Recent Review: Mice Hunters is a joy to do business with. I had an excellent experience with Jason when the original work was done in Jan/Feb of this year, and just called them back as I have noticed louder concerning noises from the chipmunks near my stoop. T came by to check out it within 24 hours, patched up the non-visible damage underneath the house and protected it so as to keep the chipmunks from being able to do more damage. He also triple-checked the original work, made a couple touch-ups and was on his way in less than 30 minutes. All for free as part of their original guarantee. Great work, Mice Hunters!
Recent Review: ERWIN PROMPTLY RETURNED CALLS. QUICKLY MADE AN APPOINTMENT. ARRIVED ON TIME FOR THE APPOINTMENT. WAS POLITE AND INFORMATIVE DURING HIS TIME AT OUR HOUSE. HE INDICATED THE MICE WOULD BE ELIMINATED IN ABOUT 10 DAYS. THE MICE WERE GONE IN ABOUT 14-17 DAYS. HOWEVER, USING THE ''POISONED BAIT'' APPROACH RESULTED IN FINDING A FEW DEAD MICE IN OUR HOUSE. THIS WAS NOT A BIG DEAL TO ME AS I EXPECTED THAT POSSIBILITY. I HAD TRIED GLUE TRAPS PRIOR TO CALLING. OVERALL, I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THE RESULTS. JUST BE AWARE TO CHECK YOUR BASEMENT, CLOSETS ETC. ABOUT 2 WEEKS AFTER THE TREATMENT.
Recent Review: He arrived on time and asked questions regarding any issues I might be having with insects or mice. Since the main problem is spiders in the basement, he checked carefully to determine where they might be coming in. The service call lasted 90 minutes and was extremely thorough. I look forward to working with him in the future. Excellent service!
Recent Review: Robert has been great. He answered any questions I have had about rats and did a full assessment of the entire condominium complex. He suggested proofing the patio fences so we can deter the rats from coming back. He and some of his colleagues have been back several times to clean up the rats we caught and to reset the traps. I am not happy that I still have the issue, but it seems to be smart rats avoiding the traps. I hope it will be resolved soon. Overall I have been happy with their work, but there have been a few times where they haven't come over to reset the traps when they said they would, but when I called, they made sure someone came out the next day. I haven't seen the final bill yet, but they gave us a discount for rat proofing twelve units, rather than just mine.
Recent Review: Dave answered a very early morning call after we woke up to find mice in our kitchen. He came out a couple hours later and was able to capture the entire family that had somehow gotten into our home. He removed the mice, put out poison, and then sprayed the entire home for bugs. Included in the cost was him returning to our house a few weeks later to plug up holes on the outside of the house so mice couldn't get in. Would highly recommend him. Great service, great price.
Reviews in Highland Park to Exterminate Rats or Mice
BKC PEST CONTROL
Awesome. Really nice and responsive. We have rats but Keith thought they were mice. He set poison traps to get rid of the mice. We were concerned about dead mice being stuck in the wall. He informed us that mice deteriorate very quickly. When found out that they were rats and now we're stuck with a dead rat in the wall. He thought they were mice b/c he did not find any rat droppings.

FThe Rat Patrol of Illinois
This company was initially contacted due to a mouse that was found in my home. I first spoke with the dispatcher named Jeff and then was told that Jerry would be the one calling me as he would be the one to complete the service. After speaking with Jerry we set up an appointment for him to come to my home and take a look and the interior and exterior of my building to find where and how the mice where coming in. I was told over the phone I would initially be charged $175 upfront and then would possibly be charged more later depending on what needed to be fixed. I agreed to that amount and gave Jerry my credit card number so a payment could be taken for the initial consultation and placement of rat poison around the home. I asked him to send me and the owner of my condo a receipt and or summery of the job that was completed that day. According to Jerry that information was sent to my owner. My owner said he never received anything so I asked him to send me the information instead. After multiple calls to Jerry and Jeff, nothing ever got sent to me. I am extremely upset with the customer service and lack of professionalism from Jerry, who is allegedly the owner of the business. Jerry and Jeff are the only two people I have been able to get a hold of with this company which seems very strange and suspicious to me. There was also never any paperwork emailed or given to me about the service that was provided. What astonished me the most was when Jerry asked why I needed the receipt so badly and kept persuading me to refer to my credit card statement. When someone buys a service or a product from a company, there is always a proof of the service completed and a receipt for proof of payment. This entire experience has been absolutely terrible and I will never do business with them again.

Traps were put out and mitigation techniques that I could do were suggested. Alex came multiple time over three weeks until all evidence of the infestation was gone.

John was great. He came out to our rental property and investigated all points of entry. He set several traps and bait and followed up two more times. He had good advice and really loves his work.

AA-Action Pest Control & Insulation Services, Inc.
A-Action did a great job. They scheduled my first appointment for the day after I called them. They came on time and were very professional. One time I left a message, and they called me back just a few hours later. I would hire them again.

AProActive Pest Management
An excellent company staffed with professional and knowledgeable people. My particular technician, Derek, should be called “mouse busters” because he solved my indoor problems. I’m now on a maintenance plan where they place, fill and check bait boxes on the outside once per quarter. No more mice problems!

AMice Mob Exterminators
I spent a few years trying to eliminate mice in my basement, only to have 3 or 4 show up every year. I decided to try Mice Mob, because they specialize in eliminating the entry points. The team came out last fall and sealed the entire bottom portion of the house (under the cedar shingles and the lowest windows). They also 'fumigated' in the basement and attic and set out bait. It's been nearly a year with no mice until this week. I had them come out for an annual inspection because I had a squirrel in the house (which likely ran in an open door). They found 2 new possible entry points and sealed those. A few days later I heard noise and they came back to make sure everything was sealed and rechecked all of the bait. Now we'll just have to wait for it to take the bait and hopefully that will be the end of it and I'll have another mouse-free year. Everyone at Mice Mob is very patient with my literally paralyzing fear of mice and they do a really great professional job. I highly recommend them - no other 'process' has even come close to eliminating mice to the degree they have. A big thank you to the entire company!

AQuick Kill Exterminating Co
Starting with the phone call all the way through the service, they were fantastic. The office was very helpful and friendly. The price they quoted was the price we paid. They came out the same day I called. Andrew was thorough and very professional. He did the work in the rain and still took the time to explain things to me in detail and answer all my questions. The price quoted on the phone was for a few bait traps. He also noticed a gap at the AC to house hose connection and filled that in at no extra charge. I highly recommend this company and I am extremely picky when it comes to service companies. I always assume I am being ripped off or hustled and I never felt for a second that either thing was happening. Many exterminators give a hard sell at the end to make you buy a long term service contract. This is how they make their money. Quick Kill just gave me a folder and mentioned the pricing for a long term contract. They did not pressure me. No hard sell. I really appreciated their professionalism. I rarely write reviews here, but had to congratulate Quick kill on a job well done. I hope we never need an exterminator again, but if we do I am calling Quick Kill.

AResolve Pest Solutions
I live in Wicker Park and had a rat entering my apartment. The rat had chewed a small hole in the wall behind my stove and would come in a play jungle gym behind my stove and fridge. I saw him a few times when I pulled the appliances out; he would just sit there staring at me but I had no idea how to catch him. Through my landlord, I got in touch with Resolve. I work nights and sleep during the day, so I was glad the Resolve guy could come at pretty much any time I needed. I was thinking they would come out and lay down some poison pellets, but their work was much more thorough. I found out that the rat was coming out of an open sewer in the crawl space of the building. With the use of a small camera, they were able to probe the pipe and see where the opening was. They dug under the building to where the opening was and fixed the pipe to avoid any further rodent intrusions. The Resolve guys told me that there may still be a rat in the building or walls somewhere that got through before the opening in the pipe was sealed. I told them that I didn't want to kill the rat or have to deal with the smell of a decomposing animal, so they left me a live trap and told me to call if I caught anything and they would come pick it up. The next morning, the rat that had previously been in and around my stove and fridge was in the live trap. I drove the rat to a nearby empty field by the river and released it, unharmed. My landlord payed the bill of course. I believe the total cost of all services was around $1800, and I have not had any rodent problems since. Here's a look at the rat up close in a video I made of the whole ordeal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hftgp3fDaP8
