HARDY PLUMBING
Recent Review: Pros: Response was prompt. Called at 10:00pm and left message on answering machine. Staff returned my call first thing at 7:28am. There is an emergency number available, but I didn't consider this an emergency Provided pros and cons of tank-less vs conventional heaters. Tech was professional Staff and tech had my best interest in mind. Used all new tank, and copper material. No hidden costs. Installation time was reasonable. provided pipe insulation at no cost upon request, which I installed later that afternoon. Cons: Did not have Energy-star rated (tank) gas heaters in inventory.

Recent Review: Water heater busted around 2am. We called at 7am when they opened and the senior service tech came out by around 8am to give us an estimate. We filled out the needed forms and by 2:30pm that same day their tech was backing up into my driveway with the new water heater. Took about 1.5 hours to remove the old, make new fittings, route a few things a better way and installing the new one. Tech was very nice and wasn't bothered by me watching and asking questions, unlike several I've had in the past.

Recent Review: It took most of the day but they did a great job! Had to leave other tanks under the house which I knew could not be removed. Have used them in the past for a major leak in the house also were very prompt and fixed the problem also. Also great on air conditioning problems too.

Kays Painting & Home Maintenance
Recent Review: First and far-most, Mr. Kays was very nice and cordial. Very professional and mindful of both time and cost. He offered great cost-saving ideas and completed my handyman list in no time.  Upon completion of the job, I was very pleased, until taking a closer look at his work the following day. I had to call him back twice; once because the lock he installed at my back door did not meet the wood (truly apologize for not describing the issue better, but don't have a clue!!). Basically when locked,  the latch bar thingy did not enter the wood.  In essence, someone from outside could actually push the door open.  I called Mr. Kays and he rushed over to fix it. In all fairness, the building contractor didn't set the door right initially, so there was a wider than usual gap between the door and the frame. However, the old lock fitted perfectly. Of note; I was changing the locks for stronger/sturdier locks.   I had to call him for the second time because the toilet water was completely draining from the toilet bowls (not the tank) after flushing post 1-2 hrs of sitting.  This was happening with all three toilets. When lifting one of the tank lids, I noticed a ring (approx. the size of a donut) half-way encircling the tank flap, which was obviously the problem, but I didn't want to bother anything without consulting Mr. Kays. Once again, Mr. Kays was called and he came right over. It turned out that the donut ring in question was a cardboard ring that he forgot to remove when installing the new tank flush systems. Unfortunately, one had already flushed through the pipe. To this day, I am still having trouble with that particular toilet . It flushes slow. Plans are to call a plumber (via Angie's List of course) to have it snaked (whatever that means) as advised by a male co-worker. As for the drywall repair; he did an excellent job. In regards to the kitchen light fixture repair, Mr Kays was able to install a new fixture for basically the same cost of repair parts for the old one. Overall, given Mr Kays' years of experience, his wonderful personality, his genuine concern for keeping things within my financial grasp,  and his prompt response when called to correct my trouble-spots,  I would use his service again.
