Recent Review: Terry came out to give us an estimate and we had the bid five days later. We went back and forth with calls and emails but settled on a plan and an estimated date of pouring. Terry was able to fit our job in so we had our patio poured two weeks earlier than planned. That was great! The crew came in the morning began working and was done in about 4 hours. They left the area clean as if they were never there. The crew was friendly and professional. We are very pleased.

Recent Review: Estimate was competitive, and owner Rick was very responsive and easy to work with. He dealt with multiple updates to the design and other decisions, and was flexible right up to the date of installation. Crew was on site right on time every day - and start to finish, was done in three and a half days. I added elements to the original bid, and the upcharges were reasonable, and reviewed with me prior to installation. Rick also offered advice that saved me money, and added to the value of the job. I pointed out a cosmetic issue on the stamped concrete, and Rick sent back a team member after day was over to fix the issue - and the fix is invisible.

Recent Review: They were not very prompt and they were scheduled to meet with us several times and never showed. Finally, they did show up to pour the foundation but they left a huge mess. They did ok on the foundation, but they spilled concrete all over the place and we had to clean it up. They were careless and thoughtless, and I would never recommend them.

Recent Review: Moore's were extremely pleasant to work with.  We also needed sump pump work done at the same time and they bent over backwards to work with sump pump workmen.  Also, while the concrete floor of the garage was torn up, we needed to have Orkin come out and reapply our termite protection.  This caused a delay for the concrete crews while they waited for that to be done and then for it to dry a few hours before they started pouring concrete and they were very gracious in working around these issues.  I found both Barb and her husband, Steve, who stays on the job site all the time, very amiable and easy to work with.  They were professional and  did a professional job on the garage floor and the driveway.  I would highly recommend them.  As I researched them before we hired this company, I drove around and checked 12 referrals and actually talked to one homeowner that was home.  I inspected driveways that had been done by this company and in visiting with the one homeowner, found that the homeowner was very pleased with the company.  Therefore I went ahead with the hire as I found the estimate to be very fair and the driveways that I had inspected had all stood up well.

The crew arrived late the first day, the 2nd day the crew ran out of Aqua Stop and left without telling my husband whether they planned to return the following day to finish the work, response to customer phone calls is slow (the only phone # provided is the office # and calls aren't answered after hours) contributing to a delay in project completion. This company also does not accept credit cards, a detail not disclosed during the estimate. The owner who did the estimate did not check on the work performed. Overall, I felt that as homeowners we were left out of the loop often and despite having 3 contact numbers for us, very little effort was made to keep us informed. I also felt that the job should not have been started if there were not sufficient materials on hand to finish the job without interruption.

Their cost was approximately $5000 that included the supplies but I can't remember. It was a big sized deck. This was my first experience with them and it was not very good. I paid by the hour and it was too much time coming, going and setting things up. The job took way longer than it should have. It was not the most productive way possible to do the kind of work that I needed. If I had to do it again then I would use a regular contractor who would charge me by the job and not by the hour. The final product turned out to be great. My husband did a lot of work. He would go out and get things moving. I liked the deck; it was good. They were fine with the clean-up. It was just their timing as they spent a lot of time on their phone. I did not think that the time was well used and they left me with a torn up deck for much longer than they said that they would. I had a terrible time with their scheduling. They would give me two hours and leave instead of giving a whole day. It was not a good way to do things. They also spent too much time in coming and going for different jobs. I would blame the schedulers as much as the workers. I was very annoyed with them the whole time and spent a lot of time in talking to their office. The quality of their work was fine. I did not think that they were responsive but I did not know why. I was not sure if they were punctual because they would do their work and leave. The whole thing did not fit right. I think I got a letter from them saying that they were out of the business which did not make any difference to me.

It went very well. Brandon was the boss.I had to move the appointment last minute due to business travel and he was very accommodating. 4 men showed up perfectly on time and worked with no break until everything was done in about 2 hours. They cleaned up and left after checking that I was satisfied with the work done. Very good and professional.

Showed up and gave written estamit.  3 other companies, would only give verbal. Once decided on this company, was given date for work to be done. They called night before, to confirm. And started removal at 730am on Tuesday. They understood I worked nights, so after removal, were very quiet, setting up for pour. On Wednesday they were there at 730am, and poured concrete, was quiet enough, slept threw this. Very professional, very respectful of my weird sleep habits. And it looks great! They even left my grass looking good, I won't has to re-seed!. Already telling other night shifters to use this company! I will use them again for any other cement work. Have to get business cards, as have been asked for them. Thank you Rick and team!

AMWC Construction
I was extremely pleased with all phases of the project.  Mike was very courteous and responsive.  Although it was a very busy time of the year for contractors, Mike provided me with an estimate in just a few days.  His bid was very competative to others and he was able to start the project about two weeks later, as he had stated he would.  Mike and his crew showed up early on the first day of the project and worked very hard for three days to complete the job, again as he had stated.  The finished patio, retaining wall and firepit are beautifull and just as we had hope for when we first imagined the project.  I will recommend MWC Construction to my friends and neighbors and would not hesitate to use them for future projects.

AJohn'S Honest Home Improvement
Where to start! I have used John for several projects in the last couple of months. Let me back up with some history. I am renovating (not restoring) a 100 year old house that has only had a kitchen face lift in the mid 50's. I have been working on this since August of 2013. I have had hundreds of contractors come through for bids and a few I ended up hired. Of the dozen actually hired contractors, my electrician I would recommned 100%, my plumber 80% and I would not recommend a single other contractor I have hired. John is exceptional. He is a and quot;handy manand quot; but does everything if he is able to do. He will tell you if he is not. He will tell you if you need to go with someone else or if he can bring in someone to work for him to do the job. To start off, John finished up some tricky drywall pass throughs and walkways that my hired contractor never completed. He mudded and smoothed. He also planed down all of my inside window frames and trimmed them out. I orginally had lathe and plaster and replaced with drywall. The old window frames stuck out at odd angles and had to be planed down in order for trim to be applied. He also did baseboards and trimmed the new interior doors. A month or so later I ended up in a pinch and needed about 6yds of concrete ASAP (foundation wall issue and sidewalks around the corner of house where water was getting). He doesn't usually do this type of work but boy does it look good. He brough guys in to work the concrete and brought a professional onboard to do the concrete finishing work so it has been done by a pro. The most recent issue was where the water puddle at the front of the house was seeping under the concrete and getting into my crawl space. We had to form a micro trench in the new concrete to get the water to drain so that the radon mitigation company could do their work. This last bit had to be executed within 4 days and John pulled it off. With all of the money I have put into this remodel, I save money anywhere I can. I offer to do as much labor as John will let me to help the jobs move along and get completed. He has helped me when the history of the use of contractors for me have been rather dismal. On this latest concrete job I know I gave him extra than he was expecting and I would do it again because he has saved my butt several times so far. He is amazing. He has been super swamped with work lately but that is just a good indicator that he does a good job. He won't tell you he will be there and then blow you off. If he can't fit you in and do a great job he will tell you. It is really hard to find contractors that will work in Bellevue NE due to the very strict city requirements. If you find a good one you have to keep them. Most companies won't even return your call when you tell them you live in Bellevue, or they will just refuse do any work.
