Recent Review: Orlando called promptly on the initially scheduled day of my closing to let me know that because of the rain, his earlier job with concrete work was taking longer than expected and he wanted to postpone my closing to the next afternoon. The next day, Orlando and another gentlemen showed up as promised and immediately went to work on my pool. They drained and blew out the plumbing and equipment, filled with antifreeze, installed plugs, treated the pool water, and installed the winter cover. They worked furiously and were finished in 75 minutes. He charged time and materials, which ended up being significantly less expensive than the itemized quote I had from another company. This was my first year owning a pool and Orlando took the time to answer my questions, explain what they were doing, and point out things that could help me extend the life of my equipment. All without trying to sell me additional products or services. Even with my relative inexperience, I had learned a lot from the internet and knowledgeable personal aquaintances over the summer, and it was clear that Orlando knows his stuff. And he's personable and friendly to boot.

Recent Review: In researching landscapers online, I saw Friend Landscaping right here on Angies list. His company had numerous very good reviews, and very well rated with BBB, so I contacted him for a quote for landscaping repairs that we were planning on needing to be done in the spring time. When he came out, we discussed the construction work that had been completed which had torn up all the landscaping. The conversation went to the problems that I'd had with previous contractors in getting the job done, so I still had to get the pool assembled and deck built before I could have him do the grass re-seeding and other repair work. It was at that point that I found out that he had experience assembling swimming pools and offered to get it assembled now rather than waiting until spring. Long story short, he came back the very next day to start the work and had the entire pool fully assembled in 3 days. Cost was higher than I would have paid a swimming pool company to do it in the spring, however he was willing to get it done right away, so that it was ready to go in the spring. I started my conversation with him just looking for a landscaper to do some repair work, but found out he does so much more work than just landscaping, and got my pool up months ahead of anyone else being willing to do the work, and also spent several hours discussing other items on the project list unrelated to the pool install that I was paying him to do. Lots of very good ideas on deck design/construction that I hadn't considered, as well as proper landscaping materials/ideas around and underneath the deck once built . Extremely professional folks to work with, and provided a huge amount of extra thoughts/ideas on my deck assembly, landscaping repairs, etc. Well worth the price paid in my mind, and I definitely will be getting a quote from him in the spring to do the actual landscaping work, the reason I contacted him in the first place.

Recent Review: We had an excellent experience! We hired Remodelworks initially for a complete kitchen remodel. We were so pleased with the outcome we went ahead with a master bath remodel, a deck, and a pool house which we love. Whether your budget is $15,000 or 200,000, Remodelworks has always answered the call. They helped us formulate our vision of what we wanted. They have a very talented group of pros from plumbing to custom carpentry and trim work. They always were within budget, always advising us when we might want upgrade from the budget, they always had our economics in mind. They really restored our home and made it enjoyable again!

Recent Review: This is our first season with an outdoor pool. We moved into the house in the fall and only had time to winterize the pool without knowing how it would look this spring. Upon reopening the pool for the summer we were having issues balancing chemicals and getting the water clear. We contacted Tidy Pool and initially had some issues coordinating with them. It turns out that is due to their workload and the fact that this is a typical small business with only a couple of employees. Once we were able to coordinate an appointment they came out to look at the pool, diagnose the issues (our filter sand needed replaced- 300 lbs of sand- and some gauges and seals needed replacement too), then returned two days later and completed the work in about 90 minutes. The filter is already running better and for the type of work that needed done I would say the cost was more than fair. The guys are also very courteous and left us with solid advice for keeping the pool maintained. I would highly recommend these guys to do pool repair/maintenance work. Keep in mind they are likely very busy during the summer and fall, so if you cannot connect with them right away keep trying. All in all we were able to get them out to us within a week of our first call to them. I would rather work with someone that busy who is doing a good job than have a lower quality job done a couple of days sooner.

Dave and his highly skilled team transformed our pool into a showplace.  They go above and beyond without nickel and diming you...I'm surprised at the other rating as we've found them to be highly responsive.

DMcCargarWorks LLC
I contacted them to come out to my site and look over the work to be done. After leveling the backyard for a swimming pool, installing deck, and widening driveway, we had a lot of landscaping destruction. I requested a quote to remove a few dead trees near the pool area, smooth out the grading around the house/pool, and re-seed grass. Started out really good and they were very willing to work with my schedule and met me at the house within a few days, even on a Sunday afternoon on March 8th, which worked best for me. He looked over the site and specifically stated that this looked like an easy bid to put together and he'd have it to me right away. A week later on March 16th I followed up, he apologized for the delay and promised he'd get me a quote right away, as I was holding up the deck building project to get the trees removed first. Over a week later now and still nothing so I'm going with another vendor instead
