In the past, I've used a few different roofers to smaller jobs at our old home. Some were good, some were bad. One constant was always JIC. They were always professional, courteous, and thorough. A few months ago, we decided that the roof of our newer home was nearing the end of it's life. I contacted several local roofers, including JIC, for quotes. It was no surprise when the bid from Josh at JIC was the most complete and detailed of any of them. The warranty that JIC offered was also superior to what other roofers could provide (if anything!). Josh was also, by far, the easiest to contact. Josh readily responded to my emailed questions. This was in stark contrast to some other roofers who seemed more interested in playing phone tag than in earning my business. I accepted JIC's bid in October, assuming they'd get to us in the Spring. Josh said that they would try to squeeze us in before winter. In December, he kept to his word and called to say they were ready to go. I was a bit concerned with the temperatures being a bit on the cold side, but Josh reassured me that they were fully prepared to do the roofing work in cooler weather. He and his team arrived on time on the morning we agreed upon and immediately set to work. Over the next few days, they quickly performed all of the work as promised. Josh stopped by each evening to check on the crew's work, and we had several nice chats on the progress. He was very attentive and answered all of my questions. One thing that really impressed me is the complete lack of construction debris. I don't know how they did it, but I can't find one scrap of roofers felt, a bit of old shingle, or even any nails from their work. It's like they waved a magic wand and the roof was replaced. The only problem we encountered is that one of his guys accidentally tried to pull out one of our 12V landscape lights and damaged the wiring on the fixture. Josh was very apologetic and personally took care of repairing the wiring. The light's as good as new again. The roof looks amazing. We sleep well at night knowing that the roof over our heads will be solid & secure for many years to come. Thanks, JIC!
