I am not in the habit of leaving negative reviews but I feel it's necessary to warn other potential customers in this case because the current rating is very misleading! Carpets were cleaned and a bid was left for painting the interior. The carpets were left in very bad shape by the previous tenant and after the cleaning, we decided to replace because many stains were left and there was a strong odor that didn't come out with the carpet cleaning. I called them back about the paint bid and indicated that we would be replacing the carpets. Tim Scott was, at first, very impressive and came back to take a look at the carpets. I don't think he was impressed with the first job and insisted he could get the stains and smells out on the second try. Again, I was impressed, so I decided to give him the painting bid. Although neutral, the paint colors for trim(we used his stock) and walls were very different from the originalI so any missed area was very noticeable. I began to worry when I went to check on them and there were no drop clothes, blinds were laying in the middle of the room where they could be stepped on, and they were using masking tape to tape around the freshly painted trim. Long story short: paint splatters ALL OVER (tile floor, cabinets, mirrors, hinges, counter tops, sinks, shower and bathtub), broken blinds, many places were very streaked and needed another coat, doors frames were not completely painted, many areas of trim were missed, they didn't even attempt to paint behind the toilets. After the masking tape was pulled away, the paint came with it. I think when they realized this was a problem, they left much of the tape where it was. Even though they patched many holes, they caused more and deeper holes in one basement bedroom. Oh, and lastly, I found an empty six-pack of beer in the furnace room - very unprofessional! When Tim Scott (the owner) called to get payment, I met him at the home and pointed out these issues. He insisted he would get the place cleaned up. Tried to give me a bill for $600 more than the original and when I refused, we settled on the original bid. I asked him to leave some touch up paint for me because I knew there was no way they'd fix all the missed spots. He said that he would and stupidly, I paid him and left him to clean the place up. Returned to find the place exactly as I left it - including no touch up paint (which ended up costing me another $60). When I texted him to see if he was returning to clean up, no reply. Would no longer return phone calls or texts. Shame on you! My husband and I have spent many hours cleaning up the mess that was left by Westwood Services painting crew. VERY SORRY that I ever hired him and want everyone to know our experience so this doesn't happen to you. If you do decide to use them for a job, make sure you do not pay them until you are satisfied and the job is completely done. Stupid me! One other thing, the carpet was replaced - he was not able to remove stains or odor.
