Recent Review: Brian had a lot of great ideas about how to update my bathroom. He even went with me to pick out all of the materials and helped me choose tile and paint color. I showed him pictures of what I liked and he helped me pick out the materials that would match but still be within my budget. I really appreciated his input because interior design is not one of my strengths! I am so happy with the finished product! All of the workers were friendly and kept everything cleaned up. Brian was always easy to get in touch with whenever I had any questions and checked in often to make sure that I was happy with how everything was going. I love my bathroom and I would recommend them to anyone!

Beware. We hired Bryan Greenhaw in August to add a master bathroom to an existing room after we initially hired him under the name Southeast Chimney in June(and had a great experience) to complete chimney work. All of the positive and fantastic reviews you see are from when he operated as Southeast Chimney alongside TeamElite of Marietta. What should have taken only 7-14 days (according to other quotes we acquired) is still incomplete. He was starting out on his own as a contractor under the name Stark Construction and we wanted to give him an opportunity. [Side note: He is NOT a licensed contractor; only LLC] After giving him half of the quoted amount, he had plumbers come out on the first day [8/18/18] and he didn’t even personally come to the job-site. That day was a disaster and nothing was completed; only an uncentered shower drain that’s not even with the floor that has to be redone. He then showed up to start electrical and put so many holes in the ceiling that we had to replace the ceiling as it was stipled and he told us it would be too hard to match. He’d then show up here and there and continuously gave us the run-around. We kept asking him to just please communicate with us. He told us that he was waiting on the floor guy, so we ended up handling that to move things along. More and more stalling. The last weekend of October some plumbing was done. He then stopped responding to phone calls and text messages. Hardly anything was completed and here we are 5 months later in January and the bathroom is still not finished because he abandoned the job. Furthermore, DO NOT let him conduct any electrical work in your home. What he attempted to do resulted in what most likely would’ve caused a house fire. We knew he was not a certified electrician, yet he assured us he was capable and we stupidly allowed him to add three LED can lights and an LED strip to the closet. A breaker for that room kept tripping. The new contractor we hired found many severely notched up wires and melted wire caps where he had created arcing. It has been quite a headache and disappointment. Most of what he did has to be redone and trying to find a contractor to come in behind someone else’s “work” has proven to be quite a challenge. We’re starting from square one and are out the thousands of dollars we gave him. There is so much more to this story. Feel free to contact me at CrissyNc84@gmail.com. I have all communication saved to back up every single claim I’m making.

AStatus Renovations and Remodeling
We got a referral from a friend on who to use for our bathroom remodel. So we contacted Status for a quote. They came out within 2 days and returned our quote very prompt. Aimee brought all selections into our home from cabinets to floors for us to choose from. During the selection process we found out Aimee is a interior designer and this really helped with our selections. Once we signed contract and paid deposit the work was started immediately. The project manager (Jesse) kept us informed daily throughout the entire project of what was happening daily. There Team is unbelievable. From Demo to punch list these guys are spot on. I would definitely recommend anyone doing a renovation or remodel to give these guys a call. Venita

AKeen Pressure Washing & Painting Inc
Great! He was timely always kept up posted on when he would or would not be on the job. He was very courteous. Painting was unbelievably precise, no splatters or drips on any surface that was not to be painted.

ADavenport Remodeling & Construction
We first hired the Davenports to rebuild a utility room which housed a water heater and well tank that was in need of reconstruction due to prolonged water damage. Bruce was very responsive and came to estimate the job the next day. His price was fair and we hired them to build the utility room and a new deck. These guys did awesome work! The deck is really well built, very sturdy and a very high level of craftsmanship. Bruce matched our roofline with the utility room rebuild and had better ideas than me with how to design it, great job! After seeing their quality of work we hired them to build an addition onto our cabin, we had been looking for someone in the area for over a year. Bruce and his sons came in on budget and on time! The new addition is excellent, we added a master bedroom, bathroom with walk in shower, laundry closet and walk in closet. The overall design and execution is extremely high quality and Bruce, Matt, and Houston were very professional about everything. We live in Fl and received pictures via text messages each day showing progress on the job. We just came home from spending a week in our new room addition and could not be more pleased. You should definitely hire the Davenports for your remodeling or constructions needs.

First JOE AND HIS CREW were NEVER on time, work was performed in a slow and sloppy fashion. They continued to keep showing until the last check was cut and never addressed ANYTHING they were supposed to have fixed, and much of the bathroom renovation was left unfinished. DUST FROM DRILLING WAS LEFT EVERYWHERE, CAULK WAS ALL OVER, FIXTURES NOT PROPERLY INSTALLED, MIRRORS NOT HUNG, MAL ALIGNED TILES, BOARDS ON DECK WERE NOT SCREWED DOWN PROPERLY ETC... Several calls were made, one went answered when called from an unfamiliar number, the rest were never returned all with voice mail messages included. Reporting to the BBB. Joe and his crew should be avoided like the plague!

FHUNTER HOME IMPROVEMENTS
The initial tear out went fast, but was messy. Mr. McCutcheon would not show up on some days and would say his vehicle broke down. The floor replacement and shower expansion was extremely slow and tedious. There was never much progress for the amount of time he was there. However, Mr. Donald McCutcheon would ensure that he asked for at least $500 weekly so he could keep working. The contract stated $500 deposit and remaining balance of $2500 due up on completion. So yeah, he saw me coming and took extreme advantage of our kindness. This cost me a total of $2800 in labor and another $5K in materials. The floor tiles that were put down had to be pulled back up twice because the grout would crack a few days after they went down. He installed the toilet and used cardboard to shim it!! Guess what, it leaks now! Turned water off and disconnected water supply, then either him or his worker took a dump in the toilet and left it there. When I turned the water on to flush, my floor was flooded and water ran through the garage roof into light fixtures. This led to all of my breakers blowing! I should have thrown him out after this. He was using a sawzall to remove drywall and cut through one of my PEX water supply lines, guess what....new leak! I am in the Army and had to leave home for work. He worked a couple of days after I left and then never came back, just telling my wife his truck broke. Three months with no master bathroom, and we are still at square one. We have hired another contractor which has had to rip out all of this very very poor work and craftsmanship. Donald McCutcheon assured me he put insulation in all of the outer walls in the shower, when materials were removed, guess what...no insulation. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY AT ALL COSTS!!! HE SCREWED ME AND MY FAMILY BIG TIME. I AM OUT OVER $7K and now have to sell stuff to hire another contractor. This guy IS A LIAR AND A FAKE. DON'T EVEN LET HIM CUT YOUR GRASS. PLEASE HIRE A PROFESSIONAL. My lawyer is currently compiling all the pictures and the contract so we can file a lawsuit. Not sure what good it will do, but this guy stole a lot of money from me and my Family, and I don't make that much money ..... I am Soldier for God's sake, not rich by any means. Thanks for screwing us Mr. Donald McCutcheon.

The Andersons at Dreammaker Bath & Kitchen are experienced contractors who did an amazing job with our bathroom remodel. The work done involved gutting our old bathroom and changing the entire layout. They had excellent ideas and were great at communicating with us throughout the process.
