Ground Zero Storm Shelters
Recent Review: They go through the garage floor and put it underground. They were very clean and punctual. They were very professional and power washed everything before and after. It was perfect. We have recommended them and would definitely use them again.

America's Best Remodeling
Recent Review: Project started just before winter and ended the beginning of Dec. 2015.  We had a host of complaints that some work was done very poorly.  After sending pictures and speaking with the owner they agreed to come back in Spring and make right things that were not done completely.  He was true to his word, even though they had been paid the whole contract, he sent out an expert and laborer and in two days all of our complaints were finished and we were very pleased with the results.  The biggest difficulty was that our whole neighborhood was hit by a hail storm and they probably over extended the amount of work undertaken.   Communication was the most difficult part of the job as many of the workers spoke Spanish.  They worked very hard as a group.

Recent Review: I am a widow & can no longer do major projects myself.  Overall I highly recommend Sam & will call him again if any other project crops up. He is patient with a capital P!  Efficient, kind ,caring, courteous, very reasonable , very good at problem solving. He took pictures of before and after. I am very happy with the end results. Now there will be no more rain & snow blowing across, No more ice puddles forming at the door. No more bats, raccoons ( yes we found a pair nesting inside the damaged soffit), bees, mosquitos, flies, or gnats to bother you and the house will be warmer. Pure heaven!

FVakulskas Construction & In Home Maintenance
Horrible! It took 3 months to finish a simple job. During that time materials and trash over took every part of my yard and driveway. Garbage and scraps still remain on my yard. As it sits there are gaps where the wooden sheeting under the siding is exposed, it buckles, the new trim is bent and dented. As of yesterday we have even had melting snow bypass and flow behind the gutters and downspouts the side of the home. We have also noticed the new roof is peeling up and buckling as well. The inspector who came to evaluate the percentage of completion stated our house is ruined. Any concerns voiced to contractor we're brushed off and we were told it would be perfect when finished. Not true. Not only did he bill the insurance company for work not done, he also sent us a bill for a completely different amount and then demanded payment to address any concerns. He also threatened to place a lien on the home. And it turns out he was never bonded or licensed as advertised and insurance was minimal. Save yourself from the nightmare we are suffering and find another contractor.

We waited over 6 weeks for the ridge caps on the roof to be completed.  It was only finished after multiple calls that were not returned.  Before that, they we calling wanting final payment. We probably got the job finally complete only because we refused to make final payment until the job was finished.  On Dec 3, they told it was finished, when it was not.  They actually finished it the next day, Dec 4, when we still refused to pay any additional funds until they finished the project. They gave multiple reasons for wanting more money than the contract required, all of which were untrue. Had it not been for the assistance of the insurance adjuster, we would have unknowingly paid a lot more than was required. They were rude and demanding. They tried to intimidate us to get more money than was due. They also did not get a building permit as required in our town.  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

On May 3rd Sean Parent took the old shingles off West side of house. 9 days after shingles were removed we had a bad storm coming and I asked if he should put a tarp up. He said that wasn't necessary, he knew what he was doing. When the storm came through there was water leaking throughout the entire West side of the house. Not only destroying ceilings, walls, carpets, cupboards, light fixtures, but furniture as well. One thing that scared me was, this caused was a lot of mold damage in kitchen area, where the most water had came in. Sean said he would kill/spray cupboards with chemical solution before they could be removed for everyones safety. He had to spray 2 different times on 2 different days because mold was so bad but he said that he killed all of the mold. The cupboards that were damaged were pulled down about 5 weeks after rain first came in and were water damaged and moldy. Some had been thrown out in trash pile and others took away on trailer. The cupboards were supposed to be replaced with new. A couple of weeks later the crew/2 young guys came out and put back up the old moldy cupboards. I watched them just brushed the mold off with sander and swiped off with his shirt, not even washed or cleaned. The cupboards are more damaged now then when they took them off wall, busted wood, pieces missing and frayed bottoms. I protested the use of moldy cupboards, Sean told me everything would be ok. I called the health department and they told me that there is no way I should let Sean reuse those moldy cupboards. I have copd and rhinitis, I'm allergic to mold, dust and pet dander. I told Sean he had to replace cupboards as he had promised in first place. I did not ask for this mess, It was not my fault his poor workmanship caused all this damage. Sean agreed to replace cupboards. He never did! He desered job instead. Leaving my dining room and kitchen and living room unlivable. Sean ran out of materials to side house 2 times, he used wrong color trim 2 times. Siding job never was completed either. The same siding I have that I saw on Sean's house with the same wrong color trim as I drove by it, his house is only 3/4 the way done sided. Now I know why he kept running out of materials. His crew got into fist fight in my front yard. 1 treated me so disrespectful on 3 different occasions, I demanded this boy to leave my property. Sean said he had to fire him, as his action were not acceptable. (found out later he did not fire him, just laid him off and away from my house) The ceiling & walls in bedrooms have been replaced with new sheetrock and trim and very poor workmanship. All I've gotten is lies from this man from the beginning. Always an excuse why he couldnt come to work on my house. Sean went so far as to tell me he had brain surgery one day, so he couldnt work. I talked to him at 8:50am and then at 11:00am and again at 1:00pm. He showed up at my house at 2:20pm saying he had brain surgery that morning and couldnt work because he couldnt talk or walk straight. I had friend over as witness to this. One day later when he showed up to try to fix kitchen sink he broke, he took hat off & not even 1 spot on whole head was shaved or banaged.  I have pictures with dates from beginning to end as proof to all I have stated here. I have hired another construction company, who will have to take off what siding Sean accomplished, do to poor workmanship, & start over. Sean is smooth talker, the master of excuses & talks with big words to make himself sound good, but his workmanship is very poor. Sean said he was licensed, insured and bonded when I hired him. Always forgetting to bring me the papers so I could see them. I found out who his insurance company is & called them, they said he set up to get insurance but never paid for it, therefore he has no insurance. Sean also didn't get permits to do the job. This whole experience has been one big nightmare! A simple job that was supposed to take a week to 10 days has turned into 4 months of misery.
