Recent Review: They were very good at listening and communicating and left the areas where they worked as clean as when they arrived. Our electrician did find a box in the attic (empty cardboard box) but as this is a newish house I don't know if that was already there. The humidifier developed a leak at the water heater but they came out immediately and fixed it with no charge. Overall a very easy and satisfactory experience. Everything has been working as expected. The increased returns in the bedrooms have made a very positive difference in air flow. All in all highly recommended.

Recent Review: Tyrel and Trenton were the technicians who showed up with the salesman, MIke 15 minutes early.  Mike made the introductions and Tyrel and Trenton started immediately. They were prompt, courteous and even moved my garbage cans out to where the garbage truck could access them because their truck was parked in front of the house and I had parked my care in the way after dropping kids at school that morning.  I work out of my house and they were not bothered by my dogs and let me kinow when they were going to drill or make noise that might disturb my work.  They worked from 0845 - 1700 and hauled my old equipment away, so I didn't have to make a trip to the dump.  At the end of the day, they ran me through the thermostat controls and left me with the manuals, business cards and advised I would be receiving a call from April to schedule a city building code inspector to review their work within a business day or 2.  Tyrel and Trenton were fast, efficient and very nice to talk to.  I could not have asked for any better experience and will definitely recommend A-1 to friends and neighbors.

Recent Review: Good. They showed up on time and worked in the cold to remove the original furnace and air conditioner and install new ones. Since it took two days, they provided space heaters to help keep the house warm. The only thing that we do not like is the system is louder than the original system so they came back and adjusted the air flow. It helped a little bit but it is still louder.

Recent Review: They were able to meet my scheduling needs in setting up the appointment. Adrian called ahead to give me notice & was on time. He was dressed in company uniform & very professional. It took him about an hour to provide the service. He noticed a couple items that were still functioning properly but showed some signs of wear to keep an eye on. He made some adjustments to get a little more air to the upsatirs bonus room & made a suggestion for an adjustment to the air flow that I could make in the winter. Excellent overall experience. Would definitely use their service in the future & highly recommed.

The tech was here for an hour. He cleaned the coils out side checked the charge , checked the electrical system. He also cleaned, oiled fans, checked the dehumidifier,cleaned filters. He came inside and took the temperature at the vents.When he was satisfied that the system was up to standard, He had me sign with my finger and there were no charges.

It was a nightmare!  In December, I had water poring uncontrollably from a hose located above my humidifier, a problem which started as soon as I removed the humidifier's filter.  I had to continually fill up water glasses--one after another--to prevent the water from going down into the furnace itself, where there were a lot of wires. When I called Right Now, they told me they had other calls ahead of me due to the very cold temperature.  I was sympathetic, of course, but I had a very dangerous situation not to mention my furnace would have been ruined entirely--and by their BAD advice.  It took well over an hour to get someone out, who knew about as much about furnaces as I did and only confirmed that there was no shut-off valve located anywhere we could see.   The company then sent out a technician who appeared to know about furnaces, but did not solve the problem.  Worse, the guy came who came out, supposedly diagnosed the problem and corrected it by (as he stated) using some workaround.  That was all fine, except I also had been having extreme humidity problems in the house (causing damage to the paint on my windows and moisture damage to one wall), which I had mentioned to the guy, and which was not corrected by his visit.  The leak the guy had supposedly fixed was NOT fixed as it turned out.  A month later, United Water told me they could tell there was a leak somewhere in my house so I called my plumber, who was able to track the leak to the humidifier!  I then called Jim's, who came out and noted that not only was the solenoid valve not fixed (although Right Now said they fixed it) but water was dripping down through the humidifier causing the moisture problem, plus the thermostat was broken!  Of course, I had to pay Jim's over $100 to find this out.  So, this company cost me over $260 for NOTHING.  The water to the humidifier is now shut off and I've had no further moisture issues.  I just spent $260 for nothing.  I would never recommend Right Now.

Today it went really well!! The technician, Brian, went above and beyond. He is so knowledgeable!! He was very thorough. He told me what he was doing and why and he gave me a suggestion how to live even more comfortably in my home. My mother and I are older adults and we've been having trouble with our sinuses this winter and last. He suggested we get a humidifier attached to the HVAC system. I am so excited to get that done and feel better!!

On the recommendation of a co-worker, we called Jim's to purchase and install a new furnace and air conditioner in 2010. We were satisfied with the customer service, quality of products, and price Jim's provided so we called the company to replace our old ductwork a year later. In fact, we were so confident in Jim's Heating and Air Conditioning that we did not call other companies for bids. The salesman thoroughly explained the work that would be done, the materials that would be used, and what we could expect during installation. He patiently answered all our questions. On installation day Jim's sent two workers to our house. They were on time, friendly, polite, professional, and hard-working. Our house has a crawl space with pony walls (?) which slowed progress. In spite of that, they completed the work on our 1350 square foot house in one day. The result of their work provided us with a more powerful air flow, greater comfort, and lower gas and electric bills. Over a year later, we weren't getting air flow out of one of the vents. I called Jim's who promptly sent a repairman out and he discovered one of the ducts had come loose. The repairman spent an hour in the crawl space reattaching the duct and checking the remaining ductwork to make sure there were no problems elsewhere. Although my one-year warranty was up, I was told there would be no charge for the repair.
