Recent Review: Chris was very responsive to our needs. He called immediately and actually showed up when he said. He also cleaned up the area he was working in. I would highly recommend Chris to anyone.

Recent Review: I needed a handicapped accessible addition. We chose to build it under an existing roof in the space that used to be a carport. But the cabin is 4 feet off the ground and has a wrap around porch. So I drew up my design on a home architect program. I gave my plan to Mark and his crew and just watched as my plan became reality. The space was 10 feet wide by 42 feet long. There was a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom with a roll in shower, and a craft room at the back. There were two windows that had to be moved. And I added three windows that the crew found that were very close to what we had in the cabin. They made an entrance to the new space from the porch in the front and a door to the outside from the craft room. The craft room connects to the cabin pantry/laundry room. They went above and beyond creating shelving inside and a new porch at the back for the ramp to attach to. Mark has a natural ability to see exactly how the structure should be built. I admire his ability to not get bogged down in a mistake and instead to turn that into an advantage. I want everyone to know that waiting till Mark can do your project is well worth it. For some reason when I reviewed my report their is an added category line. It says the category is " Windows". That would be wrong. The category is "additions".

Recent Review: There many complicated challenges that had to be resolved. The 1903 style southern antebellum home had rear walls that were not square as common to the period of original construction. Secondly, the contractor had to clean up and modify first contractors work due to homeowners desiring a Ballew's system and not a frame rear screened porch. Every problem encountered found contractor normally proposing two solutions from which we could choose. When a problem required expert advice, the contractor brought the Ballew's expert to the job site where it could be discussed and resolved. The roofing system we wanted is not common to our area. We had special architectural requests accommodated which some did not believe could be done. Mr. Edge, without an increase to bid, found a way to satisfy our requests. This job had design angles and was not a simple job. Total cost included materials. We used a modified Ballew's system and composite materials. Also, we added one door installation and a re-installation of a door done by a different contractor. We are extremely pleased.

Recent Review: Anderson Home Services did excellent remodelling work on the house we bought. They came to look at our proposed site for the carport, and after discussion on the best way to do it, emailed us a quote. Communication between us was very good. They did a great job, and they have followed up in fixing any problems we have had since the work was finished. They are decent, honest people that we could trust. Eric and Dave are also very creative contractors who came up with some great ideas for our new home. When they tore out the walls in our bathroom, they thought of how to change the layout so that we could have an ensuite bath. They have many years of experience building homes and had lots of practical suggestions. We also got them to subcontract other remodeling jobs in the house, from putting on a new roof to changing the heat / air conditioning system. They have a high standard for their subcontractors, and we were very pleased with all the work Anderson Homes Services did on our new home.
