I was asked to do this review by a friend. I have never done a negative review before. My attitude is that if you can?t say something nice, don?t say anything. She said I needed to share my experience, because people need to take it into account when making a decision. I hired B & K Painting to paint the entire interior of my home & the exterior trim, doors, windows, gate, & garage. My experience with this company was very bad. In my basement they painted everything the wall color?. I mean everything, the trim, the fireplace, inside the closets, inside drawers, half of the hot water heater room?. & I could on. I brought these issues to the owners attention & most of these items were taken care of. The exterior windows had lead paint. I was told how carefully this would be handled & this was one of the main reasons that I hired this company. Oh my god, what a nightmare. Instead, they used a blower to blow the scraped off paint into my yard. The way that this was remedied was horrible & It was such an uncomfortable experience. I was treated like my concerns were out of line & that I was over=reacting. Over the next few months I discovered the rest of the items below. The reason I didn?t call them back was because my experience was so uncomfortable. It was easier to take care of the issues myself. Below are a few of the items that I was left with. My electrician removed the lighting fixture covers to make it easier for them to paint & they left paint on allot of the fixtures. There was wall paint left on my bathroom, both bedrooms, & front door. There was wall paint left on my kitchen floor, back porch floor, hallway, & laundry room floor. I have never been able to get the paint off of my laundry room floor. On the exterior, so many areas that should of been caulked were not. The garage, the gate, & most of the basement windows began to peel about 1.5 years after the work was done. They give me small containers of each color of wall paint, so that I could touch up the walls as needed. I thought this was a wonderful service. A few of them went bad, so I headed off to get a gallon of the paint that had been used. The name was on the side of the container & I had ordered the more expensive Sherman Williams no/low VOC paints. When I had the store make up the paint I needed, none of it matched what was on the walls. The stores guess is that the painting company ordered the color I wanted in a cheaper base & unless I could find out what that base was, my wall color could not be matched. So, I was out of luck. I could go on? but? you get the idea.
