Recent Review: This is the most understanding man I have ever met. He gave me an estimate that was a tenth of what i thought anyone would charge me for the service that needs to be done. I figured it was going to be 3,000 - he said he would charge $375.00. He has to pick up the stuff, load his outfit, and drive many miles to do the job. It is going to take him HOURS to pick up all that stuff and dump it. He even said he would check to see if other land fills would let him dump for free so he could make it even cheaper for me. You couldn't ask for anyone that is more willing or compassionate. He really gets a triple A rating!

Recent Review: They came in, completed the work in what I thought was super fast, it took them a few partial days.  They hauled all the old building materials away.  Every time I came home from work I had neighbors in my yard staring at my french doors.  (They love them but probably not as much as me.)

Recent Review: Crew of 2 showed up on time. Discussed our plan. Excess junk in the basement and garage bordering on hoarding. The guys worked hard to get rid of what I needed removed. Very professional. Gave me suggestions for doing a more thorough clean out. Filled a truck. Off it went! So grateful to them! This was a real value. I will use them again once I get the rest organized. Told me if we put what we want in one part of the basement or garage they would handle the rest - including any trash. Would definitely recommend them.

Recent Review: Everything went awesome. My wife and I went and picked out the materials (toilet, linoleum) and work started the next day. It was a quick one day job to replace the sub-floor lay the linoleum set the toilet and caulk everything in. The work was done professionally, cleanly and very quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Blackburn Handyman to anyone.

Recent Review: Contractor called me each time to make sure it would be an appropriate time for him to make the repairs.  When the original job of adding weather stripping  increased to the adding of a new garage entry door because of age-related warping, the contractor was upfront with what the additional costs would be and allowed me to make the determination on how to proceed with the repair.  I added a request to repair the light switch at the end of the last day and the contractor took the time to do this small job even though it was already late in the day.  I was pleased with the contractor's services.  I am happy to find a handyman I can trust to make repairs to my house.  He was interested and knowledgeable about  the jobs he performed.  His price quotes matched those prices on his ending invoice.  I had no surprises when receiving the bill.

AGone For Good
The overall service went very well.  The workers all worked very hard and were diligent about getting as much stuff in the truck as possible.  The only set back we had was that I thought we had an agreement where if I wanted to upgrade the truck, they could still do it at the coupon price.  That wasn't the case, but other than that, everything turned out great.

AHandyman Matters
Handyman Matters was on time and able to take care of a variety of tasks in one visit. Their craftsman did an excellent job: high-quality work and excellent service. He was very careful to be thorough and to leave each work site clean and tidy. I would be happy to refer Handyman Matters to my friends. I have already scheduled their next visit; I have more tasks that need to be done around my house.

ADAN TOLSON CONSTRUCTION
Dan did an excellent job, especially considering that I live out of state and was unable to be on the job-site for consultation.  He quickly understood our needs and provided useful assistance in planning and selection of materials, his communication was always professional and to the point, and the completed project was within budget and exceeded our expectations.  Although the fact that the house was unoccupied and the owners were not readily available resulted in some unexpected delays, the work was completed as quickly as could be expected.  I plan to use Dan's services next time the need arises.

DDefinitive Landscapes & Concrete, LLC
Did not provide us a written estimate as requested. Verbal estimate very loose-$800-$1200 but actual service ended up being $1600. Charged separately for hauling clippings which should be included in services at $54 an hour. No itemized final billing. Owner came at end of job to collect payment only. Did not bring all fill rock promised after they were paid. Friendly but not terribly trustworthy, we were very disappointed since we had found them recommended on Angie's List. Have since found they are most expensive in Valley. We have ongoing landscaping, year round but will not use them again. Just terribly disappointed with whole experience. Really wanted them to work out. We are retired and on fixed income...this hurt.

FHandyman Inc.
Warning - Do Not Use!! Wanted $6000.00, then 2000.00, then 1000.00. Bought material, damaged areas in home and never completed installation and have not heard from him or crew since. Mark Pitman, owner, did not do a thing, just collect and cash checks.  Not state licensed contractor, bonded or insured. Just a crook, rip off artist and predator.  Pays help "under the table".

CAll American Remodeling & Handyman Services
The service took more than a month between initial contact and job commencement. Several times, the provider came over to take measurements that appeared to be the same measurements that had been taken before. The same was true with grout color matching - it had to be done several times. On more than one occasion, the workman would appear at the appointed time to commence work and then take a several-hours long trip to Lowe's for materials, rather than arriving prepared to work. The provider charged a 3% fee associated with the use of a credit card, vice check or cash.
