This project was done on time and on budget with better than expected results. My gravel driveway had washed out with several deep ruts from years of erosion. Clayton Park, owner of Everything Excavation, also installed a drainage system to correct the original erosion problem. I am more than satisfied with the results and would recommend Everything Excavation to everyone in need of it’s services.

ADU BOIS R M CONSTRUCTION INC
WOW!! This company was an incredible experience! I thought I was in a "time-warp". Rich is VERY professional, helpful, out to please the customer, and his crew was fantastic! They started excavating one day, finished the second day, and on the second day upon finishing the excavating, set up our footing forms and poured them using his pump and were done by 2 pm! Next day, they set up on basement wall forms. Next day they poured the walls. Next day they removed all the huge trees they had bulldozed and finished the swale and grating. WOWZER! AND THE JOB WAS PERFECT!!!! To me, it was expensive, but it is perfect and I just don't know today's costs. I didn't want to quote the price as everyone's would be different but the amount field was a required fill. If you need a perfect job, give him a call!!!

ANOETH EXCAVATING SYSTEMS INC
Co-owner and two employees showed up before designated time and started working within 15-20 minutes. They were extremely careful of all the grounds around the garage and house as Matt used the backhoe and then filled in around the pipe. Everything was done in a professional manner, and the grounds around the house were cleaned up, all in one day. This is a company respectful of their clients and workers, and we would definitely recommend them for any excavating job.

AKOBY CONTRACTING CO
Bob and Michele were easy to work with. Bob outlined possible scenarios when he began to dig and the agreed on price was point on. He performed the work promptly and as promised. Michele handled the phone and paperwork in a professional and friendly manner. I would highly recommend Koby Contracting if you are in need of work that requires excavation.

AHoffman Concrete, LLC
Very satisfied. The work was completed during adverse weather conditions (Dec/Jan with low temperatures) and in a tight urban environment (city lot with narrow back alley) with not much space for temporary material storage, equipment delivery of materials trucks. The owner - Mark Hoffman and his crew, demonstrated knowledge, professionalism and commitment to excellence during all phases of the job - from scope negotiation to finish. Their responsiveness, attention to detail and forward thinking sets them apart from many other concrete contractors.

ABlands Plumbing Sewer & Water
We had used Blands in October to clean the sewer line from the house to the main. They were fast and courteous and reasonable ($150). Stu is quiet, polite and extremely competent. Unfortunately, after a heavy deluge the sewer backed up and spilled over the vent by the main sewer line (we live in a 100 year-old home) in January. We called Blands, who responded immediately, re-roted the line, ran a camera down the line, found the problem, gave us a bid for everything and returned as soon as the weather permitted (within a week or so) to dig up the portion of the line affected and replace it, adding a back flow preventer to the new vent they installed. They were done within 4 hours and on their way and we were thrilled. Bill and Stu were great to work with and have become our "sewer guys"!

Very well. The owner was on site most days during the construction and the only problem we had was the weather. Hard to work this type of effort in the rain.

ABrewster Excavating & Landscaping, Inc.
I am actually working with them now but I haven't had them do any work yet. I decided to use them because it seemed that they specialized in what I was looking for. They gave me a quote of $4100 for the work. I thought that they would be a good choice. They are flexible with your schedule. They came to my house after work at around 6 'o clock and I thought that was good. They tried to get things set up with a date. They were honest and told me that some things weren't necessary to do.

Of the many contractors I have dealt with, Skip was by far the most obnoxious and arrogant. I contacted Skip and left a voice mail. He called back on the same day. I initially asked him for a rough estimate on removing the concrete sidewalk and he said it would be about $375. We agreed that he would come the next day to see the area and give an exact estimate. The next day a whole crew showed up ready to remove the sidewalk. I asked for an estimate and after calling Skip they said it would be $475. I offered $300 and also asked for an estimate on excavating about 500 sq ft of the backyard to a depth of 7 inches. He thought I was offering $300 for both jobs and abruptly said he was pulling out. After I clarified to him what I meant, he insisted on $475 for the concrete removal and quoted $600 for the excavation, which was to be done the next day. I said OK, and left a check with my sister to give them after they were done. When I came back I noticed that they had left almost half of the concrete untouched. I called Skip the next day and he said he would look at the site and do what is necessary. Throughout our interactions, he made me feel like i was wasting his precious time with every word that I said. He did remove the rest of the concrete - no apology for collecting his check while leaving the job half done the day before. He then started the excavation and told me he was not responsible for damaging any buried wiring or plumbing. Period. He did indeed cut one of my satellite cables although I had pointed out where it was buried. Again, no apology. He ran over my strawberry patch with his Bobcat - again not even the courtesy of saying sorry. When he was done, I was trying to measure the slope and level of the excavated area to make sure it was OK. He became impatient and started telling me that he is done and that I am wasting his time. When I pointed out a slab of concrete he had left behind, he practically started shouting at me and telling me that this was not part of the agreement. When I asked him to calm down he became even more agitated and said that he would remove just this one piece and that he wants his money and asked whether he was making himself clear in a very hostile manner. Overall, he did an OK job but left the excavated area uneven. He took his second check and left without thanking me or saying goodbye. His crew on the other hand were very nice people, and I feel bad for them having to work for such a person.
