I enjoyed working with Patrick. He's easy to talk to, and very professional. He answered my questions, and provided a detailed estimate, on the spot. Later copies of the estimate and invoice, generated by computer, were accurate, complete and attractive. Patrick communicated well with his crewmen, and made sure that work was done as we had agreed. The crewmen were friendly, skillful and efficient. The work looks good, and included the interior of my screen porch, which I had not expected. During the job, I asked about some add-on work, painting bathroom cabinets. The price was reasonable, so we agreed to do it. I later realized we had forgotten about a cabinet in another area of a split bathroom. Patrick had that cabinet painted at no extra charge, in the interest of completeness. Not counting the power washing, done several days early, the job lasted 3 full days, performed by 3 workmen, with Patrick providing support and possibly additional labor. That's as best as I can figure, since I was not there most of the time. I made one suggestion to Patrick, for future consideration. My house is about 15 years old. The shingle molding available to make repairs was not quite a perfect match to what is on the house. His carpenter had removed small sections -- about 12 inches long -- of rot, and put in the new material. That's normal repair. But, I'd prefer not to have 2 imperfect joints so close together. I'd suggest using longer pieces -- possibly full 8-foot sticks -- for each repair. The extra material would have to be figured into the cost.
