Recent Review: Original contact went well. Estimator came out and was very professional and understood the details. I requested quote for composite and wood decks. Received quote in just a few days for composite option. Emailed repeatedly for status of wood deck quote. Never received. Found another deck builder.

Recent Review: Tom was easy to talk to and and discussed any concerns that I may have had concerning this project. I definitely would hire Tom again for other work if the need arose. Tom kept the area clean and free of debris everyday, his workmanship, excellent ! While there were several ways to complete this project, Tom's suggestions brought it in under budget and in a timely manner.

Recent Review: I was all set to use this contractor, to build a wheelchair ramp addition to our deck. But at the last moment, since I am a disabled veteran, Home Depot and Disabled American Veterans stepped forward with donation of materials and contractor, which completely changed the circumstances.  But I reviewed many photos showing the quality of Ben Strainis's work, and his work ethics and expertise were evident in his professional interaction & response to my inquiry and requests concerning the project. He was also quick to respond via phone, email, text & facebook messaging, I cross checked and compared his bid for the project with other estimates I received, and it was more than fair and reasonable for the area and the project. I wouldn't hesitate to refer this contractor if anyone is looking for an all around general home contractor with a specialty in woodwork building projects.  Let me reiterate, the ONLY reason I didn't use this contractor is because of the donation of materials and labor as previously stated in this review.

Recent Review: I had noticed the gutters needed to be replaced a couple years ago. I chose (mistakenly) to wait to replace them until tax time. Each tax time came around and the money was spent on other items. This winter, the water from the porch roof saturated the concrete steps on the porch, froze, and destroyed the steps and hand railing mounts. This passed month, each time it rained, my basement flooded. My wife stopped in the Seamless Gutters office and talked to the owner John about our situation on 4/17. John came to the house that night to quote the gutters. While he was here I had talked to him about the porch steps, and he suggested doing the gutters now, and see his work quality, then replace the porch after. My wife just wanted to get the porch done now and not worry about it later. John suggested putting a wood deck overlay on top the existing the concrete porch. His crew spent 3 days working on the house, beginning on 4/18. The gutters were done very well and even some soffit and fascia were repaired while they were working on it. While the gutters look good and functional, the porch was absolutely fabulous. The entire former concrete porch was covered with wood so it now looks like a true deck rather than just an unusable front porch. The new porch has full hand rails all the way around, no more kids jumping off the sides into the flower bed. The new steps are also complete with hand rails, making the front of the house look brand new. I was impressed by the quality of work and the politeness of the workers. The day the gutters were installed the area was hit by a rain storm. The rain surprisingly, did not detour the crew from working. Most contractors would stop work with the weather, and I would have expected them to do the same. The crew working on the porch as well as the crew working on the gutters continued working through the rain. The porch work took 2 1/2 days to complete, and the crew worked each night until 7 - 8 pm, much later than I would have expected any contractors to continue to work. We are already looking at other projects around the house to have Elite Seamless Gutters do in the future.

I had a ramp built so me and my husband and dogs would not fall. The old steps was getting bad. I also wanted some kind of covering to protect us from falling. They had these strips and put them in the middle of every 2 boards. I ask several several times as they were putting these down. Will these strips stay and can we shovel over it and that it wouldn't come off. His answer was no and no they would stay in place. I asked if they would stay even in rain and snow and ice. And can I shovel over it. He said yes and yes and yes. Okay then that fantastic. No it wasn't. First frost, my husband fell down the ramp as the strips were coming off! All 3 dogs fell at others time just during frost and some slight icing. I texted him and told him my husband fell & those strips are not staying down. What should we do as he said they would stay. He suggested a roll of grip paper and cover the whole ramp and then staple it down or nail it down. I ask how much (thinking that he would honor his job). Said the roll of grip paper is $40 & he would charge me $100 in labor. A total of $140. I said no thank you, that was too much as we already paid for the gripped ones. Never answered me. So his work is not honored if something they said will work didn't...We live on a tight budget and we are elderly and I am so very upset about it. I would not refer this man (sorry) for any other jobs for anyone.
