Recent Review: He just replaced stove range top. He has been doing work around my home for many years.  He even did all of the electrical work for me when I moved in.  He also just did my daughter's entire kitchen, everything from the flooring to the cabinets.  He is very professional and always on time.

Recent Review: To repair the stove would have required a $480 part, so we passed. The dishwasher needed the resetting of a gasket. The repairman was very helpful, courteous and honest. This will be our choice for all future appliance repairs. An interesting aside: We called another major appliance sales organization and asked them about their rates. They said that a repairman would be sent for each appliance and each would cost $150 plus parts, which would have cost us $300. The other organization is also an A rated organization on Angie's list.

Recent Review: It went fine.  The repairman was extremely professional and informative.  My oven had not been heating properly and also burning things and he was able to adjust the temp. dial so the dial matched the stove temperature.  He also corrected my positioning of the oven thermometer so I'd get correct readings.   Furthermore,  he said if it continued to act up, I should get a new thermostat, looked up what kind and how much it cost and gave me a quote.   If I decide to do that, I will not have to pay an add'l service call fee.  So I was very happy with the way it went.

Recent Review: Very nice job. Hood and fan was installed within two hours. We had groupon for 3 hours. So John asked us if we had more repairs. This is very appreciated. He did not drag the time for 3 hours. Then he installed another fan. One of the spare parts did not fit and he came along to cvs to get it. Very satisfactory job. We are going to hire him again maybe next week.

Steve and his team are unresponsive and uncoordinated when it comes to returning calls and scheduling follow up appointments.  I had to schedule a follow up appointment for an ordered part for the stove at a rental property and Steve and his team never followed up to notify me the part had arrived.  After several weeks had passed I called priority appliance and Steve and his team returned the call with an attempt to schedule the follow up appointment the same day.  I missed their call and returned the call, but did not hear back from the team.  I have called priority several times.   The team has not sense of urgency or remorse for the delay in service.  I experienced this earlier with Priority and thought it was a fluke, but now have come to understand this is their standard operating model.

Overall a very good experience.  Stove was not working so I purchased the $50 deal (appliance diagnostic and amount applied to the repair).  Service man Brain came out same day and had the required part for repair (stove igniter).  Repairs were done promptly and professionally.  1 year warranty on parts/labor. I would use Appliance Alliance in the future.

Chicago appliance came out, assessed the issue and left quickly. I believe they correctly diagnosed the problem but a) ordered the wrong part because they said they couldn't find the model number (which I had if they would have asked); b) got the date wrong when they would return which wasted half a day with someone waiting for them when they never came; and c) when they came back with the wrong part - late - after telling me I was their first stop and not calling (I had to call them) couldn't do anything. Owner responded to concerns raised, evaluated the service needs and reported to homeowner that they were not able to complete the service based on the nature of the problem. Homeowner appreciated the extra review of the service needs.

The gentleman who performed the service was very friendly, polite and seemed to know his stuff.  My problem was with how my bill was calculated.  The online coupon said 50% off and when I received my bill he said he gave me $20 off.  I asked how much the part was and how much the labor was.  I was told he was given one figure so he wasn't sure.  I find it hard to believe the 45 minutes he was there and a new stove ignitor cost  $476 (since I paid $238 and was supposed to receive 50% off).

The technician came out in early December  to my rental property and determined that they needed to order a part for the appliance.  The technician indicated the part would come before christmas and they would call to schedule the repair once the part arrived.  Steve and his team never followed up.  Upon speaking with my tenant post Christmas, I placed several calls into Priority to follow up on the ordered part to fully fix the stove.  Steve and his team have not been able to coordinate the return of phone calls or scheduling an appointment with even 24 hours notice to notify my tenant.   I had a similar issue with Steve and his team the last time I scheduled a repair.  I thought it was a fluke and decided to give Priority another shot.  Given my latest experience, I doubt I will use priority for appliance repairs again.

We bought a 220 electrical stove and the wire was shorting out and they diagnosed that and repaired it. The price for rewiring that shouldn't have cost 600 dollars, it wasn't an emergency type setting. The stove cost a little over 600 dollars and for the wiring job to cost as much as the stove, I was a little upset and pissed at the price. The gentleman had to go to Home Depot to get some of the parts and if you are an electrician not to have something to repair a 220 stove outlet is unbelievable. And he said it was 15 ft of wire but it was more like 6 or 7 feet of wire because the stove is right over the electrical box and going through a floor so I thought that was a bunch of crap too. And its Rom-ax so its not like he had to stick a conduit in there or work around something, it was very simplistic. I thought the price was a rip off. I would never use them again. How they came up with that price is beyond me. The quality of the work was standard because it works but the idea of the price did not meet the expectations. They were on time.
