Town & Country Services
Recent Review: Even though my leaky hot water tank was not an emergency, they scheduled an appointment the next day to replace it. The technician arrived on time and with all the necessary tools. He replaced the hot water tank with an independent hot water heater and made all the necessary plumbing adjustments to make the switch. He also answered some questions I has regarding my boiler. He left his work area as neat as when he arrived, removing all traces of garbage, packaging, and extra material. I am highly satisfied and would recommend Town and Country Services!

Arnold Plumbing
Recent Review: The house we bought had a washer, dryer and hot water tank in the kitchen. Well, needless to say, they needed a place they could call their own. Being the bathroom was the smallest room in the house and already shared it space with the furnace, we decided that would be a great place for the washer, dryer & hot water tank to take up residency. We then decided the bathroom would work out great in the room just next to the original, it is a tad bit larger. Arnold did a fabulous job moving and hooking up the plumbing. He not only did what needed to be done, he made sure that the drains were all up to par. He did the necessary improvements to assure everything was satisfactory.

JACOBS AIR CONDITIONING AND HEATING INC
Recent Review: I had been planning to call Jacobs for a seasonal tune-up on my air-conditioning system when I found that I had a gas leak in my hot water heater. I called Jacobs for a second-opinion. Their technician Dave’s opinion concurred with the first: the leak was in a very expensive part and it was best to replace the entire hot water heater. Their bid to replace the hot water heater also included replacing some of the gas piping which was not up to code. This eliminated some flared fittings and other problems that I was already aware needed to be addressed at the earliest convenience. I feel that I received good customer service during and after the installation. Shortly after the installation, I thought the hot water smelled odd. Their technicians worked with me until I was satisfied that the problem was resolved. Four months later my property was inspected, and the inspector took issue with the drop tube on the temperature relief valve. This particular pipe was made of PVC, but the inspector wanted it to be metal. I sent Jacobs a copy of the inspection report, and they came out and replaced the PVC tube with a metal one. Some of the copper gas piping was replaced with corrugated stainless steal tubing (CSST) in the installation. I recently found that there is a possible safety concern with CSST if it is not properly bonded and grounded. I e-mailed the owner of Jacobs with my concern, and they replaced the CSST with black iron piping.
