Recent Review: We first contacted Russ/Par Construction in July 2011 for the completion of the main floor of our home that we had begun building "out of pocket" in April 2006.  At the beginning of the job we had advised Russ we had high expectations and had a tendency to be "picky".  He assured us our expectations would be met.  He told us if we were not happy with something, let him know and he would make sure it was done until we were.  He delivered on his word!  Russ and the crew of Par Construction went above and beyond in helping us achieve our dream home!    In July 2011, he brought in a cabinet maker for our kitchen, buffet, laundry room, livingroom built-ins, master bdrm built-ins and 2 bathroom vanities.  With the exception of the laundry cabinets, they were all made from stain-grade material.  Upon completion of all the cabinetry Russ and his crew installed them flawlessly.  In June 2012, we asked Russ/Par Construction back to help complete the next phase of finishing our main floor.  All of our windows, trim, doors, molding and cabinetry is stained.  When installing the trim/molding around doors, windows, cabinets, etc, they had to make sure all cuts were done with precision so each joint would meet flawlessly as there was no covering anything up with caulk and paint.  When a piece of molding and/or trim was cut, each cut end was stained so no bare wood would show.  If a joint did not fit together properly, they kept at it until it did.  The windows required the majority of work as the casings were not all flush with the sheetrock.  So, they had to plane the window casings to get the trim to lay flat on the wall and on the casing.  This is all stained wood, so they had to by very detailed and precise as there was no covering it up with caulk and paint.    In July 2013, we asked Par Construction back to install transition strip between hardwood floor and tile and the perimeter of the hardwood floor and base trim, around main floor, kitchen island, decorative base molding around kitchen cabinets and buffet.  All of this is stained, so again, they had to make sure all cuts were done precisely and each joint met without any gaps.  The trim around the hardwood floor required precision joinery and it was done beautifully.  Russ made sure we were happy every step of the way.  If something didn't meet our expectations, he put in his own time to redo it and make sure it did meet our expectations.  We would definitely call Russ/Par Construction back for any other project we would need his services for!  Greg and Tamie, Elk, WA

Recent Review: Overall, Jon did a good job. The project took about twice the time anticipated. I felt he was very sensitive to my budget and kept costs low.

Recent Review: We wanted white painted maple cabinets that would reach all the way to our 9 foot ceilings and have crown molding that reflected the era of our 100 year old house. We received 4 bids and designs. There were multiple reasons we chose ACC over the other companies. First off, their price was the best, they beat some of the less 'custom' companies in town. Second, Jan, our salesman and designer was definitely the most responsive to our needs. He took the time to sit down with us on multiple occasions, discuss with us what is standard in a kitchen, what our particular situation and needs were, and brain storm and make accommodations to fit our needs (and to fit our rather small awkward kitchen with angled ceilings and 5 doorways). Third, some of the features offered such as a "Barrel Wrapped Lazy Susan", which is great because nothing can fall off, were not offered by other local cabinet companies also many of the customized features such as spice racks and tray holders were included in the price while other companies nickled and dimed each of those as extras. The crew that came out to install was great, and I especially appreciated that Jan came out on the day of install to check and make sure I was happy and that all was going smooth. I've had other experiences where once the salesman sells you he is done, but Jan definitely viewed our project as his from start to finish. He even installed the hardware later on, which was back-ordered, himself. We are very happy with our cabinets.
