Recent Review: Brad met with us several times to finalize our cabinet layout and made some great suggestions to enhance the layout. Detailed cost estimates were provided and it was clear how our changes would affect the total cost. The cost estimates included the hardware we wanted. Brad gave us sample doors with various stain colors to help us finalize our color before we signed the contract. He kept us updated on the construction of the cabinets and the timeline to install. He was good to work our construction timeline into his schedule. The installation was done in two days and the installation was very professional. We have beautiful kitchen cabinets that look more like furniture than cabinets thanks to Brad and Wood Shapes. We will be using them again for our next cabinet project.

Recent Review: We got quotes from two businesses. The first took two weeks to get us the quote and didn't seem too confident about his product. Jay gave us the quote while he was still at the house and was able to quickly tell us how much different modifications would impact the overall price. Their price was 10% lower than the other quote. We selected colors and styles at their office and they challenged us to think about a number of things that had not occurred to us. We had them swap two cabinets and make space to install a built-in looking under cabinet microwave - getting it off the counter. We really enjoyed working with Jay and Kate - a very nice couple who own and run the business. We scheduled well in advance to coordinate with a flooring installation and they were ready to go. They had one craftsman out for most of a week with supplemental help as needed. He was very polite and clean in his work. We were very excited about the end result. They finished in the week they had quoted us. If we were to do it over again the only thing we might change would be to get a quote for cabinet replacement - just to be sure we were saving money and effort by re-facing. It was nice to not have to alter any plumbing or appliances and they did not have to alter the solid surface countertops we had installed 6-7 years ago.
Recent Review: Insured Services has done an amazing job from the beginning. This house was a real challenge. Water damage had collapsed the kitchen ceiling and rot had made a mess of things. Johnathan's meticulous and detailed work has made it so one cannot tell where the new wall repairs end and the original walls begin. One thing that I really appreciated is that Johnathan will not settle for less than the best. If something was not done correctly, he will re-do it (as opposed to leaving it and hoping you don't notice!). He has been transparent in his pricing and DOES NOT MARK UP MATERIALS! He makes a living through his labor and is happy to pass along savings in material costs to the customer. He is an honest man and it makes all the difference!

Pioneer worked very hard to help me decide on what to do (paint vs reface) with my cabinets. They were patient with my indecisiveness and offered suggestions as I chose hardware for the cabinets. The crew is absolutely great! Dane, who has been there many years, is an expert craftsman. There were some hiccups along the way as there always are, but Pioneer remained determined to satisfy. I'm quite particular and notice each and every imperfection, and let me say that they worked hard to keep me happy and make things right. The new cabinets on top and the doors and drawers are beautiful and the color and hardware are just as I wanted. I will say that I am not completely sold on the quality of Thermafoil. I hope it holds up down the road and can handle the wear and tear. The Thermafoil quality issues had nothing to do with Pioneer. I plan to use them again for bathroom cabinetry in the future and would highly recommend them for kitchen remodels. (I will be getting wood cabinets in the bathrooms) Thank you Pioneer!!

Great! We met with the owner Tom who helped us pick out the cabinets, hardware and backsplash for our kitchen. He came to our house to take measurements and go over what we wanted done. Later we went to his office and he showed us the plan for our kitchen. After the cabinets came in an appointment was made to have them installed. The workers arrived on time and started work immediately. In no time they took out the old cabinets and started installing the new ones. There was a slight "hiccup" but everything turned out fine in the end. My husband and I are very happy with our new kitchen.

Our house was built in ’71, and the cabinets were original, and stained to a dark, walnut color. We wanted a new, lighter color look for our kitchen cabinets and ended up contacting 4 contractors for proposals. We opted to go with Pioneer Kitchens (Tom Jeffers) based on their presentation, cost and references. We were not disappointed. The work was done over 2 days, and we absolutely love the finished product. What they did was to: a) remove the existing cabinet doors and drawers and replace with new solid maple doors, and new drawers with maple fronts; b) refaced the existing cabinet frames, sides and undersides with matching ¼” sliced maple facing; c) install a new maple valance above the sink area; d) install decorative molding for the backside of our cabinet peninsula; e) replace the existing chair rail in the dinette area with a matching maple rail; and f) provide new handles along with concealed soft close hinges for the doors. The workers were very courteous and professional, and cleaned up thoroughly each day. And Tom Jeffers was excellent in answering all our questions prior to the work. And the fact that they required no down payment – and full payment only after we were satisfied with the work – was an additional plus. Would highly recommend them for this kind of work.

We purchased over $30,000.00 of new custom Kraftmaid Kitchen Cabinets and the paint finish has been horrible. Kraftmaid sent a painter to paint the cabinets and all of those are scratching. We purchased the kitchen on 3/31/2018 and 9 months later we are still not finished and the cabinets are horrible, scratching, has saw dust imbedded in the door fronts that was sent from the factory, some edges don't have paint at all. I have attached a few of the photos to share.

Very well. We couldn't be more pleased with the work.. The entire staff were very helpful and professional. The sales people at the office were very helpful in showing the various/materials options we had to choose from, and making suggestions as we expressed our desires. The installation technicians were very prompt, courteous, friendly and professional. The work involved extensive sanding and preparation of our existing cabinet frames. They hung visqueen sheets to keep the prep debris confined to the kitchen and cleaned up before leaving everyday. The finished cabinets look fantastic and very professionally contructed.

Water damage to kitchen required new cabinets. We worked with Lynn Weathers who walked us through the process, choosing from their direct suppliers; from that point, she worked directly with our general contractor. We made some design changes from our old setup, and Lynn had great suggestions which made for a great final product. Lynn didn’t oversell, listened to our desires, and took all the pressure out. There were a few bumps (damaged or non working parts, etc), but ProSource always was quick to re-order asap, no questions. We highly recommend over DIY cabinet places; much better selection and customer support.

Excellent! My 25 year old cabinets were starting to separate, and within 3 days, the guys were able to completely restore them and replace the old doors with brand new, beautiful maple doors and hardware. It looks like a new kitchen, and it was much cheaper than starting from scratch.
