Recent Review: From the first time I talked to Steve about what I was wanting done, I could tell this guy knows his trade. Being in the construction business myself, I was immediately confidant in this guys knowledge. The job took several days and he provided me with daily updates. The work he did was the best I’ve seen. I even had him do some additional things because I was so impressed with his work. I was excited everyday to come home and see how much better he made my house look. My House is on a busy intersection and I can't even tell you how many people stop to comment on how nice the new driveway looks. I have already giving many referrals to friends and neighbors. As I said being in the trade business, I really appreciate the work Steve and the guys from Sammson Concrete have done for me. 100% . Thanks again guys.

Recent Review: Great. Kevin Pudinoff, the handyman, was prompt, courteous, and professional. He did an excellent job putting up the doors in a very reasonable time. I plan to use this service (and request Kevin) for several more projects around the house.

This past October he did major repairs on my shed that was damaged by squirrels at roof level and painted it when done. He also resecured a second story downspout, replaced a lattice under my front porch along with two rotting planks. Did a good job at a fair price. He is a slight person with a long beard who knows what he is doing.

I have used Marcus for various tasks, including painting, carpentry, painting and varnishing, landscaping, tree-trimming, and cleaning and organizing the home and shed. On all occasions he was on time and was very industrious for the entire time. I will be glad to rehire him in the near future. In fact, I have more yard work scheduled with him for August 10, 2013. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone, without hesitation. His attitude and work ethic are outstanding!

Mr. Simmons employed high pressure sales techniques followed up with persistance and underbidding to get the job. Once he got the job---Cost overuns and subsidies were needed to keep the job going. Job sight was often and usually left a mess... Mr. Simmon's did not live up to his word to inspect the site daily or at least weekly. In fact he rarely showed except to pressure for another payment or to gain more work. Mr. Simmons represented himself as a highly trained and union carpenter that would stand by his gaurantee even if he had to "strap on a carpenters belt" and do the work himself. Truth be known-- it did not prove to be anything more then hot air--Mr. Simmons seemed to lack the abilty and without a doubt the work ethic and honesty to back his work and committments. As a result of his worthless warratee, we have a leaking 3 seasons room, a leaking shed that will need another new roof, gutter systems that pour water and rain to the interior of my home, another gutter system still not installed and on top of this all Mr. Simmons upon final clean up personally took (stole)a role of rubberized roofing, LVL and assorted materials worth roughly over $1,200. Mr. Simmons and Simco does not return phone calls---unless you owe them--- Mr. Simmon's is a man to avoid at all cost--his business is in serious disaray, mismanagement and owes everyone...

The roofing part was great--very good job and the contractor saved us a lot by working with the insurance company to get a settlement for hail damage (that the contractor noticed that we didn't). The first remodeling project (kitchen) was great--new sink, dishwasher, counter tops, tile backsplash, lighting fixtures. It turned out very nice and the cost was very reasonable--saving on that made the second remodeling project possible. The second remodeling part had a few glitches--mostly because it was done in the dead of this very hard winter (not a good idea) and because things had to be done in haste and several unforeseen problems came up. The siding and shed construction went well--it looks great--they did a fine job. Two minor critiques (just to keep things honest): it took longer than I think it should have to get the trash removed--especially on the winter project--snow and cold complicated that, but still. And trying to get the "punch list" completed was a little slow; a couple of times I just did it myself. The contractor is very busy (must mean he's in demand--a good thing, right?) so it takes some patience and clear communication. We have a couple more projects coming up and we will definitely call AR Construction.

I started shopping for a shed by phone when i called Amish Structures they offered to come look at my site and suggest what would be the best looking and match my house, i agreed within a few hours they inspected the site made a recommendation. They we right the building is perfect for the site. They delivered ahead of schedule put it exactly where we agreed zero damage to my property something i am VERY fussy about. I couldn't have asked for better service or a higher quality building. I give them my highest recommendation it was a real pleasure doing business with Therese and Amish Structures LLC

My husband and I signed a contract with Garry for a new roof. We gave him $500 deposit to start the job in 4-6 weeks. The contract was signed in August. After 4 weeks, I had to contact him to find out the status of my installation. Of course, due to weather, we were delayed. Again, 2 weeks later I am following up. This time was another job setting him behind. My husband and Inwere going out of town 1 week in October, which we mentioned to him and he said he wasn't concerned, that he could have the job done by then. That did not happen. He wanted to do the job the week we went out of town, which we were not comfortable with. In a later conversation with Garry, he made a comment that we set him behind a week. Really? The day before the job was to start Garry came out to collect 1/2 deposit for materials. When he showed up he had 2 other guys with him. He said he wanted to go on the roof to see how difficult the tear off would be. When he came down from the roof he explained he was concerned because he found insulation under our roof, and he wasn't sure if he included it in the estimate. The next day he sent a text msg to my husband saying it would cost us another $3000 for labor and materials. My husband went back and forth with Garry, explaining that we didn't have any additional funds in our budget, and why was that not already included. After all was said and done, Garry decided to walk away from the job, leaving us with a bad roof for another winter. He finally returned our cashiers check for the material deposit, but has not refunded our $500 deposit after numerous requests from us. His reason is that he paid for the permit and was awaiting a refund from the town, and that he also purchased a replacement board, which he later gave to us, but without a recipt, we agreed to pay for the board as long as he provided a receipt. I sent Garry one last text requesting the deposit again with no reply.
