Recent Review: I worked with Greg on a kitchen remodel and home renovation. The design and work that he did was incredible. The job ran like clockwork and the clients were very pleased. Greg is very thorough and extremely knowledgable in his designs and job scope. I would highly recommend him for any of your renovation needs.
Recent Review: We contracted with Arteffects to remodel our master bathroom after consultations with bath remodeling companies failed to produce a design or floorplan that incorporated all of the elements we wanted. Wayne Olander met with us and asked first for a list of all the elements that we wanted and then created an elegant and functional design that included all of them. Our project involved taking a small, windowless master bath with a combined shower/bath and small walk-in closet to a spacious, windowed bathroom with a tiled shower, separate deep, soaking bath, toilet alcove and his and hers closets. We accomplished this by expanding the bathroom into the master bedroom and adjacent (4th) bedroom, and asked that Wayne take no more than a defined (small) amount from these rooms. His final design reflects both the architectural and design skills that Wayne?s training and experience provides. Not only was he able to fit all of the elements into the room, the room has symmetry and spaciousness I would not have imagined possible given the limited amount of space Wayne had to work with. As important, Wayne helped me solicit and evaluate competitive bids for the project and worked with the general contractor to make sure the project was done to specification. Like many projects, there were errors that needed to be addressed and Wayne was invaluable in helping resolve these issues to our satisfaction. Several bathroom remodeling companies suggested we would not need an architect or interior design specialist to assist with our project. I could not disagree more. Wayne ensured that I got the design that best suited our needs and desires and that the work was done to our specifications. Wayne graciously offered us the use of his professional discount to purchase our materials which substantially offset the cost of his services. It is worth noting that Wayne is also an experienced business-person. His contract clearly delineates his services and fees and his deliverables were always done when expected so there were no unexpected delays and costs associated with the project. We highly recommend Wayne and will definitely use him in future projects.
Recent Review: The estimate was concise and suggestions were made as we described what we wanted with a high degree of emphasis on the remodeling done and at what cost. Enhancements were made to original contract per our wishes as we witnessed a superior degree of professionalism and workmanship in the intial work. The remodel was not quite perfect, but it was real close. We love our remodeled kitchen and will use Bonner Home Improvement for any other improvements we make to our home.
Recent Review: This work occurred in conjunction with a bathroom remodel (detailed in a separate review). We originally contracted for the bathroom work, then asked the company if they would be able to fit in a closet remodel and a stair replacement. Luckily, they were able to fit us in their schedule. The old basement stairs were removed (they didn't have a center support and were sagging) and a new set was built on site. The wood they used was thick and sturdy. They also added a center support for the stairway. The stairs were completed in one day. The spare bedroom closet was 72" wide, but had a small 30" door right in the middle. They cut a new 60" doorway, reframed the opening, added 6-panel bi-fold doors, and retrimmed around the doors. Most of the closet work was completed in one day. The trimming occurred later because it was coordinated with the bathroom work. We were very pleased with the work.
Recent Review: He's coming back to remodel a bathroom this month. His prices are very fair compared to other companies and the workmanship is outstanding, especially the attention to detail. I've never worked with a contractor who is more honest than Jason, the same goes for his employees.
Recent Review: Updike did an excellent job. Our remodeled bathroom is great. The work crew was excellent and very efficient. Dan and his crew were always very responsive to our questions and needs. The work was done as promised and in a timely manner. I would always highly recommend Updike Bathroom Remodeling.
Very professional company. Receptive to all my comments and ideas along with providing design options when needed. I will be using this company again to do more remodeling in my home.

AOlis Construction LLC
From the initial estimate, all the way through to the end of the remodel, Mark Olis and his crew were extremely professional, responsive, and ready with ideas. They handled every detail from the drywall to laying the floors, and in the bathroom building and tiling a customized shower. My husband and I are typically do-it-yourselfers who currently have two toddlers. We were very pleased overall with their craftsmanship, and they were always very flexible and open with any modifications or last minute requests. In addition, we live in a 1930's house that presented all of us with various structural challenges once the walls were opened up. Mark worked in accordance with our structural engineer and was able to implement any challenge thrown his way. Brian who works with him was always attentive to details, and in addition to other skills is a fabulous painter. I highly recommend them and will be using them from this point forward for all our remodeling needs.

Having remodeled numerous kitchens and baths in the past, I can honestly say this was by far the best remodeling project that I have ever undertaken. I had the pleasure of working with Oscar Moran, who was professional, punctual and kept me informed throughout the entire process. His work is superb. He approaches each job as if he were doing the work in his own home. He's a perfectionist, an extremely hard worker, and goes out of his way to make sure the client is happy. I would highly recommend him for any project. This couldn't have gone any smoother.

AChristian Home Renovators
I live in a 1142 sq ft house built in 1928.....I believe it's considered a bungalow type home. I only had one tiny bathroom in the house. John and his crew knocked out a wall between two of the small bedrooms and created a master suite out of it. They did a fantastic job. I now have two bathrooms in my little house which is so much better! John was very responsive to any questions or concerns I had about the process. They sanded, stained and finished the hardwood floors in that space and they look fantastic. Along with all the construction, they painted the walls and trim, hung blinds, added smoke alarms, replaced my faucets in both other bath and in the kitchen. They came in appropriately on their quote and time line. They were very clean and kept the rest of my house as clean as possible considering how much workthey were doing. I plan to do a kitchen remodeling job sometime in the future and I will be going with John and his crew if they will have me!

AGuyCo Homes & Remodeling
We've used Guyco for several remodel projects-they are the only remodeling company we would consider at this point. For this project, we have an older home that had drainage pipes installed under the foundation. The pipes had rusted out and needed replacement. We used another local company to get the job completed quickly but the resulting mess included a ravine through the entire width of our house. The other company did basics to finish the project-replaced pipes and slapped some concrete over the work. We had Guyco come in and replace all of the flooring in the lower level, a full bathroom remodel as well as waterproofing some areas of the foundation that had water damage. We were kept up to date on any work being done. We knew who was going to be at our house on any given date and what work they would be performing. We knew what work would be happening in the coming days. Guyco uses subcontractors but oversees any work they do-checking their work and checking with us to see if we have had any problems or concerns. The area where work was done was kept clean (and on the odd occasion that it wasn't clean, Guyco took care of the problem and spoke with the subcontractors. The offending workman either never worked in our home again, and/or the company providing the contractor cleaned/redid the work to our satisfaction (and Jon's satisfaction, which a much harder standard to meet.) Our project was completed and we have a beautiful new bathroom, new flooring that works much better for the area, a remodeled bedroom/storage area and the dampness around specific areas of the house has been removed. We would absolutely hire them again for any home project. They are the ONLY company we will consider. We do not have the time nor the desire to oversee another company in our home and with Guyco, we can relax as we know the job will be done correctly.

For fear of sounding like I'm in a hurry, all I can say is the Eric is the absolute best remodeling co./person we've ever worked with, and we've worked with 4-5 over the last 8 years completely remaking an older home. I would STRONLGY recommend him for any remodeling project. His skill set is varied, and he seemed very talented in every one... He does GREAT tile work and his ability to do the underlying plumbing of a bathroom remodel is a great asset. More than anything, he is a pleasure to be around. He's polite, friendly, and understanding of the fact he's in your home while you're trying to work around him. The price was very fair, and when things popped up (as they always do on a remodel job) his upcharges were very fair as well. He's stood behind his work and has come back very happily on a just a couple of very minor things that cropped up a year or so later. Again, for fear of sounding like I'm getting paid for this, it was the best construction experience I could imagine (and we've had many others not that way to use as a measuring stick...)

They were always on time to do the work. They always called when they were on their way over to the house. They are very trustful people. They got the work done when they said they would. They cleaned up everything when they were done working.

I THINK HE GOT INVOLVED IN A BIGGER JOB AND LOST INTEREST IN MINE. HE WOULDN'T SHOW UP FOR DAYS AT A TIME AND WAS NOT COMPLYING WITH THE TERMS OF THE CONTRACT(EXCEEDED THE FINISH DATE). I ASKED HIM NOT TO COME BACK, AND THEREFORE, I TERMINATED THE CONTRACT. HE HAS NOW PUT A MECHANIC'S LIEN ON MY PROPERTY.
