Business Description: I DO NOT PAINT HOUSES. I do Paint Color Consulting for Historic and all Other Homes by Email. Choosing exterior historic paint colors for your house is not easy. Our paint color consulting service makes it a lot easier. Historic homes are our specialty but we also do newer homes. We show you photos of your house in various house color schemes and period paint colors as if it were actually painted. We do NOT use colored pencils or gimmicky paint color visualizers as others do. Our paint color renderings look totally real as if your house was photographed after it was painted the chosen colors. The biggest mistake homeowners make when painting their house is color placement. Bad color placement can really upset the architectural balance of a house. We are curb appeal experts and will honestly critique your house. You may not like the truth but we will advise you where the problems are and what you can do to make your house look its best. Check out the before and after photos in our website’s portfolio. Also visit our web page for detailed information on our virtual house painting service and how it works. Our website is very educational and all owners of an older home should read it if you care about your house. Prices start at $250. The average price is about $400. Prices depend on number and style of windows, if there are trees in front of the house, architectural details etc. Email us with a large size photo of your house and we will be happy to provide a quote.

Recent Review: Leslie Painting painted all of the trim, gables etc., on my recently purchased home which is about 60% brick. Everything but the brick needed paint in a bad way as it had been neglected by the previous owner. They also painted a front porch (concrete), back porch (wood) and my front door. Lonnie Leslie and his assistants did all of the prep work including powerwashing, scraping, sanding and application of linseed oil to some raw wood that was revealed during prep work. This was done to seal it prior to painting. They caulked where needed prior to painting. Lonnie gave me a couple of paint options that he had used with good results in the past, and I chose the higher end paint after doing some checking around. They were prompt, being there when they said they would. I never felt that they were rushing to get the job done, which, in my experience usually leads to sloppy work. I felt like they took their time and did it right. Being mostly trim, it was tedious work. Lonnie had some good ideas when it came to colors that complemented one another. After the job was done, Lonnie said he'd be back next year to make sure we were still satisfied with everything, and if necessary, do any needed touch up. All in all, I'd say that they did an excellent job at a reasonable price.

Recent Review: Did a  nice job, had good people working for them, seemed to have a specialist in each phase (i.e., men for heavy duty stuff, good  painter, nice caulking, well fitting linoleum, nice removal of old wallpaper--without damaging the walls, good matching of baseboard joints, and no leaks afterward from the new toilet seal) We appreciated the owner spending his time helping us pick out the materials, and his (and his workers) concern that we be satisfied. The owner also kept us well-informed as to his progress in getting materials.  Also, all the workers were polite, and nice to be around. They did not seem to have a lot of experience with wallpaper, as the original estimate of the amount of wallpaper needed was too loo low to match patterns. However,  the fact that wallpaper was not recommended for steamy areas led us change our minds anyway, and go with painting -- which was well done. We would definitely use this contractor again.

Lonnie Les"lie" Painting One LIE after another... It started with I'll be there tomorrow and we will get this knocked out... WE are So sorry we hired Lonnie Leslie Painting and gave him a $900.00 deposit in good faith. Now he will not show up or do the work contracted. The little amount of work he did on our fascia was undetectable the boards where the wrong size in thickness and cut to short leaving a 3/4 inch gap at the top he tried to hide under the drip edge, corners where not miter cut, it was a sloppy mess we had to replace it and do it correctly our self's excepting he is not a Carpenter but a painter we fixed it and ask him to complete the work contracted. They left nails and screws in the grass board with nail laying on the ground which we also had to clean up (we have children in our home). NO SHOW -NO CALL -UNANSWERED MESSAGES 33 days latter and he is refusing to show up and complete the job. It has been a nightmare... We found out he is not licensed or bonded with Bannock county which means he is not a legally a contractor. We are taking him so small claim court to get our money back so we can get our home painted.

The job went GREAT!  Mike was pleasant to work with and was always willing to go the extra mile.  We kept adding to the job and he was happy to accommodate us!

We are very pleased with the job Dennis and his team did in our home. Short and sweet, he did the job with no hassles, no unexpected expenses, no time extensions, no excuses. He was as close to perfect as I have ever seen in the contractor industry.
