Recent Review: Renovating a 20-year old house is not the same as a new build or historic restoration; however, electricity in all three settings can be challenging and should not be undertaken by amateurs. While we had done various DIY projects over the years, we never 'wander' into any electrical problem. So, we were very pleased when we contacted Garrett Electric and found that they were willing and pleased to have what for them is a small, routine set of tasks. They gave a us a prompt turn-around in setting up a visit to review and develop a quote, and followed up with a service visit five business days after the initial consultation. Brian Garrett came early for his 9AM appointment, had all the equipment and supplies to perform the installations, and was very careful working around existing cabinets and newly painted walls. He even found a switch problem that we were unaware of and replaced it. (It turned out that one of the fans was not broken, it was the switch that was the problem.) Finally, it is rare to find an electrical contractor that does small repairs as well as large commercial projects. The Garrett family views all repairs or new installations as important. We will definitely use their services in the future.

Willis Electric Inc
Recent Review: Mr. Willis arrived right on time.  I showed him where everything was and went straight to work.  We had discussed beforehand the work to be done.  I had the light fixture to be swapped out as well as the exhaust fan for the bathroom.  Mr. Willis worked non-stop and completed the job in about 2.5 hours.  I was pleased with the work as well as his explanations when I asked questions.  Overall, I am well pleased with Mr. Willis and the work he performed.

AA to Z Quality Electric
I recently bought a 1890 house and the pre-purchase inspector noticed that even though the electrical system had been updated, there were still several problems and recommended I get an electrician. Jim Christopher, the owner of A to Z, came out and quickly identified the problem, which another electrician I consulted couldn't do, and made suggestions on how to fix it. His technician, Ray, came out the next week, and worked all day to remedy the problem, as well as install a fan in the bathroom and a security light at the side door. I am very pleased with the work he did, and know that my new home is safe and more functional now. I am also very please at the fair price they charged. Jim and Ray both answered all my many questions about the electrical system. I'll certainly call A to Z when I have another project.
