Recent Review: The service was okay. The install took a little time. I felt that what was advertised, and what I received wasn’t exactly what I ordered. I think I should’ve been given the choice if I wanted that product, or if I wanted something different. They workers were professional, and they worked as long as they could to finish the job. I would recommend them to others
Recent Review: I was searching for a cheaper alternative to home security monitoring. My family and I are on a tight budget, and we could not afford the steep charges from Suddenlink and other local home security providers for their systems. The two things causing the services to be so expensive were: (a) the cost of the monthly phone service we would need, since we don't have home phone service, and (b) the cost of the monitoring itself. We would had to pay about $80 a month, or more with these traditional companies! Thankfully I found NextAlarm after some careful googling. They are a fraction of the price of any of their competitors. Their system appeals to me, because it uses the internet rather than a phone line, saving lots of money. Their monitoring itself (done in the traditional way, with real people in a dispatch office) is also substantially cheaper on top of that. I paid $250 for the home security kit and now I only pay $13.50 per month for the monitoring! Its so cheap that the costs are literally offset entirely by the savings to my homeowner's insurance premium. The support staff at NextAlarm are great. They are so patient, and they will help you with anything related to your system. I have called them numerous times with little questions about this or that, and they are always super nice and knowledgable. They even walk you through how to make changes to your security system, step-by-step, when you want to change delay or change the programs. Please make note of the fact that they do not have a local installer to do the installation. The third-party vendor who offers an and quot;Instal cardand quot; will not be able to install your service in East Texas (they will refund your money once they see where you need the installation). Point being, you will need to hire a local handyman to install the home security system for you. As I already mentioned, I used Stephan du Toit -- (www.facebook.com/professionalhandymanservices). He charged my $60. Besides that little hiccup, NextAlarm is amazing. In summary, I love my service. I hope more people in my area sign up with them. It is such a great deal and they're so great!
Recent Review: Everything went great. I got the system a few days later and started to install it. All the devices were easy to put up all told it took about 45 minutes to get up and running. During the install I set the alarm off and Getsafe called me right away. I like the way it looks in my home and by that I mean I hardly notice it is there. I like being able to control the system from my phone and being able to check on my house with the camera when I am away.

Recent Review: It started with the name Pinnacle. It started going downhill maybe when somebody else bought it. My husband picked them. He had a cold call and then he went with it. I think we had another system at that time.
Reviews in Buena Vista for Security Camera Installation
They're great. You can tell them how many doors and windows you want protected. Some systems will just make a bunch of noise, but this one will also notify the Vivint center or the police. You can have it as simple or complex as you'd like. My basic security system is $49.99 a month, and it also covers a heat sensitive smoke detector. For example, they were going through the neighborhood offering to install stuff free if you signed up for a plan. Long story short, the people they sent out were clean cut, and had ID's on them. It shows a level of articulateness that is good. They're professional.

CEAGLE SECURITY SYSTEMS
Security system functioned ok. Cheap price. But you get what you pay for. They had a third party answering service that couldn't answer any questions, just said the owner would call you back. When I didn't hear back I got tired of the run around wrote to cancel my service they. They did. I then had to ask for a code number so the new provider could hook up their connection. Eagle refused to give it so I got stuck with a big bill. You get what you pay for. If price is your main issue, then ok use these guys but don't ever plan to change providers.

It went great. They shipped the alarm system and I installed it myself. The system was relatively inexpensive and very easy to install. The monitoring was reasonable as well. They shipped the system very quickly. I had one question and they answered it very promptly via e-mail.

CEAGLE SECURITY SYSTEMS
Low price but difficult to get in touch with and product quality is suspect. They seem to use an answering service and call backs can take days or never happen. Most of my cameras broke and my window alarm panel did as well. When I tried to change to a different company after my contract period, Eagle refused to provide the necessary code to reroute the service. Kind of figures. When I did manage to contact them and have them come to do service Russell was professional and nice. I would trust him to be in my home. This service is probably best for someone on a tight budget that doesn't see a big need for a lot of maintenance.

My experience was not great. Their process is cellular related and it would drop consistently. I would also get false alarms quite frequently. The application over the phone did not function correctly. I was not completely pleased with them.

We have accidentally set the alarm off ourselves. They have always called promptly and asked for our safe word.

I had a problem because I was losing power in my garage and other portions of my house. My security system was not working. They came out and I talked about getting some upgrades. I wanted to know what was causing problems and they did not get back to me for about a week. They said they would send an electrician out but nobody has come out yet.

The so called manager said that he would call me back after he made sure that we weren't under a new contract which we are not. Our monthly payment comes out of our checking account so we will just stop future payments through our bank.

(Ordering) I had a rough-sketch floor-plan of both floors of my home and called them on Oct 11. I talked at length with a very knowledgeable FrontPoint sales rep who's assistance and advice I found to be invaluable in deciding how best to protect my home against intrusion, fire, and water damage. I wasn't pressured at any time during the call to place an order or to purchase anything. Like I said earlier, if anything, I was discouraged from over-protection or taking any impulsive action. I had intended to purchase the system even before I called them so I did proceed with the order. The entire conversation took less than an hour and could have been much shorter except for my many questions. (Receiving) The box containing everything I'd ordered on the 11th arrived on the 13th. I unpacked everything on the 13th and checked to see that everything was there and were the things I'd ordered. I then spent a while reading the sensor installation recommendations on their website and decided I'd start the installation fresh on the 14th. I started installing everything after lunch on the 14th and was done by about 3pm. Except for having to fidget with adjusting the heights of some of the door sensors (to match the frame magnet heights) the whole thing would have taken no more than 30 minutes. At around 3pm, I called the activation number and by about 3:45pm my system was fully functional and operating great. We couldn't be happier with the system. For us, the extra $13/mo for the "Interactive" monitoring (over the $35/mo regular monitoring) is well worth it since it allows full smartphone control, monitoring, and personal text and email notifications plus has the Crash-and-Smash protection. Also, this system cannot be defeated by cutting home phone lines (BUT you MUST have reliable cell-tower connection service at your home ... sales rep can look this up for you). PLUS another HUGE advantage ... if you MOVE you can TAKE THIS WHOLE SYSTEM WITH YOU !!!! (if you're moving to another place with cell-tower connection!!) It's a good system (not fly-by-night) that you really ought to consider.
