Recent Review: I contacted PEA construction using Angie's List as my reference.  My first call was answered and Pedro agreed to come look at my project and give me an estimate.  I was up against a tight time frame which luckily fit into PEA's schedule very well.  Pedro arrived on time and gave me an estimate that seemed very reasonable.  Since my schedule wasn't flexible I agreed to use PEA immediately.  We agreed on a start time and he told me how much of each tile material he was going to need for each bathroom.  He even suggested where to buy the most economical tile which is exactly where I purchased from.  Pedro showed up exactly when he said he would and layer down protective coverings for the wood and carpet floors where he was going to walk on.  Pedro carefully removed all of the old materials from each bathroom and minimized the demolition residue so the house stayed as clean as possible with major construction work going on in the home.  Early on in the project there was a change that required additional work so that our new shower door would fit properly.  Pedro worked with the shower door rep. very well and they agreed on what changes would be required.  Pedro did exactly what was needed and didn't charge me more for that change (I paid him a TIP to hopefully cover that extra work).  Pedro was in my home for about two weeks.  Some days were longer (6-7 hours) and some days shorter (1-2 hours).  Every day Pedro picked up the areas he worked in and stored his tools out of the way.  Pedro is a friendly man and we hit if off immediately.  I often times had to leave Pedro in my home alone to run errands but I never felt uncomfortable doing it.  Pedro and my Yellow Lab became good friends during the time he was here.  The end results were outstanding and we are very happy with our new bathrooms.  I would definitely use PEA again.   PS...my daughter was having her bathroom remodeled around the same time and she asked PEA to complete her tile work based on the excellent job Pedro did at my home.  Pedro was able to fit her job in the following week and they are also very happy with the quality of work PEA does and his price.

Recent Review: Waterware is a plumbing fixture showroom.  The showroom is a decent size for a small business and has higher end fixtures for bath and showers.  Went to the showroom as it was recommended by my plumber.  The person in charge of Waterware was very friendly and knowledgeable.  Was very helpful while in the store.  The responsiveness in getting in touch with Waterware after leaving the store was not great.  E-mail responses came but were slow.  Tried to order an additional part and never received a call back.

Recent Review: I was very happy with the results.  They consulted me on options I didn't know I had and customized the replacement fixtures and built a bathroom cabinet according to how I wanted the drawers and hardware, countertop, new sink and fixtures, plus stained the cabinet to match the rest of the wood in my bathroom ... all of this was much more than just plumbing and checking drains.  I was happy the project was done by one company.  Very satisfied.  The only problem was arriving on the agreed time for a few days and not communicating with me -- left me feeling like a prisoner in my home waiting -- all that was ironed out -- easy to work with.

Reviews in Parma for Installing Plumbing Fixtures

AAccurbore Inc
This was a relatively small job so we were happy that a reputable plumber was willing to work it into their schedule.  We were updating a powder room in our home.  Accubore took the time to properly install a faucet and other bathroom fixtures.   They saved time and labor costs by asking for photos of the job in advance and advising us which type of fixtures would be best for the project.  They were extra careful not to damage new wallpaper (which in hindsight should have been installed after the fixtures!).  We appreciated the attention to detail and concern for doing a high quality job.  The job was completed in a reasonable amount of time and for a reasonable price.  More importantly, it was done right the first time.

ANearman Construction Services
Mark Nearman was very professional, requiring an email exchange until we came to an agreement on all of the items to be done. He sent me a final list of items with the cost, and I approved it, knowing we were on the same page. But, I worked at the house doing some other tasks and would notice additional items that needed to be done. I just texted Mark, and he added them with no problem. Mark's work was flawless. He replaced trim on a large kitchen counter, and somehow matched it and installed it so perfectly I couldn't tell it wasn't original. And he even added better support behind the trim so it wouldn't break again. He also enclosed a loft bedroom so perfectly, there is no way to tell from the texturing or construction that it wasn't always that way. I was blown away by the quality of his work. Mark was a pleasure to work with, because he is one of very few contractors I've worked with whose word is good. I quickly trusted him enough to just give him a key, and he let the plumber in and managed his work, too. Mark hired a plumber and oversaw his work to replace all the sinks and plumbing fixtures. I didn't ask about the quality of plumbing fixtures, and they ended up being very good American Standard and Moen, which was great! In fact, he called the plumber back to redo a couple of things that weren't as he preferred them to be installed. Mark noticed that the stairs creaked badly, and jumped in whilie carpet was up to screw down the floor to fix it, without my even asking. I am a big fan of "Holmes on Homes" and so I'm leery of contractors after seeing the messes Mike Holmes cleans up and after some of my own nightmare experiences. But after working with Mark Nearman this past week, I'm relieved to have found a contractor who knows how to "do it right."

ASOCKEYE CONSTRUCTION LLC
Curtis is a straight-forward, honest, small business owner and stable family man. He met with us several times to discuss parameters and worked diligently to keep costs down. He was always available by phone, worked extremely hard (nights and weekends) to meet our time table and kept the job site clean at all times. His ideas and referral to a designer were invaluable to making the project a success. Many of his sub-contractors have worked for him 5+ years and he personally supervised them to make sure they understood what was expected of them, did troubleshooting and handled any glitches. He has a great sense of humor and we plan to hire him for our next house's remodel.

Everything from scheduling to installation went smoothly with no problems whatsoever. Mr. Parks is a consummate professional. By this I mean the following. 1 Communication was clear and consistent. He called when he said he would. 2 He arrived on time. 3. He had all the correct parts & tools for the job. 4. He was pleasant & personable without being overly talkative. 5. He worked quietly, quickly and efficiently. I was within earshot and sight most of the time. He did not need anything from me except some paper towels to wipe up some water near the end. 6. Although his phone rang a couple of times, he kept it brief. He informed the callers he was "on a job" & would call them back later. I really appreciated this as time is money when it comes to plumbing.  7. When 2 problems came up- A warped sink and a crack in the bottom of the second one, he knew what to do to remedy the situation. He educated me with regard to choosing quality plumbing fixtures.  The issue I had were unforeseeable as the products were sealed in their original boxes. We worked together to solve the  problems and use the materials at hand. 8. He left my bathroom in great condition and did an excellent job cleaning up after himself.(I've had workmen forget their jackets,  tools or worse yet forget to leave the instruction manuals or warranties!) In conclusion, I would recommend Mr. Parks & Accurbore if you want your job done right for a fair price.
