Recent Review: His name is Scott Gibbs. He has been very good. He did a beautiful job and was very particular about what he did. He is always very polite and he cleans up everything after himself. I never had to worry about checking on him. He is very trustworthy. He is good enough that he is very busy. His prices are average.
Recent Review: Wow! Thomas is an awesome guy and does good, honest work. He left after fixing all my issues and finding/fixing a few other things I hadn't even thought of. Great conversation, great work & will definitely hire again. Eric & Lamia

CAnykind Handyman & Construction
They were not helpful and forthcoming. I wasn?t thrilled and happy. So I didn?t hire them. There are some people who aren?t very helpful unless you know them and it is a very small community over here. I needed someone to come in and do some things since I am a single woman. I would ask people to make sure before hiring them. The handyman is probably a nice man and probably does good work, if given a chance. It?s not my nature to badmouth somebody who I really don?t know. It took me three phone calls in order to get one which lasted about a minute and he told me that he would let me know if he could get around to it. He probably could have done some work. I didn?t get a chance to work or see what he could do, but I didn?t like the way it transpired. He didn?t conduct himself professionally. I would not use his services in the future.

AThe Problem Solver : Timely & Simply Professional Solutions
UNBELIEVABLE!!! Their name says it all! My tenants trashed my condo & I had 6 days to fly to CA from the Midwest to get everything repaired/replaced. Understanding my limited timeframe, "The Problem Solvers" agreed to meet me at the condo on a SUNDAY to assess the damage & give me an estimate. The quote was extremely fair & comprehensive & they started work the next day. The crew arrived right on schedule & began masking & prepping to paint & sand doors. They were extremely thorough & careful. They even assisted me in choosing a paint color. Their knowledge regarding what specific products to use was extraordinary. The workers were very professional & total gentlemen. It was a pleasure to have them working in the condo. They were above & beyond & were willing to do everything on my list within my timeframe. Some nights they stayed until 9:00pm to complete my side projects. Other companies I have used couldn't wait to leave when the clock struck 5:00. The work was completed within my timeframe because they were willing to work on the weekend! Thomas from "The Problem Solvers" came by on a regular basis to assess the progress. They were extremely organized & always had the materials they needed. Some days they would bring lumber for the deck boards, fence shelves, kitchen trim, & laundry room shelves. They stained them on the spot. There was no running out to buy materials. Thomas & "The Problem Solvers" provided licensed individuals for plumbing & electrical issues. I have never worked with a company that could do it all! They truly solved my problems! I can't speak highly enough of their services! I am so relieved that I have an awesome company to rely on when I have a problem with anything. I highly recommend "The Problem Solver Simply Professional Services."

Kevin is very detail oriented. If the task is too much for him, he calls in a specialist. I live two hours from this lake house, and he is johnny-on-the-spot when a problem arises that I'm notified about. His work is extremely professional. He is efficient and always goes the extra mile even when not asked. I am confident when he is on the job that any task he is asked to complete will be completed beyond my expectations. He's well acquainted with the lake personnel and highly respected in his field. His charges are what I'm used to paying for the same services in Des Moines, IA; however, I feel that his work is better. He has that small-town work ethic that I miss in the city. He is extremely honest. He has a key to my lake house, and I feel confident knowing that he has one. I wish that I would have utilized Kevin and his crew many years before I did. He also has done work for two of my Des Moines friends that also have lake homes in Sun Valley. I know that they would concur with everything I'm saying.

I am in a town 30 miles away from Des Moines. In my request, asked if he would come to my house. Client responded by saying it is not his normal service area, but that I could call him, and we would discuss. I called and left a message on the number he provided. Did not hear back. Went to his website and pulled off a different number. Spoke w/ his wife and she said she would pass the message on. Never had a response. I can understand the 'handyman" not wanting to drive 30 miles, however I wish he would not have told me he would discuss it if he wasn't going to call me back. I had a good day's worth of "little jobs" (hanging doors, swapping out outlets, etc) and had offered additional (substantial) work in the future. My house was built in the '40s and needs electrical, HVAC, plumbing, you name it.Oh well, I shall continue to search for a handyman willing to come to my town.

AHome Improvement 4 Less
Everything on this project has progressed smoothly from start to the current stage. There were no real hiccups that weren't easily dealt with. A wall was moved, which put a heater vent from inside to outside the bathroom. They simply cut a new hole inside the bathroom, and covered over the old vent with wood flooring - matches perfectly. The owner, Rick, was always very upfront obout any concerns, kept me up to date on the daily progress, and where we stood financially. I was never surprised at any numbers, as I knew exactly where we were. That specifically allowed me to put this particular project on hold so that I could focus on a couple others. Had I not chosen this specific shower system, I know the project would be complete and have cost significantly less (fixtures were a large part of the expense, and not the labor or general materials). I couldn't be more satisfied with how things are progressing. I look forward to the finished project! Excellent work, Home Improvement 4 Less!
