Scott and his five-person team are true professionals - knowledgeable, respectful, dependable and very nice people! They built our new 30'x30' screened-in porch as if it belonged to them with solid construction, and beautiful, significant attention to every detail. They also accomplished electrical and gas projects, stained the porch and replaced the roof on our house - incorporating it nicely into the porch roof. All on schedule and in just five weeks! We will only consider Kentucky Lake Remodeling for our home projects henceforth. We highly recommend you do the same.

Tom the handyman was there everyday, whither permitting and wasted no time doing his job and his helpers stayed busy as well.

Initial quote was very competitive.  Estimate to start work ~ 1 month later.  There was a delay, but it was due to Lowe's having a backorder on the moisture shield composite deck railings that matched our decking.  That was the only hiccup with the whole process and was not in Abell's control.  They kept us informed throughout the process.  The crew did a 1st class job on the deck construction.  It was built on 12" centers to make sure that the composite decking does not bow.  Additionally, they took extra care to make sure that the gaps were perfect and boards were straight (this is very difficult with the hidden fasteners).  They installed skirting around the entire deck and it looks fantastic.  Any issues that we pointed out, were quickly addressed. After construction was complete, I had a few screws that must have been bad.  One of the skirt boards was loose.  They came back our and fixed it without any problem. They stand behind their work and build it the way they would want it built for their house.  I can tell you that the deck that I have is far more than the deck that I had them quote.  The fit and finish details exceeded my expectations...and I am very picky.

It went fine. We were really happy with them. They showed up on time when they said they would and they completed the job in less time than I expected. So we were more than happy. We would use them again certainly if we needed any more work on the house.

Good design, but poor execution. Numerous delays. Poor attention to details. Expected better workmanship.

It took over 4 months start to finish. Lots of promises that did not follow through. I always had to be the one to make calls as to when the project would be started only to be told of another made up date. Not until I got a regional manager involved did the process get started. It was a very stressful experience.

He does get started quickly, but he does as little as he can get away with. He did not replace all the rafters on my roof only the ones that he thought needed to be replaced. The job was to do a new roof and porch for an estimate that was lower than the highest estimate that I obtained.

Lexington Deck Repairs & Home Remodeling recently did some home remodeling repairs & also some deck/porch work for our three properties, on-time & as quoted. Excellent work all around. We will absolutely hire again when needed. If only they weren't so busy! Thanks Daniel & crew, absolute professionals!

- They arrived on time on a Friday & we had an estimate on Monday.  They were a little higher than we hoped, but were lower than another company, so we hired them. Communication was good throughout the process, as there were a few delays.  First, the posts were damaged during delivery to their business, so they were re-delivered ASAP & brought out &  installed the day after delivery. The glass panels were installed as soon as they were made.  Unfortunately, 2 panels were too long, due to the bowing of our wood support posts. So those panels were re-cut and installed promptly.  We LOVE our new railing and would hire them again if we have anymore railing or fencing needs. They were all very professional.

Mr. Cooper obtained the supplies and performed the work as scheduled without any delays in construction. The construction was completed in a timely manner, and he was able to match the new roof with the existing one to create the desired appearance. Mr. Cooper was very professional and courteous and gave a seven year guarantee on the roof for leaks. I would recommend Mr. Cooper for any remodeling projects.
