Recent Review: Just the way I thought. They came, did their job efficiently and did not make a mess. They were perfect. Windows are nice and clean, letting all the glorious sunlight in. Remove some dirt from a wall above the fireplace in a vaulted ceiling living room.

Recent Review: e!Even though he had suffered a recent knee injury and surgery and was still recovering, he stopped by to look at the area we were concerned about and said after he was a bit better he would come by and fix it. Well, true to his word he came back at his first opportunity (or at least sooner than we expected) and fixed the cracks in the wall and near our ceiling. He also re-painted the areas and left us a nearly full can of paint for future touch ups. He did a great job and with virtually no contact from us and did all this work for no charge!

Recent Review: These are professional, punctual, clean people that you can trust to have in your home. They have integrity. What they say they will do, they will do. No complaints. I wouldn't use anyone else. My only hesitation in sharing about them is that they will become so busy I will have trouble getting them the next time!!

Recent Review: We did a DIY replacement of our living room drywall.  We also taped and mudded the joints ourselves.  Our DIY tape job almost immediately started cracking, peeling, and popping out of the dried mud.  So we hired Leffler's to repair the bad drywall joints.  They replaced all the joint tape and re-mudded it.  They also filled holes and repaired torn drywall paper throughout the room.  It now has a professional finish that looks drastically better than our DIY job.  Leffler's also skim coated over an old 1980's textured wall surface in our bedroom.  Their drywall finisher did an outstanding job.  He coated over the old texture to a perfectly smooth finish, leveled big lumps that were on most of the ceiling's drywall joints, and leveled big bumps that were around the light switch and outlets.  Our light switch and outlet covers now sit flush against the wall for the first time.  Highly recommend Leffler's skim coating to anybody who wants to smooth out and level a textured wall surface.  Price was for a 23 X 13 foot living room and 11 X 11 foot bedroom.

Bob was punctual and professional. The job was done quickly and efficiently. It did take him a couple days to respond to my inquiry. He did look at a potential job for my deck, but was not interested in the job when I told him a permit would be required. I was pleased with the work he did, and would definitely use him again for smaller jobs and traditional home construction work.

ALight Touches Home Improvement
Extremely happy with work done! Repairs turned out so much better than I had hoped. I watched Carole as she did the work. I was impressed not only by the work she did but also how she worked. First of all she had the proper tools for the job at hand. I just cringe when someone is doing work with a tool that's almost right...seems like that's when damage and mistakes happen. She made sure the work area was cleared of anything that could be damaged or get dusty. Plus, she cleaned up after herself. In fact, she had to move an appliance out to do one of the tasks I had asked her to do. Before putting the appliance back into place, she asked for some Pine-Sol and washed the floor where the appliance was located. What a nice surprise! I took a peek into the attic while she worked up there. I saw a bunch of electrical wire scraps left behind from an electrician. I wasn't very happy to see he had left all of that up there. Carol was kind enough to put it all into a large garbage bag and take it outside to the trash. She goes way above and beyond what I expected. I also found her prices to be very reasonable. In my opinion, she is a very honest and hard working person. She will be returning in the spring to do some interior painting and a bathroom remodel. I'm so very happy to have found a very decent home improvement person.

DJack Painting & Drywall
Kevin was very responsive and personable, and appeared to be knowledgeable about the drywall and painting industry. His price quote was very comparable to other contractors. Although Kevin did a great job with the drywall - matched new texture to existing texture in corner of kitchen - the patching he did throughout the kitchen/dining was inconsistent and he missed several areas, even after pointing this out several times. Key areas of complaint - Painting - The trim, wall and ceiling painting performed by Kevin was unacceptable. He did not paint the ceiling, as he stated - the pencil marks from the electrician were still showing, as was a previous water stain on ceiling - and did not even put a full coat of paint on walls. There are more than a dozen areas with paint drips along the trim. Kevin was also supposed to  prime and paint three brand new, unfinished oak doors. He attempted to but did not sand the door, or properly prime, and the paint did not adhere properly. We were very surprised when Kevin said that's the best he could make it. Although Kevin stated he used tarps to cover our new wood flooring, there was substantial overspray and paint smears - along the entire perimeter of our kitchen/dining room. He only partially calked the trim/cabinets, and partially filled nail holes.  In addition to the unacceptable craftsmanship, Kevin was very disorderly, almost careless and left our home quite messy. Kevin's attention to detail was poor, certainly not that of a finisher, and he cost us over twice as much as his quote - nearly $2400 - to repair the damage he did.  I would not recommend Kevin for any home improvement work.

The day Bob came over to see what we wanted done. Bob made suggestions and they were GREAT suggestions. He was on time the whole time that he was working on our kitchen. Bob is a very hard worker and he wanted to stay on schedule and he did. Bob and his son worked very hard and long hours. Bob even worked on Saturday and Sunday. Bob asked us if we wouldn't mind him working the weekend. Comminication between us and Bob was EXCELLENT. The Bid DID NOT GO UP. We have dogs and he was consistent about remembering that they needed to go out. Bob's workmanship is excellent. When our kitchen and pantry was done I couldn't believe it. It was more than I thought it would be. We will not hesitiate calling Bob again when we want something else done.

It was astounding what he did. He was so professional. We were not prepared for the move at all. When we sold our building, we didn't expect an "instant" closing. We had to move quickly. Jesus walked in on a Saturday with his crew of 3 men and started organizing. Within one week he had cleared out 5500 square feet that was packed to the 10 foot ceilings with 25 years worth of fragile electronics equipment.  Jesus didn't just move it, he put everything exactly where it belonged in the new building. It was unbelievable. Everything was neat in our new location. Jesus is a jack of all trades, he does lawn work, mowing, landscaping work and plowing in the winter. I intend to use him this summer. I was stunned by how good his price was.

I needed to have some work done and contacted the company first through their web-site. I waited days but they never responded. I called the company because they had good ratings and they promised to come and do an estimate but never came. They called back to apologize for not coming promptly and said they would come but then never came. I will never use them again.

We could not get the provider to give an estimate.  We made an appointment that the provider did not keep and did not call to notify us that he was not coming.  After two days of trying to get a reply to our voice messages, we finally reached BMR who stated that they did not come out because of illness.  We rescheduled for another estimate and they never showed again.  After leaving about half-dozen messages, we gave up trying to contact them.  To this date (over 4 months later) they have not returned any of our phone calls.
