Recent Review: Osprey sent mail advertisement that they repaired leaky roofs so I called. I also called another roofer but never received a response from them. Osprey's owner Ben called me back right a way and was over to look at what needed done within a few days. Since I was filing an insurance claim on the leaks I requested an estimate to send to our insurance adjuster. Ben's estimate was within pennies of the insurance estimate so I hired him and his team. An appointment was made within a reasonable time and the foreman with an assistant came at the appointed time to begin work. They fixed the first leak and attempted a fix on the second one, but it continued to leak. I let Osprey know of the problem and requested that they make additional repairs to fix that second leak. There was a lot of time that went by between the initial work and my receiving an invoice. The invoice, however, was not an accurate reflection of the work done, so I requested an accurate invoice and again requested that they let me know if they were going to return and fix the second leak. Again, after several weeks I received what they deemed a corrected invoice and a statement that they were not going to return to fix the second leak. They thought I should pay for their efforts on the second leak even though they had abandoned the job before fixing the problem and I would have to hire another contractor to do the job properly. I was very disappointed that our relationship broke down in this way.

Recent Review: It felt as though my small house was important to them. They even trimmed an overhanging tree back and left the house spotless. I also like how they gave me options to shingle over or remove the old and start new. They explained each one with the pros and cons of each. They were The only strike against them was communication. It seemed as though their office organization could tighten up and get some consistency. I have also waited until winter was over before posting because I wanted to see if the roof leaked. Absolutely no issues!

Recent Review: Mr. Holcomb was very responsive in coming to our house to provide an estimate (showing up only a couple hours after my call!). He had a very reasonable estimate called to me by the next day. My husband had considered doing our own "tear off" of the old roof, so I asked Mr. Holcomb to provide two estimates - one with all the work and the other simply installation of a new roof. The labor expense for the tear-off was so reasonable, we asked him to do the complete job. He ordered our desired shingle and started work within a few days. John and hIs crew arrived and performed the removal of the old roof basically within one day. They were respectful and cleaned up beautifully afterward. They returned to install the new roof right away (perhaps 1 day weather delay in there somewhere). The whole job (from initial call to new roof with complete clean-up) was complete within about 2 weeks. I had expected the process to take a couple months. The original roof leaked and we later found it was improperly installed. Our new roof is leak-free! We have a large, steep and complex roof which was done quickly, professionally and with a reasonable price. We are grateful for his high quality service.

Recent Review: I have a flat carport roof that has been leaking and decided to have the roof repaired. After getting some estimates from two other contractors, I hired B&B Construction to do the repairs. I explained to the company owner that the carport roof had been leaking and showed him the locations. His solution was to put down a new torch down roof over the old existing flat roof. After the job was completed it rained one or two days later and the roof leaked in the same location as before. I called B&B Construction and they sent the person who did the repairs to my house that day and he put some roof caulking along the edge of the house roof and the carport roof. The next time it rained the roof continued to leak. I called B&B Construction and did not receive a response for about three days. When the owner finally showed up he could not figure out where the leak was coming from. I suggested that maybe the water was going under the roof drip edge and then under the new torch down roof. He offered to put down roof patching compound on the house roof and more caulking along the edge to stop the leak for an additional fee of one hundred dollars. I decided to do this repair myself with guidance from the contractor on what to do and what supplies I would need. I did what he suggested and the roof is still leaking.

very quick. A little too quick. Found about 20 nail heads showing after completed. Called owner and he came back and covered about 5 in white caulk(on a dark brown roof). Went up and fixed roof myself.
