Recent Review: I contacted Ron Brewington several months ago to give an estimate for sealing 2 rental property driveways that were 2 years old. The bids were attractive. I decided to do one first & he said he would do it for the original quote/ $ 371. We decided on a day to the work. He called me from the job site & said it would be more $$$. I said we would work it out. I went over to see how the job was going. He only had 1 bucket of sealer, a worker and in my opinion not the right equipment to do the work properly, i.e. a good blower to effectively remove leaves, dirt, sticks, pinestraw. He went off to purchase more sealer. He called me that evening the revised estimate was $ 797 ! When I met him the next morning to pay he would not say how many buckets of sealer it took. I eventually went to a store to check the coverage rates. By my measurements which were generous and selecting the lowest coverage rate I came up with 10 buckets. After 2 requests for a invoice, he finally sent a figure of $ 779 ! I called & asked about the descrepancy. He said it took 13 buckets and he had transposed the numbers & would refund the money. He never did - no surprise ! He also left the plastic bucket seals on the ground which I had to throw away & also left the squeegee in the shrubs. I thought the original price quote was attractive because since he was in the paving business I would benefit from his ability to buy in bulk to do parking lots, but he bought expensive 5 gal containers. I could have done the job myself for $350. It requires no special skill whatsoever.   Ron Brewington also advertises as E3 HANDYMAN CONSTRUCTION.

Bad results and they did not honor warranty...Johnny Harrison was the person that came out for the driveway sealing. He put an oil base sealer on our driveway which is not the right sealer and he ruined our driveway. We will have to redo it so it will look right again. We called him a few times and he said he would come back out, but he never did come back...this company is a rip off and scam! Never even gave me a receipt after I paid him, said he didn't have any with him but would mail it to me. I think he took advantage of us because we are senior citizens and my husband is disabled veteran and we are not able to do this on our own!
