Recent Review: We recently had new siding, windows, roof, etc done with a contractor.  Our bid for the gutters was $780 and that was sub-contracted out to Gutter Express.  I did not have any contact with the company until they showed up to the house to install the gutters (I didn't know what day they were coming, alhtough that was probably my contractors fault).  They brought with them 3 different colors, white and two tans that didn't match the siding at all.  I didn't want white gutters, so we asked them to leave a color card for us to check and pick.  The color card had a gutter color that matched perfectly, so we requested that color.  This, by the way, is something Gutter Express should have noticed right away.  We then found out that they don't stock the color, so they had to order and it would be 2 weeks before installation.  Three weeks later, we get a call from our contractor saying that the gutter guys were going to be at the house to install gutters that day, and needed us to go home to unlock the house.  We showed up to the house at the same time as the gutter guys and noticied that the gutter color they had did not match the color card (or siding) at all.  The gutter guys agreed when we showed them the color card, and again they left packing, no gutters installed.  We're told by our contractor that there was no other option on the colors, again trying to sell us on the white.  We called Gutter Express and talked to them about what our options were, and we're basically told there are no options other than white.  In the end, we did not get gutters through them and decided to go elsewhere on our own. I feel that Gutter Express failed by not coming to the house before showing up to install gutters, not even knowing what color the house was.  At the very least, they should have dropped a color card by.  Then, when the color was off, they should have offered a better solution.  Instead, I did all of the leg work and investigation myself.  The color card listed "Lynch Aluminum" as the company they order from, so I went onto their website and the color we chose from the card we were given isn't even an option on the Lynch Aluminum website.  Seems like Gutter Express has old color cards.  Gutter Express offered no customer service or support, and I would not recommend their services to anyone.
