Recent Review: We had a good experience with Brazilian Direct. They came in and got the job done. They weren't on their cell phones or running back and forth, wasting time. They worked really good as a team, together. They were responsive to what I wanted. They were prompt and exactly on time.
Recent Review: Rep inspected floor, gave us options, gave us a firm estimate, tested the finish product, arrived when promised, did the job with dust collection equipment, did a professional job. Floor looks and performs great.

Reviews in Saint Charles for Installing Hardwood Floors
B50 Floor, Inc.
The guy who did the sale was good. The people who did the installation, there were a few weird things that happened and they settled it for us. There were just stupid mistakes.

FFlooring Gallery-Windsor Heights
Flooring Gallery installed a hardwood floor in my new house. When the dust settled, I found that they had installed all the dark boards in one place and all the light boards somewhere else. They did not bother to mix them up! Also, there were some very large (1"+) knots that they filled in with putty. They billed me for the full $5k in advance as I financed it through their finance company - a big mistake! When I complained, Flooring Gallery offered me $500 and a throw rug. I filed a dispute with their finance company (GE/Mohawk) but, being beholden to them, the finance company denied it for bogus reasons. I sued in small claims court but they showed up with a lawyer and an "expert" who was actually a 20-year company employee, so I lost. I ultimately had the floor torn out and replaced by Barnum (who did a nice job) for another $8k out of pocket. Steer clear from Flooring Gallery - they are incompetent crooks who prefer to fight than to do a good job.?

ASHARP FLOORING SOLUTIONS
We hired Bryan to install hardwood floors on our second floor and in the living room. He was responsive, always on time and did an excellent job on both the hardwood floors and tiles for two bathrooms. Bryan is also very professional and respectful, something helpful if you are a woman doing business with him. We will definitely use him again and highly recommend his services. We've gotten many compliments on our beautiful floors. His price range was very competitive. An excellent value for the price.

They were very easy to work with from the sales to when they installed everything. We would use them again. They were very courteous when they were there working.

Everything went very well. They are very knowledgeable and professional. With wood flooring, it can be difficult to explain all of the options available. They did a great job explaining my options as well as answering any of my questions. I was very pleased with their service.

It went great, they created a 0 entry shower when others said it couldn’t be done as well as a beautiful hardwood floor in the kitchen and I couldn’t be happier with it.

I dropped off my house key, and they finished the job while I was out of town. There was a 12" x 12' hole in the floor & subfloor to repair. Before the finishing, I can't even tell where it was. Beautiful job, trustworthy, and fairly priced.

DNebraska Furniture Mart
The experience was frustrating from the very beginning. We ordered flooring from a U.S.-based mill and the turnaround time was 4-6 weeks. That time came and went and when I finally called back to follow up, I was told there wasn't enough wood to complete the order so they had to make an entirely new batch--no idea why no one felt that we needed to know this information. When that was finally done, our sales guy tried to move us up in the installation rotation since we ordered three months ago but no dice. We waited and the week before Christmas, they installed the floor. Or most of it. There was one piece of trim that they couldn't get right, so they ordered and reordered several times to get the right one. Then when the trim came in, no one bothered to call, so we waited another month until I followed up again and found out the trim was in and just sitting there. The communication was not good, until I eventually got passed along to the assistant store manager. He called me more often but had nothing to offer--a small store credit and his apology. We spent nearly $8k on flooring and it was a terrible experience. We ordered in October, the floors were installed in late December, and the trim wasn't finished until January. I would recommend you look elsewhere for hardwood flooring installation. This was just a major headache.
