Recent Review: I provided all the parts but one, and it turned out to be expensive, because i had to pay him to go get it.  The rest was pretty straightforward.  The final bill was about $100 more than the initial estimate.

Recent Review: Technician showed up on time and gave a listed price for obviously a common task.  Did a great job.  Wore shoe scuffs when in the house and cleaned up after cutting sheet rock and old pipe, soldering new ends with threaded connections, and installing new valves.  Valves were of a higher quality than what the original builder provided (imagine that).  This company was recommended by a work colleague and I would use them again.

Recent Review: Ken Gaddis has been very professional in performing various jobs for us during our on going remodeling project.  He immediately provided us with a written estimate. He responded to our calls quickly and always arrived as promised. Thus far, he has performed the following in addition to the work mentioned previously:  Replaced an outside hydrant with a new frost free hydrant for $262.80.  Roughed out master shower (installed customer supplied shower valves, installed 1.5 inch PVC) Stubbed out master bath lavatory with new supplies through floor, installed extension on lavatory drain and water lines in half bath for $334.88. installed new main water shut off valve for $178.83.  Removed water heater and capped the water supplies for $125.  Installed customer supplied toilet and added new stainless toilet riser, trimmed out 2/3 of shower with customer supplied fixtures for $201.14. When Ken Gaddis came to give us an estimate, we did not call any other plumbers to obtain quotes.  We were pleased with his professional approach and decided he was the one for our project and we have no regrets.  We will call him when we are ready to complete our projects.

Charged  $350 to replace valve to correct rushing sound through pipes.  Job took well  under 2 hours to complete.  Several months later issue returned.

Access to valve is in a closet in a bedroom. I took some measurements to locate approximately where the valve should be. I then cut the drywall in the closet to allow access to the valve. I then went to Lowe's and purchased a replacement kit for the job. On Wednesday afternoon a phone call was made and a Thursday morning appointment for repair was set up. On Thursday morning, about 0930, two plumbers arrived,Steve and Mike, to make the repair. About 1.5 hours later the job was done.

DEAGLE PLUMBING
We (owners) could not be not present for work, we were transferred out of town for 18 months. Property manager was in charge of home, not supervising. Company was left to own auspices to complete work. Piping was installed but when cleaners came in and turned on water and left, multiple fittings were leaky and massive water damage occurred. The property manager discovered it after an unknown amount of time. Owner was notified by phone and had to direct a restoration company to remedy. Plumbers were apologetic and paid a restoration company for the cleanup without a fight. However, the cleanup was either incomplete or occurred too late. Mold growth occurred. An additional leak in the refrigerator line and the washer line were discovered after all of this happened when renters moved in (evidence that there were still fittings left unchecked, even after the water leaks). A manager of the plumbing company called us and assured us that sometimes fittings were faulty and needed to be replaced and that no damage had occurred. Upon our (owners') return (18 months later) we discovered there actually WAS damage. Water had seeped to other side of kitchen wall and caused mold growth in a closet. Additionally, we noticed holes were drilled in bathroom vanities to run pipes in the bathroom (pipes were visible from observer standing in bathroom) and an A/C flex duct had been disconnected and run into an attic space to provide cool air to the plumbers' work space in upstairs attic space. We took multiple pictures. Pipes were run so that they sat atop flex duct and no clamps were installed near fixtures (bath fixtures were left free so they could be wiggled). The flexible piping was not secured or shielded anywhere, not even near abrasive surfaces and were left hanging underneath the house in the crawlspace. I expected holes in the walls but another independent plumber who came in at owners request said it was the worst work he had ever seen, except that some of the couplings that Eagle replaced after the initial leaks were of good quality, and so were the shower valves. Eagle offered to send someone to fix it but at that point I didn't want them back in the house. Their rep even had the gall to say he couldn't believe I was charged such a low price for the work. Even though it seemed that management meant well initially, we were taken advantage of overall and now we have had to strip one bedroom (and next our kitchen) down to the studs to find and remedy the mold.
