Recent Review: First of all, my experience was mixed, but I feel the company was very professional and fair in making up for an initial difficulty with scheduling. If the scheduling problems had not happened, then I would certainly give them an A. They company has also assured me that the scheduling issues have been resolved, so I feel positive about using them in the future. I purchased an hour of electrician's time through Yollar for $60. I scheduled an appointment for a couple of hours after another service person was coming to my home for a different reason. I was given a widow of time for the technician to arrive. Because I had two people coming that day, I took the day off. However, the window of time soon passed, so I called the office to find out how much longer the tech would be. The woman who answered the phone explained that she'd been trying to reach me, but couldn't, so she hadn't sent the electrician, yet. She read me the phone number, but she had the numbers transposed. I gave her the correct number, and she said she'd pass it on to the electrician. I waited and waited, but 5pm came, and he still hadn't arrived. The appointment was on a Friday. I called again, and got the answering service. I explained the situation, and the operator said someone would call me back. I did receive a call from a different woman. She explained again about the wrong number, but I told her I'd called with the correct number. She said it hadn't been passed on to the electrician, and she would schedule me for another date, and even though she didn't have the scheduling book with her, she assured me she would make that any day I picked work. The day and time of the second appointment arrived, and no one showed up. I called and spoke with a man. He explained that no appointment was scheduled, so I told him the whole story from start to finish. He apologized sincerely and explained that they had a new employee who wasn't working out. He rescheduled the appointment. He was even willing to schedule it on a Saturday, because I'd gone through so much already. I rescheduled the appointment, and this time, Paul, the electrician was even a few minutes early. He tried to explain about the phone number problem in the first place, but he didn't know I'd called and corrected it the day of the first appointment. Paul was fantastic. Very helpful, and friendly. I had a few random jobs for him aside from the outlet he replaced in the bedroom. I also asked his advice about lighting for my kitchen. He gave very thoughtful answers, and put up with me trying to figure out the do-it-yourself electrical wiring in the backyard the previous owner had done. I would hire him to come again even without a Yollar deal (although that is what enabled me to hire RME this time). Next time, I will call to confirm the appointment the day before, though. That would have been the smart thing for me to have done in the first place, along with confirming they had the correct phone number. I feel my experience with the scheduling was an anomaly, and based on the professional response to the problem, I feel they did what they could to make up for it.
