Recent Review: General renovation of a house we had rented out; Work was professional, little cleanup, cooperative.  Brent found things I had missed on inspection and reworked them.  He constantly reminded me to call him if I saw something later with which I was not pleased.  At the end of the first week, I had to arrange to have money in my checking account as he does not accept credit or debit, but I was advised far enough ahead that it was not an issue.

Recent Review: Mr. Casebier did an incredible job.  He is a contractor who approaches the job with a professional attitude but he is willing to take the time to establish a rapport with his customer so that they feel comfortable in discussing options that arise during the renovation process.  I don't know of another company that has a name that is more true to their capabilities like the Whole House Doctor.  There really isn't a limit to the jobs he can tackle for you - from small to large!  It is important that you can be flexible in your timeline.  As with any contractor you would deal with in the construction/renovation business, there will be delays. These delays are not necessarily caused by the contractor but by many factors such as weather, vendor supply problems, staffing issues.  I would say that I would rather deal with an adjusted completion time BUT know that I have quality work being done than to have someone else rush through the job.

Reviews in Cleveland to Remove Popcorn Ceiling

FThrondsen Home Projects
I cant believe this guy is still in business! I had him re popcorn a ceiling. When he was cleaning up, he used my kitchen sink to clean up his popcorn ceiling dispenser and tools - never asked me if we had a utility sink, which we did. And to add insult to injury - used my sponge to clean up his stuff that I clean dishes!! He told me that the product was not toxic!!???. When he replaced my faucet - which I purchased as he requested, he asked me where the new trap was. He forgot to tell me to purchase one. Then he wanted to throw all the trash and clean up materials in my trash can - he had no intention of hauling it away. I would never hire and have told neighbors of my experience with Jim Throndsen.

FChuck's Painting & Home Maintenance
Moved all furniture and occupants from home for a week while this work was being done. At the end of the week, when I was notified work was finished and it would be "move in ready", I arrived to find a MESS that literally brought me to tears (no kidding). Approximately 1/2 inch popcorn on edge of all ceiling which had been painted over and now impossible to remove, walls painted over partially removed wallpaper, again with paint that you can't even sand off, walls were painted without any removing of blemishes, popcorn droppings, ceiling paint droppings, etc., entire doors and trim areas unpainted...I could go on and on. Suffice it to say I have nearly 500 pics of this mess and after nearly a year, still can't find anyone to fix this mess for less than $11,000. My house is still sitting as is if anyone would like to come over and take a look for themselves. And to add insult to injury, when I arrived to my "move in ready" house, there was a big dog walking around inside my house. Had an appt to discuss these issues which was unkept by them, and no responses to attempts to contact them.
