The countertops look good. If you use him inspect countertops very closely. The backsplash also looks good. We figured that the combination of our wall colors and the black countertops were making the backsplash tile appear different than in the showroom.

FMy Granite Man
Jennings McAbee promised to return our money but has not.He has had 4 complaints with the Better Business Bureau. He is charming and I think he may truely believe the things he says, but in the end calls are not answered or returned, appointments are not kept and the job is not done right. We started kitchen and bath renovations last summer and it is still not over. Jennings installed countertops in our kitchen and they look good, but electrical, plumbing, stovetop downdraft ductwork and tile work were terrible. Shortly after the countertops were installed we decided to add more cabinets and asked to purchase another slab from the same lot so we would have matching countertops when the cabinets were finished. The cabinet maker, Kent Fields, that Jennings recommended took our money and disappeared. When the cabinets were finally finished and after many phone calls to mr. McAbee he finally scheduled to install the countertops at 10:00 AM. He did not show up until after dark, dropped off tjhe countertops and said they would come back later to install them. The island was not cut right and the countertop was cut short and the stone is tan, not cream. We were so tired of dealing with this mess we decided to just have them glued down and live with it. When Jennings finally showed up to install the countertops he came by himself with a caulk gun. I thought someone was coming to help him and then he was gone. There were a few dabs of caulk, but the countertops were not attached. The island granite actually rocks. After doing some research I found that the granite is not from the same lot, they are different colors, you do not need to see them side by side to notice this. Mr. McAbee agreed to return our money and take the brown granite away. This was a lie. We have not received any money and he does not return calls. Not only do we have to pay for new granite countertops we still have to have the tile work, electrical and duct work repaired. We already had to have a real plumber repair the new disposal that Jenning's "plumber" installed incorrectly.
