Recent Review: The service was okay. The install took a little time. I felt that what was advertised, and what I received wasn’t exactly what I ordered. I think I should’ve been given the choice if I wanted that product, or if I wanted something different. They workers were professional, and they worked as long as they could to finish the job. Recent Review: I was searching for a cheaper alternative to home security monitoring. My family and I are on a tight budget, and we could not afford the steep charges from Suddenlink and other local home security providers for their systems. The two things causing the services to be so expensive were: (a) the cost of the monthly phone service we would need, since we don't have home phone service, and (b) the cost of the monitoring itself. We would had to pay about $80 a month, or more with these traditional companies! Thankfully I found NextAlarm after some careful googling. They are a fraction of the price of any of their competitors. Their system appeals to me, because it uses the internet rather than a phone line, saving lots of money. Their monitoring itself (done in the traditional way, with real people in a dispatch office) is also substantially cheaper on top of that. I paid $250 for the home security kit and now I only pay $13.50 per month for the monitoring! Its so cheap that the costs are literally offset entirely by the savings to my homeowner's insurance premium. The support staff at NextAlarm are great. They are so patient, and they will help you with anything related to your system. I have called them numerous times with little questions about this or that, and they are always super nice and knowledgable. They even walk you through how to make changes to your security system, step-by-step, when you want to change delay or change the programs. Please make note of the fact that they do not have a local installer to do the installation. The third-party vendor who offers an and quot;Instal cardand quot; will not be able to install your service in East Texas (they will refund your money once they see where you need the installation). Point being, you will need to hire a local handyman to install the home security system for you. As I already mentioned, I used Stephan du Toit -- (www.facebook.com/professionalhandymanservices). He charged my $60. Besides that little hiccup, NextAlarm is amazing. In summary, I love my service. I hope more people in my area sign up with them. It is such a great deal and they're so great!
Recent Review: Everything went great. I got the system a few days later and started to install it. All the devices were easy to put up all told it took about 45 minutes to get up and running. During the install I set the alarm off and Getsafe called me right away. I like the way it looks in my home and by that I mean I hardly notice it is there. I like being able to control the system from my phone and being able to check on my house with the camera when I am away.
Recent Review: It started with the name Pinnacle. It started going downhill maybe when somebody else bought it. My husband picked them. He had a cold call and then he went with it. I think we had another system at that time.
Recent Review: Their customer service is really good. We pay $39.00 per month to have our service monitored. We had one false alarm and they were to quick respond. We were out of town and they contacted us on our home, and cell phones.

My husband was a veteran, so we got a discount, and we paid $69 to get the system installed. All they did, was install it. They are courteous, they are prompt, they don't make a mess, and they go and look at the place before they install the system, so that they don't have to do it twice. They are all around great people. They did everything that they said. We haven't complained about the price. They were about 15 minutes late, but they called to let us know.

Excellent service which is why I had the company do the upgraded system. They installed the original system in 2008. When it was time to replace the system with better technology, I contacted Larry. I have had a great working relationship with Larry and Asa at Okaloosa-Walton Security & Surveillance for 8 years. At any point when I needed a service call they would usually respond within a 24 hour timeframe. If they are actively on another job site allow time for scheduling. They answer the phone promptly.

Chris and Tim arrived on time as scheduled. They showed me around my home and what they were planning on doing. They worked all day installing my new security system. Afterwards, Chris explained to me on how to operate the cameras and security system. He was very patient with me as I am not technical at all. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a security system. I also found out that they install TV's, so I am going to have them return to install a new TV that I bought.

On Mar 1, 2007 I ordered the components I needed to set up a self-install security system. Mar. 8/9 system arrives. Tim (tech) helped me to install (2 hrs). Mar 10th, the system was not working. Contacted tech (Jackie) who troubleshooted for several hours without success. A new pre-programmed system would be sent requiring little setup. Mar 20, new system arrives. It is not preprogrammed. Called Jackie who was busy and told her I would call at 1pm to which she agreed. When I called at 1pm, I was told Jackie was on a "very important" call and could not be disturbed. Beatrice helped me. I was told the new system was not preprogrammed because the system was down and it continues to be down. I was told to start over. I refused. I called Corporate to find out to whom I should address a return of the system. I was told returns would garner a $100.00 restock fee. I called Customer Service with no resolution. They finally refused to return my calls. More to tell but no characters left!!!

Contacted the Albany, GA office of SafeTec Security about installing a Broadview home security system on April 13. Josh Nielsen and the manager of the office came to my home the next day for the free security consultation. Mr. Nielsen was very professional, courteous, helpful and went out of his way to cut my costs, making a premium Broadview home security system affordable for me. Broadview originally scheduled the install on April 20, however Mr. Nielsen again went out of his way to expedite the process for me and had the installation rescheduled for April 17. Chris, the installer, who offered to work on his day off, arrived on time on the 17, he correctly estimated the install time at 3 hours. Mr. Nielsen was present for the entire installation. Chris performed a clean, professional install, and no damage was done to my home. He was very thorough in explaining how the system works, what to expect, and using the keypad controls. Overall my experience was better than expected, everyone that worked with me was very knowledgeable, professional and bent over backwards to provide an fantastic experience. I'm a customer for life and I've already recommended Mr. Nielsen to other members of my family.

I had them wire the smoke detectors to our monitoring systems. We had a house fire and they were extremely responsive during and after the fire. They were on-site to make sure everyone was okay. They provided fault codes to the fire dept to let them know what happened when. I have had a good experience with them since day one. They are very professional and responsive. He was even slow about calling me back to get an estimate, so I tried to call Security Blanket and the guy got right out here. He gave me an estimate. He was there when he was supposed to.
