Recent Review: We set up an appointment to discuss our heating/cooling needs with several local contractors. We knew that our 16 year-old air conditioner would likely not make it through another summer and we didn't want to wait for it to break. Jim Fleming took a great deal of time to explain the different options available to us, and the pro's and con's of each choice. In particular we really wanted to be able to get the lower level warm in the winter without having to make the upper level intolerably warm. He diagnosed right away that we didn't have enough return vents to do the job adequately. Jim is clearly an expert and loves what he does. The other bids we got consisted of "professionals" grunting a quote with no explanation at all. With our questions, the others sort of shrugged. Jim gave reasonable answers and guaranteed us that the lower level and upper level of our home would be within a degree or so of each other. After the job and a year later I can tell you that the house is more comfortable than it's ever been, and the upper and lower levels are identical in temperature. We had recently installed a whole-house humidifier prior to the furnace/ac replacement, and Jim was able to install our new system while retaining that humidifier. It is so comfortable in our house now - the new energy efficient furnaces and ac's have come a long way in the 16 years since our home was built. Our house is warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, and they system itself doesn't run nearly as long or as often as it used to. We couldn't be more pleased!
Recent Review: Matt is very particular about his work. He did all the work by himself and holds himself to very high standards. I have nothing but good things to say about his initial work, follow-up, maintenance and professionalism.

Recent Review: They are very good. I have used them for about 40 years. We had many many many years ago, we had a boiler essentially not quite explode but pretty close. It was January. I had children. We were in a very cold house. They had a boiler on hand that they had ordered for someone else but it was not an emergency. They brought it right to our house and put it in the next day. They are a little high. Their quality is very good. They are very responsive. They came right when they said they would.

Recent Review: Opt instead to purchase a new unit after meeting with the company’s co-owner to select the appropriate model and arrange financing. From our initial service call to the final walk through of the installed internal and external components of the central air conditioner, CMD delivered their services and products in top drawer fashion. We also bought our gas furnace from them 7 years ago and it has been problem-free from day1. They do not charge to haul away the old replaced unit(s) and left the work areas as clean as pre-installation condition. Based on our long-term experience with CMD as our HVAC provider, we will continue using their services/products and highly recommend them to everyone. In our opinion, their products and related services are the gold standard in the industry.
Recent Review: We have been having problems with our heater for some time now. I had called Jacob's and scheduled a service call. When the tech came out the next morning, he went over the heater and found that the problem was the control board. He told my wife how much it would cost to fix it. He then suggested that we sign up for their C.A.M.P(Comfort Assurance Maintenance Program). He said that in the fall when they come back out to check the heater, they could replace the part and we would get a discount on the repair.

Recent Review: Sears installers came at the appointed time installed a new furnace and air conditioner. Everything is backed by the sears warranty. The Installers were a little messy leaving small scraps of wood and metal in my basement. Overall, they did a pretty good job.
Prompt & very courteous, very clean install. Had total of 3 men working on install. Explained everything in detail. About 4 hours work. Cleaned up everything when complete

The person giving the original inspection and estimate was very professional, honest and prompt, both with arriving to inspect and sending the estimate. As soon as the materials arrived, we were called and set a date to replace the above mentioned items. The workman took two and one half days to get all installed, they also were very prompt and did a great job, installing, removing and cleaning up after the instellation.

BTURNEY Heating/Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical
Showed up on time ,balanced new furnace on bricks found in my yard (not exactly my preference for installation) Damaged a door frame removing old furnace. On the positive side they are friendly and replaced some cracked gas line fittings that could have created a real problem.

Good. Jim troubleshooted the air conditioner and found a bad capacitor. Helpful info on AC life and general maintenance.

AD&W Air Solutions, Inc.
Checked out old unit. Gave estimate to repair. We decided with age of unit, it was better to replace then repair. They were excellent to use to check and replace our air conditioner. Kept us informed every step of access and followed up just to make sure we were happy and satisfied without calling them.

ABRENNAN HEATING & AIR COND
The company went out of their way to install two of the units before the roofers did their part so we would not have to wait until the end of the season to realize the benefits of having AC in my Laundromat.

CJohn's Service And Sales Inc
They put in a new furnace at the same time. They were very responsive. I had a few problems with them so I would not recommend John's. The problem they had was with the air conditioner. They had to replace it. It was a brand new one and as far as we can tell they replaced it with a smaller unit.

CDAVIS HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING, INC
Air condition does not work right and is not big enough for what the house would need. They refuse to fix the problem and keep making excuses for what the problem is.

Duct work had to be replaced: used substandard materials hidden in walls/under floors and damaged them severely during installation. Vents shoddily cut into walls. Copper tubing crimped on air conditioner keeping unit from operating properly. Didn't wrap pipes, so condensation dripped through the ceiling and into light fixtures. Refused to answer/return phone calls. No permanent listed address. Much of work had to be re-done by another firm. Improper installation of a window with extremely shoddy carpentry work inside and outside.
