Recent Review: In short, our experience was great. Skip and Robin are both wonderful. Bill and the rest of the guys were very friendly and accommodating. Our house is rather old, and turned out to be full of challenges: previously painted over wall paper, uneven plaster, etc., all of which they took in stride. Most impressive to us was their attention to detail: the painting is impeccable; they evened out wavy portions of the walls, filling cracks and holes; they cleaned our gutters out for no fee; and, they cleaned and replaced brass handles that had been painted over years ago, to name just a few examples. When we walked around with Skip near the end, he was the one identifying all of the loose ends that needed to be tied up! We would definitely hire them again. In fact, given the quality of the work, I wouldn't consider painting anything ourselves again.

Recent Review: We chose not to hire Phillip Patterson Painting based solely on the cost of the estimate. We ultimately hired another reputable company that completed the work for $2,400, which included paint (except for the wall paint in the master bedroom and bath). This was ultimately a difficult decision because we were so impressed with Patterson's professionalism and reviews on Angie's List. Phil Patterson came to our home to do the estimate. He was very professional and knowledgeable and completed a printed estimate in his vehicle after viewing the space and talking with us. We would have felt very comfortable hiring Phil and his crew to do the work in our home and felt the quality would have been excellent. We would absolutely recommend this company to others.
Recent Review: They did an excellent job. They were very professional and I can't say enough good things about them. They have also done work for a friends of mine as well and she has been very happy with the work.
I ended up not using them. I needed to have plaster repair done and they don't do that, only do drywall.

They were fine. It looked like a father and son operation. They gave a fair price. He was higher in price then others.

We were very satisfied with the work that they did. They did several projects for us. They did some plaster repair and also worked on a fencing/gate. I wished Angie's List would let me give them an A+.

AWe Can Do LLC
Two other contractors were lined up to do the job, but were repeat "no call, no shows". I called "We Can Do LLC" and Mr. Hammond showed up at my door a few hours later, gave me a reasonable quote and started the job right there. My ceiling did not require a huge drywall job (like the other two led me to believe), but merely a plaster repair. He came everyday to apply coats of plaster and then sanded it down on the fourth day. It's a perfect job, I'm so pleased. It's rare to find a company that answers their own phone and keeps their promises these days, thanks "We Can Do LLC"! I'll be a lifelong customer!

We couldn't be more pleased. David was professional, kept us informed on schedule and had wonderful ideas. He completed everything on time and under budget and finished before Derby despite the April monsoons. He also managed to complete extensive plaster repairs and painting and kitchen cabinet painting and hardware replacement at our daughter's house during the same time period. We will definitely be using him again.

AHome Run Improvement
I contacted Pat McIntyre at Home Run Improvement for estimates on installing a sliding glass patio door from our bedroom to a small elevated 4'x7' deck with steps leading down to a proposed hot tub area. This involved removing an existing window, creating an opening for the door and installing same. There is a 4' difference between the bedroom floor and ground level outside, so a small deck with steps down to ground level was desired. Pat and the contractor who would do the majority of construction (Mike) came to our home. Also a gentleman who is an experienced home builder was in attendance to advise on any structural problems. After they gained specific knowledge on what I wanted and I learned of aspects I hadn't thought of, everybody was on the same page as to what needed to be done. I received a detailed quote a few days later which I found to be in the range I had expected. After giving the green light on the project, Mike and JR (another crew member) arrived at the appointed time to begin putting a huge hole in the side of our home. About 10 hours later I had a sliding glass door securely in place. One AC receptacle that had to be moved was re-routed and mounted in our basement. The next day was spent on deck and step construction. This included relocating my central air switch box on the outside and creating a junction box in the basement. The small deck adjoins an existing larger deck and was built in the same style as the larger deck. There is lattice work around the existing deck and this was installed for the smaller deck by HRI even though it was never discussed. Day 3 involved finish work on the inside and new drywall everywhere on the affected wall. Outside was finished with aluminum trim and the vinyl siding was repaired. A torrential rain hit us late in the day and it was noticed that an area of the bedroom ceiling was getting damp. This area had been covered by a thatch tiki-hut panel before the project started and wasn't exposed. Mike offered to crawl into our attic (no small task) and found the source of the leak and put a drip pan up there. My wife and I had known for some time that our roof was in need of replacement but you know how those things go. Always something more important to do. I guess Mike called Pat the next day and told him my roof was leaking. After reassuring Pat that this had nothing to do with the recent construction, he asked if I wanted a quote on a new roof, which is one of their specialties. Three days later we agreed on a price. Pat and 2 others came by to make sure the new shingles would match ones on an existing enclosed porch that would not be re-roofed. After about a week of rain delays, the roofing crew started on my house. By quitting time the house was done.. They returned the following day to do the garage. Both turned out beautiful. The new door, deck and steps are everything we had hoped for and more. Pat was present for some amount of time every day HRI was working here. He reflected the same attention to customer satisfaction that everyone on his team showed. Everyone involved in the project exhibited professionalism. Any issues were quickly resolved to my satisfaction. I've had a lot of improvements made to my home over the past five years. That involved a lot of contractors and I can say that the best experience thus far has been with Home Run Improvement..
