Recent Review: Josh Kneeland did a very good job checking the furnace and even replaced the water line & water-filter for the humidifier that is connected to the furnace for me.

Recent Review: The air conditioning unit on my house wasn't working and I was wanting to replace with an energy efficient model. I would highly recommend H & H Heating. They had the best price and the best service. I had dealt with another company that didn't even show up to the estimate meeting without a call. H & H was right on time for both the estimate and actually doing the work. They were very efficient and got the work done in the time they told me and for the amount that they quoted me. Their employees that installed it took time to make sure I understood how to run everything as well as the whole house humidifier. I would deal with them again in a heart beat.

Recent Review: All Star did a fantastic job with attention to detail! They were also very mindful that we were running a business while they were working. They were aware of how much noise they were making and kept it to a minimum. They were very punctual and professional. They did a great job cleaning up afterward and were very good at communicating exactly what they were doing. Great Job! A special thanks to Cory and Ryan for all of their hard work and going the extra mile! Thanks Guys!

FH & H HEATING & AIR CONDITION
Overall my husband and I would NOT recommend H&H. We had several issues with H&H and their service. H&H was here on time, but didn't complete the job in the promised time. They took 5-7 days longer than promised. Durning the installtion process, I noticed that my freezer lid was dented. I called and noted it on my file, I was told that the insurance adjuster would come out and settle the claim. We NEVER saw or heard from their insurance adjuster, and the only way thay were were compensated for the freezer lid was to keep back funds when settling the final bill. Second problem- when we went to turn the furnace on in May 2010- we let it run over night and returned to the house in the morning, smelling gas. We shut the furnace off and called H&H. They did come to service the same day but realized that the gas union inside the furnace was NOT connected, leaking gas the entire night. After the realization that they could have blown up my house, we didn't call and ask where the bill was (we were promised a follow up visit when the installation was complete, this NEVER happened). Two and a half months later, the owner called up and was verbally abrasive with my husband demanding we pay the final bill. After agreeing to meet and discuss a settlement/agreement of some kind, we got a lot of lip service with promises of insurance adjusters and discussions with partners. Another 3 weeks passes before contact from the owner was made again. This time the discussions were even more abrasive- the owner even stated that he didn't need to speak with me (or in his words- "your wife") because I wasn't on the contract- though my name was on the contract. After the threat of a collection agency from H&H to get the remainder of the payment, we sought legal concil my husband and I did pay all but the cost of the freezer lid. Then came the cherry on it all- my husband went to hook up the waterline to the on furnance humidifier (10-30-10)- after some trouble shooting, he discovered that the humidifier was placed but not hooked up to the electronics of the furnace. I would think twice about requesting H&H to install and service any unit in your home, unless you have the patience and willingness to be abused by contractor hired to preform a service.

I called Daltons out in December to check my furnace because it was making a noise. They told me nothing was wrong.  Not once did they mention I needed a new furnace.  I paid them $65.00 for coming out to do the diagnostic tests.  Within five weeks, my furnace had broken down.  I called them out again.  This time they replaced the motor blower and charged me $444.00.  The invoice read, "Customer stated blower noisy and would't run unless spun by hand.  Replaced blower motor and run cap.  Restarted furnace.  Checked operation of inducer, ignitor, pilot, burners, vent, drains, and controls.  Checked blower rotation, vac and Amps." The NEXT day the furnace broke down again.  This time I was told it was the inducer and charged 400.00 and told I needed a NEW furnace.  Here is what that invoice said, " The inducer was wobbling like crazy, Scott was out here yesterday and replaced blower motor and noticed that t he inducer was bad but didn't do anything about it.  Overnight it got worse and I took it apart and the wheel was bad.  Then I went to the shop and couldn't get the wheel off so grabbed a new wheel and plastic motor housing and a new motor.  Installed the motor and everything was working as designed and he had heat.  He paid me 400. bucks of the inducer no diag fee." They told us the money I had already spent could be put toward the new furnace I needed.  After getting estimates for a new furnace, they told me they would not give me the money.  They would throw in a humidifier and a furnace filter and give me $200.00 credit.  The president of the company met with me with no intention of compromising.  He handled it poorly for a man in his position.  I would NEVER recommend this company.  I have done business with them for years, but the new president is taking the company down with his poor customer service and excuses. I am now looking for a new company to install a furnace and have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
