walking down the hallway was like stepping from trampeline to trampeline as they had cut the planks too long so that they bowed up in the center. In addijtion, the planks were not put together tightly. They did redo the hallway, but still left one trampeline area in it. I didn't seem like they had a clue on how to work with that kind of flooring. They tried to tell me that you would always have bouncy areas on a floor like that (having personally installed that kind of flooring, I know that not to be true and told them so). Then on to the kitchen... we had them install a dishwasher as a surprise to mom. They had to cut down a cabinet to do so, The installation of the cabinets was terrible. They installed the cabinet at the very end too close and so tried to shove the stove back in, which they did crookedly and now the oven does not work. When we tried the new dishwasher, it leaked all over the new laminate flooring and they electrical that they did installing it was such a poor job that we couldn't even pull the unit out to see where it was leaking from without undoing all the wiring and then rewiring it the right way. It was a brand new machine and it appears that while installing it, they crushed the tube on the side of it and broke it. They did not relevel and shim the counter top and did not brace it in the proper places. Long story short, we have had to call them back out there to redo just about everything that they did. He has been nice about coming back and trying to fix it, but we are having to call him back on over and over to redo it. Nice guy, but no attention to detail and it doesn't appear that he goes back to check on work that his guys have done. He will get no referrals from us or my any of our family and too bad for him as there are four of us living in this area and all of us have construction projects going on or coming up in our homes.

Recent Review: It went very well.  I especially appreciated Jason's advice on the lighting situation. What he suggested  turned out to be much better than what I had originally planned. After we agreed on the paint color and type of flooring, Jason worked with me, described how things would be done, and sent people to do each part of the job. He checked in often to make sure the work was going well. He stuck to the original estimate and got it all done very quickly. Every worker who came in here was respectful and careful not to leave any mess behind. Overall, I am very satisfied.
