Keith came by and knew exactly what was wrong. Fixed the issue right away. Very personable. We talked about future options on what to do with the other pumps in the basement. Very nice people to work with.

DABC Plumbing Heating Cooling & Electric
Very expensive sump pump broke on Friday night causing flooding in the basement. We called ABC's emergency line at 8:00 p.m. and we were told to expect a call back within the hour. No one called. Called again at 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00. No one called until 12:30 a.m. We found another plumber to come over and stop the flooding and set up a temporary pump. The original pump was under warranty and ABC installed the pump, so they sent a service tech on Monday to fix the pump. Rocks had been sucked up into the pump. Parts were covered under the warranty, but labor was not covered. Labor charges were quoted to us at $632. The job ended up taking the technician 1.5 hours. We thought this was an exorbitant amount for 1.5 hours of labor, but were still charged $632 because they charge "by the job." I've never written a negative review before, but this time felt like it was warranted.

AChicagoland Quality Plumbing Inc
Our three-flat had a serious problem with our sump pump this winter. We chose Chicagoland Quality Plumbing based on its strong reviews here and were not disappointed. Mr. Flores kindly agreed to met us late in the day (for him) and had the problem fixed in short order. We were grateful he was willing to be so flexible and was so effective in solving the problem. A few weeks later, after heavy rains, a problem recurred. He willingly came out again, despite very wet conditions, and again made the repair quickly and explained what had gone wrong. Despite his time and the inconvenience to him, he did not charge us again. We were impressed by his honesty, skill and professionalism, and will call him again when needed, for our building or for our individual units. Thanks for the excellent work and outstanding response when we badly needed your help.

ASump Pump Medic Inc
Last week the sump pump in my basement started making a loud humming noise and was not pumping out the sewage, so I found Sump Pump Medic through Angies list and gave Acey Sell a call. He was able to come out the same day and fix the problem. Acey was very professional and courteous. He clearly explained the problem as he analyzed it and I even had him do soem additional work on the separate rain water sump pump to prevent potential back-up issues in the future. I could not have asked for anything more. I highly recommend Acey.

FPerfect Home Services
I called to get a plumber out the night of a big downpour as there was a foot of water in the basement, Monday June 15. The sump pump had failed. The plumber told me that he was booked all night. I was told I would be toward the head of the list as I called early. I was told to have the water removed first and then they would come to fix the problem and since I was on their "list" as having called in early that they would work with the water removal company that they work with. I used their water removal company, Chicago Water and Fire. I called Perfect Home Services early on Wednesday morning the 17th and explained that the water removal company had removed the water but it keeps coming back in so I need them to coordinate with the water removal folks to get in there. The receptionist told me that I would be put on the end of the list so that meant that I would have to wait at least another day or more. When I asked about being a priority since I had called early, she said that it was too bad but I was going to have to wait.

Recent Review: A- ProSeal did an excellent job for us! We called other places for consultation, but what stood out was our estimator Eddie, who was straight to the point with a confident resolution to our water leakage issue. He was very friendly and professional. Everything went smoothly. All work was done according to plan. The workers spent only 1 day and came when expected, were friendly, and was respectful to our home, laying down protection for our carpets as they needed to go in and out of the house. Also, the room in our basement that was worked in was protected and door closed while working as so no dust from drywall removal came up into the home. A nice touch that I didn't realize till the end was that one of the workers fixed the door to the room so it would shut correctly. (One thing we never got around to fixing.) I thought that was so thoughtful! Besides all the work done well according to plan, was the AWESOME job they did on the clean up! Very impressed! The landscape didn't even look touched and our room was all cleaned up and everything was left very neat. At the end of the day, it felt so nice to have our issue fixed and everything put back to order. If you are in need of any water issues in your basement, please call A ProSeal. Excellent work and affordable pricing.

Recent Review: Rob arrived at my house the next day after my basement flooded. He fit me into his busy schedule, and finished the job before the rain could cause more problems. His prompt service was very much appreciated. Also, the quality of service he provides is well worth the cost compared to most plumbing services out there. I would definitely recommend his company to anyone dealing with plumbing or mechanical issues.
Recent Review: Dmitry arrived in a timely manner to estimate situation and within 45 min. the worker arrived and began removal and installation of battery back-up sump pump. Very clear explanation of problem and solution. Would definitely use again!
Recent Review: VSI is a professional and reliable company. They have helped me out on a couple of occasions in relation to our sump pump and each time I have found them to be knowledgeable, experienced, respectful and trustworthy. The most recent visit was to install a combination primary and battery backup sump pump. They carry the Pro Series PHCC line which is a premium brand with excellent pumping capabilities. The primary pump has a powerful pumping capacity of 3000 GPH at 10ft lift and the battery backup has an equally impressive 2400 GPH at 10ft lift - which is more powerful than many of the primary pumps on the market! I now have complete piece of mind knowing that, not only do I have a more powerful primary pump, I also have a battery backup pump which will activate during power outages or if the primary pump fails or cannot keep up with the volume of water entering the sump pit. Another advantage to this system is that it is much quieter that I hardly hear the sump pump cycle now. So, a big thank you to Anton and David for their knowledge and expertise and for being so patient in answering my many questions about this system and a big thank you to Paul for skillfully installing it. You all make a great team!
